“Jessie is wonderful to have as our pet sitter! She communicates well and was so great with Oslo. She is totally trustworthy and we will definitely be calling upon her again!”

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for many types of dogs, and it has always been more of a passion than a job. I will always care for and love your dog like one of my own! I currently work part-time and am available daily in the afternoons (after about 1 PM) for check-ins, walks, feedings, and more. My schedule is flexible in the early mornings, evenings, and on weekends. I am very detail-oriented and attentive to each pet’s unique needs. I make sure they are well cared for and receive plenty of love and attention. I approach every dog with a calm demeanor, moving at a pace that feels comfortable for them so they can feel safe, relaxed, and at ease in my care.
About: When I was 9, I got my first dog, and that is how I started to be interested in being a vet and take care of dogs. I’m a UCD Animal Science student. My class schedule is not very busy other than Thursdays for this quarter, so I will be home most of the time other than that. I have 3 roommates (2 are also Animal Science students) who also loves animals and knows how to take care of them and have experiences with pets. There will usually be at least 1-2 person at home always. We have plenty of space for your pet to run around in the house, and a yard which we can be taking the dog out for potty breaks.

About: I treat every pet like my own and make their safety, comfort, and happiness my top priorities! I’ve had animals since I was a child and have experience caring for cats and dogs of all ages. I’m patient, attentive, and reliable, and I follow routines closely so your pet feels secure and loved while you’re away. You can count on regular updates and close care every step of the way :) Because I babysit part time, my schedule is flexible and allows me to dedicate quality time to pet care. I’m able to plan my day around your pet’s needs and routine to ensure they get the consistent attention and care they deserve! I focus on keeping your pet’s routine consistent so they feel safe and stress free in their own home. I’m attentive to safety, keep a clean environment, and make sure your pet gets lots of attention, playtime, and affection. I also communicate regularly so you always know how they’re doing.
“Audrey did an awesome job watching my cats, I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. My cats loved Audrey back, as evidenced by pics of them crawling all over Audrey, lol! The litter box was clean, and they were fed and happy when I got home too, just like I was hoping. Audrey was kind and pleasant to be in contact with.”

“Megan was fantastic with my cat Norman. Norman is a diabetic cat who can be aggressive with strangers when they try to give insulin, so it's often tough to find sitters who can manage him. I was so happy with how patient and compassionate Megan was with him. She was extremely reliable and a great communicator, and was able to make sure he got his insulin on time everyday. I would really highly recommend Megan, you can definitely trust her to take great care of your pet!”

About: I’ve spent over 10 years caring for pets, including senior pets and those with special needs, including diabetes care. I’m always happy to tailor my approach so your pet gets the exact care, attention, and routine they’re used to. As someone with pets of my own, I have a good chunk of time carved out specifically for animal care. I would love to spend my spare time with other pets while their families are away. I am committed to providing personalized care tailored to each pet’s routine and needs. In a client’s home, I maintain your pet’s normal schedule with feedings, fresh water, walks or litter box cleaning, playtime, and companionship. My goal is to keep your pet comfortable and their routine consistent to minimize any stress while you're away.

About: Hello! Thank you for taking the time to read my profile! Now a little bit about me and the care I provide for my clients. I come from a long line of dog lovers. I was raised with pups in the home, and they were a beloved part of our family. Like myself, many family members are in the business of caring for pups in one way or another. I have been professionally taking care of pups on a full-time basis since I retired from teaching in 2020. I have worked with many breeds and specialize in small to medium dogs. I have worked with many pups who are elderly, have anxiety or need medication. Many of my clients are regulars and their pups’ become friends and have fun socializing here. Occasionally, some of my clients prefer to keep their pups separated, particularly if they are elderly, anxious and not social. I have plenty of space and can create secure sections, each with quiet den areas where pups can have their space, yet still be near me and feel safe. In addition, I use soft music to help calm and sooth pups throughout the day. For active dogs that love to play I have a long corridor which is great for indoor fetch! I also have a beautiful path behind my home where we go for long walks. The park is only a short ten-minute walk and I utilize it often. Sometimes I take my pups out for a field trip, and we get a “pup cup” at Starbucks and/or walk around the UCD Arboretum. Safety is my first priority! So, all dogs must be up to date with all their immunizations and flea/tic treatments! If you have any questions, please feel free to text me. I would be happy to set up a meet & greet with you and your fur baby to discuss your needs and any concerns. I have excellent reviews and references and am eager to serve you! Warmly, Ann *** Please note: For whichever Rover sitter, boarder, or walker you select, Rover takes out 20% of their income and 100% of the booking fees. I board pups and other pets full-time. I work/school from home so I have plenty of time to walk, play and snuggle. Sometimes we do doggy field trips. We get pup cups and then go to the arboretum or parks. I work with clients to maintain routnines and make our guests feel safe and at home. Dogs are out and about but are crated during transition times or when I need to run out to keep them safe. We take plenty of pics and videos. Communication is key.
About: I’m a UC Davis grad with a degree in Environmental Science who has a deep love for all animals, now working as a Migratory Birds intern with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. I’ve owned, pet-sat, trained, and rescued numerous cats and dogs since the age of 12. My biggest dream is to open an animal rescue one day. I will treat your pets with the utmost care and respect they deserve, just as you would. I gave round of clock care for my senior chihuahua-mix with separation anxiety for years. I am very comfortable and used to caring for animals the way they need. I am comfortable with crating, taking your dog(s) in my car to the park, cuddling and playtime, and following any training you’ve been practicing, while of course taking the upmost care and giving respect to your cherished home.

About: Hi! My name is Tenaya! I grew up around animals and now I have a cat named Gnocchi. I worked as a veterinary assistant for three years, so I'm comfortable with animals of all ages and I'm capable of administering medications. I can also take care of aggressive or anxious dogs, and I’m happy to help reinforce good behavior for pets in training. I also have experience taking care of a range of exotic animals from working at an animal sanctuary. As someone who works from home, I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule! I can usually adjust my work hours to make time for your pet and their needs. I can also generally accept same-day bookings, especially for drop in visits or walks. As someone who has worked with animals for several years, I understand that each pet is unique and may require special care and attention. I really love animals and will do my best to care for your pet as you would!

West Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
Juliana was so patient and caring not only with our girls, but with us as first time Rover users. Her details on the visits along with all of the adorable pictures helped to comfort us and remind us that our kitties were well taken care of. She was open to our tips along the way and was comfortable giving topical meds. I can’t recommend her services enough!

Ally is a deeply caring, conscious person. My puppy and I are so grateful to have found her on Rover! I have a rambunctious 11-week-old puppy who requires constant supervision. Ally made sure he was safe and cared for! I received pictures on Louie sleeping in her lap and enjoying the garden, which delighted me. No hesitation on giving Ally five stars!!

Wen was wonderful to work with. From the very beginning, she was responsive, interested in learning about the girls, and proactive in setting up a meet and greet. She was friendly, professional, asked thoughtful questions, and carefully followed all the instructions I provided. Most importantly, Lua, Cobie, and Libby felt comfortable with her right away, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. When I returned home, everything was exactly as expected and the girls were happy and well cared for. I would not hesitate to book Wen again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.

I can’t say enough good things about Cat. She was able to take care of our cat on short notice and went above and beyond. She sends the best pictures and a thorough update. I feel so comfortable knowing that my cat is getting the best care. 100% will recommend and book again!
Carmen was just the person we needed to give us peace of mind knowing our cat was cared for while we were away for the week. She followed instructions provided, asked follow up questions for clarification when needed, and showed great patience as our cat was quite shy for the first few days.
