About: Hi! My name is Tenaya! I grew up around animals and now I have a cat named Gnocchi. I worked as a veterinary assistant for three years, so I'm comfortable with animals of all ages and I'm capable of administering medications. I can also take care of aggressive or anxious dogs, and I’m happy to help reinforce good behavior for pets in training. I also have experience taking care of a range of exotic animals from working at an animal sanctuary. As someone who works from home, I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule! I can usually adjust my work hours to make time for your pet and their needs. I can also generally accept same-day bookings, especially for drop in visits or walks. As someone who has worked with animals for several years, I understand that each pet is unique and may require special care and attention. About: I’ve been training and loving my dog, Rocky, since he was a puppy. He has taught me a lot about what is required to care for a pet. I also interned at a vet hospital in high school which gave me an opportunity to interact with many dogs and cats in a space where most of them were scared so I enjoyed comforting them. Although I can’t preform surgery on your pet, I can show them the care they deserve. As a college student my schedule changes often. For now I am most free, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays after 12pm. Tuesdays and Thursdays I get home a little after 4pm. Weekends I am usually free unless I go home to visit family. I live in an apartment but it has a small fenced yard where your dog could unwind and go potty whenever they need to. If given the opportunity to care for your pet I would also ensure daily walks and other activities for enrichment. There are no other pets in my apartment right now since my dog is living with my parents, so that will give me the chance to focus my attention and energy on your pet!

Therefore, I LOVE interacting with different animals that have their unique characteristics. About: I have owned dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes since I was born. Now, I have worked as a vet assistant for 6 years in both general practice and oncology. I have helped with emergencies for all kinds of breeds and done overnight care several times. I also work and volunteer at shelters consistently so I know how to deal with animal stress. I have never met an animal I didn't love no matter its personality and demeanor so I know they are in good hands. I am a college student but have gaps in my day to go back to my apartment and take them out. I would never leave a pet at home for more than 2 hours and live with just my fiance and I also well equipped in pet care, but I will be doing the caregiving. We set up a meet and greet and several day time visits leading up to the weekend so everyone could get to know each other. By the time we left them, I was confident Marissa could handle both the dogs and the frogs. Everything went smoothly!
Ly was wonderful with Mochi! 🤍 She took such great care of him, accommodated his schedule, and even went the extra mile to introduce a new game to play with him. We really appreciate all the love, attention, and care she gave him. Mochi seemed happy to spend time with her, which gave us so much peace of mind. Xitlalli and her boyfriend were absolute gems and easily among the best pet sitters we’ve ever had. After a terrible experience with a previous sitter that left us genuinely anxious about leaving our dog again, we were pretty nervous. We had also recently lost our second dog to cancer, so leaving our other dog in someone else’s care for over a week was especially hard for us. Thankfully, our meet and greet with Xitlalli and her boyfriend went incredibly well, and we immediately felt comfortable with them. They bonded with him right away and treated him like he was their own. Throughout our trip, they went above and beyond, walking him twice a day, every day, keeping him on his normal routine, and giving him so much love and attention. Their daily updates and photos of our sweet boy gave us so much peace of mind and made being away from him much easier. What meant the most to us though was how thoughtful they were beyond just caring for our dog. When we came home, they had left us flowers and the sweetest card. After everything we had recently been through, that gesture honestly meant so much to us. It really showed us that they care about the people behind the pets they look after too, and that’s something we’ll never forget. They also took wonderful care of our home and left everything spotless. Xitlalli and her boyfriend are kind, reliable, communicative, and genuinely caring people who clearly love animals. We feel incredibly lucky to have found them and will absolutely book with them again. We know we can completely trust them with both our dog and our home. Jordan was wonderful! He helped us at the last minute and took care of our two Labs at our home. He followed directions and kept our home clean. One of our Labs is a challenge sometimes but Jordan took the time to figure him out and they became friends! Thank you Jordan!

Esmerilda was great. I have a senior cat that requires an asthma inhaler twice a day and a dog with an injury that requires management and medication and she took great care of them both. She sent frequent photos throughout the day of them both. She was well equipped to ensure the medication protocol was followed for both pets! I would recommend her and book her again :)
Jenna did an excellent job caring for our Great Pyr and an elderly cat with special needs while we were away. She even dealt with an escaped chicken and an ant problem and the house was left better than she found it. We appreciated how communicative she was and felt like our animals were well taken care of.
Jenny is an outstanding pet sitter! She housesat and watched our dog for a week and she made it so easy for us to relax knowing she holding down the fort at home. She sent us detailed daily messages and photos of our pup and she seemed to get our reactive dog and what she needed right away. She took her on nice long walks and we felt confident in her ability to handle the pulling and barking that usually ensues. Jenny was also so great about remembering every little detail about caring for the house and confirmed with us when packages were brought it, garbage cans taken out to the street, etc. Most of all, she seemed to really gain the trust of our dog and we could see from the pictures and videos that she sent that our dog not only became comfortable with Jenny, she seemed to be having fun, looking happy and cuddling up with her new bud. We really could not have asked for a better sitter and would highly recommend Jenny to anyone looking for a trustworthy, highly competent, communicative sitter.
Rachel's open communication was great. She was upfront with her schedule. There was a misunderstanding due to a booking error in my part, but she remained open to adjusting the booking and doing a meet and greet. I have one senior dog that requires medication and kidney diet. Rachel was able to keep meds and feeding up for us during a trip.
