About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for many types of dogs, and it has always been more of a passion than a job. I will always care for and love your dog like one of my own! I currently work part-time and am available daily in the afternoons (after about 1 PM) for check-ins, walks, feedings, and more. My schedule is flexible in the early mornings, evenings, and on weekends. I am very detail-oriented and attentive to each pet’s unique needs. I make sure they are well cared for and receive plenty of love and attention. I approach every dog with a calm demeanor, moving at a pace that feels comfortable for them so they can feel safe, relaxed, and at ease in my care.

About: When I was 9, I got my first dog, and that is how I started to be interested in being a vet and take care of dogs. I’m a UCD Animal Science student. My class schedule is not very busy other than Thursdays for this quarter, so I will be home most of the time other than that. I have 3 roommates (2 are also Animal Science students) who also loves animals and knows how to take care of them and have experiences with pets. There will usually be at least 1-2 person at home always. We have plenty of space for your pet to run around in the house, and a yard which we can be taking the dog out for potty breaks.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a teenager. I grew up in a household that always had multiple pets (fish, dogs, hamsters) and have since expanded my love for animals by dog sitting and cat sitting for friends and family in the neighborhood. About: Hello! Thank you for taking the time to read my profile! Now a little bit about me and the care I provide for my clients. I come from a long line of dog lovers. I was raised with pups in the home, and they were a beloved part of our family. Like myself, many family members are in the business of caring for pups in one way or another. I have been professionally taking care of pups on a full-time basis since I retired from teaching in 2020. I have worked with many breeds and specialize in small to medium dogs. I have worked with many pups who are elderly, have anxiety or need medication. Many of my clients are regulars and their pups’ become friends and have fun socializing here. Occasionally, some of my clients prefer to keep their pups separated, particularly if they are elderly, anxious and not social. I have plenty of space and can create secure sections, each with quiet den areas where pups can have their space, yet still be near me and feel safe. In addition, I use soft music to help calm and sooth pups throughout the day. For active dogs that love to play I have a long corridor which is great for indoor fetch! I also have a beautiful path behind my home where we go for long walks. The park is only a short ten-minute walk and I utilize it often. Sometimes I take my pups out for a field trip, and we get a “pup cup” at Starbucks and/or walk around the UCD Arboretum. Safety is my first priority! I work with clients to maintain routnines and make our guests feel safe and at home. Dogs are out and about but are crated during transition times or when I need to run out to keep them safe. About: I’m a UC Davis grad with a degree in Environmental Science who has a deep love for all animals, now working as a Migratory Birds intern with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. I’ve owned, pet-sat, trained, and rescued numerous cats and dogs since the age of 12. My biggest dream is to open an animal rescue one day.
