About: I've had multiple dogs all my life (all shelter rescues of all sizes and temperaments) and cared for them up into their senior years. From unique feeding routines to walks/runs in the early morning, to fetch, tug-of-war, midday potty breaks, and cuddles, I've done it all! I've also raised and fostered several litters of rescue kittens to be adopted, from bottlefeeding to litterbox training and handling practice. I am well learned in cleaning litterboxes, prepping midday snacks, and providing love and attention for kitties of all ages. I provide runs and walks for various dogs several days a week and house-sit on occasion during the summer. I also drop in to play with, feed, or entertain dogs whose families are away for long periods of time during the day. Because each pet is unique, I ensure clear communication of expectations from the pet's family prior to any walking or sitting. I always carefully monitor pets for signs of stress, discomfort, or injury and am prepared to take action in the event of emergencies. I maintain regular communication with pet families when they're out of town (send pictures and updates of their pets) and organize my weekly walking schedule frequently to ensure convenience for both me and the client. About: We are excellent dog, cat, bird, poultry, reptile, and fish caretakers as we have raised most of these, and a few years ago, we had a thriving Rover business taking care of folks' animal babies. We can take care of medications if your pet needs: We have administered medicine to most of the animals on our list, including oral medication for a rooster and injections for a snake. We have had some experience in training our current dog as a service animal. While we have not had the chance to care for farm animals on our own, we love them and have had experience being around them (horses, sheep, goats, cows, pigs, alpaca). Animals, plants, gardens, farms, and home-care are all in our wheelhouse and are the foundations to our lives. If you are looking to have your fur baby stay with us, we have a large home with a fenced backyard. Our German Shepherd loves to play with other dogs, and we take him and our guests to local dog parks or fenced fields to play ball and or frisbee. We take care of our guests exactly how we want our pup to be taken care of! I work part time remotely and part time I will need to be in the field. What that means is a lot of the time, I will be in the home, hanging with your furry, feathered, or scaly baby, working on my laptop. During the times I need to work outside of the home, my 19 year old daughter (who has been doing Rover with me since she was 11) will give the best care in my place. I have a thriving Airbnb business in my home for over a decade, so I have a ton of experience and mindset on home-care: I treat other folks' pets and homes as well as I treat my own. I make it point to keep my clients connected via photos and updates. If I am providing boarding in my home, our 4 year old German Shepherd will love to play with your pup. If I am providing sitting in your home, then my pup will stay home unless requested for a playmate in your home.

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover and proud dog mom to my 6 y/o pandemic pup. I grew up around dogs and have spent years helping care for family dogs. As a dog mom myself, I understand how much our pets mean to us and how important it is to have someone trustworthy caring for them. I know firsthand that sometimes it takes a village, and I love being able to help fellow pet parents feel confident that their dogs are safe, happy, and loved while they're cared for! I’m currently a PhD student studying for my qualifying exams, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to spend a lot of time at home. As a dog mom myself, daily walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and making sure pets feel comfortable are already part of my everyday life. I’m able to plan my work around pet care needs and can provide attentive, consistent care throughout the week. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I try to keep their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. I know being away from their owners can be stressful for some pets, so I make sure they get plenty of attention, care, playtime, walks, and patience while also respecting their individual personalities and boundaries. I understand how important trust and communication are, and I aim to make both pets and pet parents feel comfortable. I’ve always had a good rapport with dogs and know how to work with different energy levels, sizes, temperaments, and comfort needs.

About: When I was 9, I got my first dog, and that is how I started to be interested in being a vet and take care of dogs. I’m a UCD Animal Science student. My class schedule is not very busy other than Thursdays for this quarter, so I will be home most of the time other than that. I have 3 roommates (2 are also Animal Science students) who also loves animals and knows how to take care of them and have experiences with pets. There will usually be at least 1-2 person at home always. We have plenty of space for your pet to run around in the house, and a yard which we can be taking the dog out for potty breaks.

About: I am a student at UC Davis school of Veterinary medicine with training in behavioral modification, emergency medicine, and general animal health and wellness. I also have experience with exotic pets such as birds, reptiles, and small mammals. I am currently out of school on break so I can be very flexible with scheduling. I am willing to make check in trips or stay overnight. I have one pup of my own who lives with two other dogs. Our pups have 24 hrs access to a back yard and get plenty of attention and all the toys they could possibly wish to chew.
