About: I am Cat and Dog First Aid Certified through the American Red Cross, Certified Pet Expert (CPS-DW), and an active member of Pet Sitters International (PSI). I am currently working on becoming a CPPS-Certified Professional Pet Sitter. Though I am new to pet sitting, I am constantly learning about pet care and safety. Having grown up with pets, I understand they become members of the family. I cared for my sister’s former miniature poodle Sandy and have grown up with various breeds like chihuahuas and a dachshund. Though I do not own pets anymore due to my lifestyle and living arrangements, I miss being around them. My friends told me about Rover and I jumped right in! I offer personalized care, including daily walks and playtime. I ensure your dog feels safe, loved, and well-cared for! As a Certified Pet Expert, I believe in using positive reinforcement instead of negative methods like e-collars or leash corrections, as they can harm trust and lead to aggression. While I'm not a dog trainer and won't suggest how to teach your dog, I'll happily follow your instructions and support your dog's training (: I work part-time and my availability changes weekly, so feel free to reach out for specific dates. I’m flexible and happy to accommodate your pet’s needs whenever possible! While walking your pet, I ensure they get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation, following their preferred pace and routine. I prioritize safety by keeping them on a leash and being mindful of their surroundings. For house sitting, I maintain your pet’s routine, providing meals, playtime, and cuddles. I make sure they feel secure and comfortable in their own home. I also handle light tasks like cleaning up after your pet, keeping the litter box tidy, and sending you regular updates on their well-being. Your pet will feel loved and well cared for while you're away!

About: I grew up with pets (dogs, cats, exotics) my entire life and quickly took on the responsibility of caring for them at a young age. This passion led me down the path of pursuing Veterinary Medicine. Throughout high school I volunteered at my local animal shelter and also independently studied dog training. Through the use of positive reinforcement I have successfully trained my own two dogs as well as friends' and family members' dogs. During my undergraduate years, I was a veterinary assistant at an animal hospital in Southern, California. There I learned technical skills such as administering vaccines, collecting blood samples, and giving oral and injectable medications. I am currently a first year vet student at UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, where I’m continuing my journey to help animals live healthier, happier lives. Whether it’s walking, training, or giving your pet a little extra TLC, you can trust they’ll be in knowledgeable and loving hands with me. I am currently a first year veterinary student, so everyday I have a combination of lectures and labs. However, my schedule tends to fluctuate a lot and for the most part provides me flexibility. I am free most weekdays and weekends -with proper notice- for dog walking, pet check ins, house sitting, etc. I am well versed in dog and cat behavior and training. I am comfortable tailoring to your pets usual routine and comfort level. My goal is to make them as comfortable as they are when you are home!

About: I have experience with dogs of all sizes and ages, from a 100-pound Bernese Mountain Dog puppy to a toy-sized Cavapoo and everything in between! By living in a house with a large, fenced yard we have enough space to open our home to others who need help watching their beloved pups! We currently have 2 friendly, fun-loving dogs, Beau (Australian Shepard) and Ginny (Berner). We take our dogs on long walks around the neighborhood daily, as well as visit the Chatfield dog park 15 minutes from our house bi-weekly. Working from home full-time, allows me to provide plenty of time to care for our furry friends and yours! I am available every day of the week, including weekends, so whatever your pet care needs, we're able to help! Also, note that I do not leave the dogs unattended. If there is a dog(s) being boarded with us, there will be a person at the house at all times to ensure immediate attention and care. I care deeply about our dogs' physical well-being. I provide daily stimulation, from walks to one-on-one scheduled time with each dog depending on their needs. I truly believe that furry friends are a part of the family and will treat your dogs with the same level of care that I do my own.
