About: Coming from a family of dog lovers, it's hard to imagine a life without dogs! I have always had multiple dogs running under my roof and even have two dogs with me at college! With both a neurotic labradoodle and an elderly beagle, I have plenty of experience dealing with a wide variety of behaviors :) I would love to befriend your furry family members! Available full time during the week. I am between clients at my full time job and will be out of work for several weeks (so I am looking to fill my free time :) ) I am experienced with a wide variety of dog behaviors, especially neurotic and elderly pets. I am also comfortable with administering medicine if needed!! (pills, ear flushes, etc)
“5 star review for Nora, a sitter who was exceptional! Nora was professional and easy to work with. Nora provided excellent care for our dog Olive. In addition, she was an excellent house sitter as well!”

“Hailey did a wonderful job with our two dogs! She managed them very well and took care of them like they were her own :) She sent daily updates and photos, kept our home in good condition, and she took our dogs for walks. She is very responsive and responsible. We would definitely ask Hailey to dog sit our pets again!”

“Alyssa is great. I can always trust her to take care of my senior chihuahua. If you’re looking for someone reliable and trustworthy with your special doggos, I highly recommend her”

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs at all stages of their lives! From birth to old age, I have bottle-fed and waned puppies, kitten sat, as well as administered insulin shots and oral medications to older cats and dogs. One of my kitties now also takes an oral pill twice daily, so I also have some experience giving cats pills :). I am a full-time student who just moved to Davis! I have a flexible schedule, meaning maintaining strict feeding or medication times should be no problem! I make sure all water sources are clean and replaced regularly, food bowls and cans are rinsed/washed immediately to avoid lingering smells, and do a quick walk-through of the pets' spaces to make sure your fur baby(s) didn't get into things they weren't supposed to. I also love plants, so in my own home, i keep them watered and check regularly for if there are new chomps in them and would be very happy to do the same for you if that is at all a concern :). And, of course, I offer plenty of play time with the kitties!
“Chrissy was an awesome house sitter for our energetic, 1-year-old golden/husky mix! She gave regular updates and kept him entertained. Would definitely book again and recommend!”

About: I have a wide range of dog experience. Puppies, seniors, reactive, and medicated ones. I am fear free certified and have taken many animal classes and animal behavior classes for my animal science major. Outside of a classroom setting I have worked in a shelter where I was a medical volunteer. This required me to work with dogs that I had no insight to a lot of the dog’s background and always stayed aware of their behavior. A lot of the bigger dogs I worked with were abused, abandoned, or injured and having to work with animals that have trauma like that is heartbreaking but also can affect their behavior towards people. That being said I had to work with dogs that were more challenging and more often than not were labeled aggressive but were actually just scared. I have house sat friends and families before and always send an absurd amount of photos to owners of their fur baby (that’s at least what I prefer) and I have no problem communicating any uncertainties, questions, or concerns to an owner. I would rather be safe than sorry always. I do not have a lot of senior care experience but would love to learn. I took care of a few cases where there were medications twice daily but I know there are more extreme senior care situations I won’t pretend to know how to do but I am eager to do my research and learn from the owner! Fairly flexible. I am a student and barista. My barista job is part time with the average shift lasting around 4 hours and the absolute most I could be scheduled for is 7hrs but that rarely happens. It is also a flexible job where I can get easy covers if needed or swap shifts. I take the better safe than sorry approach when caring for any pet whether it is someone else’s or my own. I will do my research on something I am unsure about which is the reason I have learned so much about my own pet’s compromised immune system. This is why I will not be housing any pets myself but I have practiced many different bio security measures and feel confident all animals will be safe and happy. I am a big communicator and if I have concerns questions or uncertainties I will not hesitate to just ask.
“Mary was amazing! She made us feel so comfortable leaving our dog with her (our first time leaving him with someone besides family). She sent adorable photos throughout the week. She communicated with us prior to, during and after the house sitting. I think our dog Zac wanted to go home with her! We will definitely call Mary again. So glad we found her! Kathy & Brian & Zac”

“Jaimie was a very responsible and responsive overnight dog sitter. She followed all of the instructions and sent lots of pictures and videos to keep me up to date on what was happening on the home front. I recommend her to anyone who’s looking for pet care!”

“Esmerilda took excellent care of our girl who can be a little shy. She arrived exactly in time and sent frequent updates and pictures during the evening. We will definately contact Esmerilda when we need help again!”

“Crystal was great with our boy and took great care of our home also. She sent regular updates with photos which we of course love. I would highly recommend Crystal and would definitely rebook in the future!”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the genuine love and patience I bring to every pet I care for. I’ve had years of hands-on experience with my own Aussie Doodle, so I understand how much attention, routine, and affection animals need to thrive. I’m very in tune with their emotions and needs, and I treat every pet like family. I also have experience caring for senior dogs, I watched my aunt’s older pup for a week and followed his strict walking and feeding schedule closely, making sure he was comfortable and well cared for. Whether it’s sticking to a routine, providing senior care, or just spending quality time showing pets love and attention, I always go the extra mile to make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and happy. My goal is for every animal to feel just as loved as they would at home. Pet care is a meaningful part of my daily life. I have a five-year-old Aussie Doodle who’s truly a member of the family, and I make it a point every day to ensure she feels loved, cared for, and happy. Whether it’s taking her on walks, playing with her, or simply giving her affection, her well-being is always a priority for me. As a student at UC Davis, I’m constantly surrounded by animals, especially cats and dogs around campus. They often gravitate toward me, and I love taking a moment to give them attention and affection. I also can’t help but smile at every dog I see. I get genuinely excited to meet and pet them, even if just for a moment. Animals bring me joy, and I try to return that love in every interaction. At home, I care for my five-year-old Aussie Doodle every single day. I make sure she’s well-fed, always has fresh water, and of course, gets her favorite treats. We go on walks, play together, and every night, I tuck her into bed, it’s part of our routine and something I truly enjoy. Her happiness and comfort are always my priority. I also cared for my aunt’s senior dog for a week, and it was a very different but equally rewarding experience. He had a strict walking and feeding schedule that I followed closely to keep him comfortable and healthy. I made sure he received plenty of love, attention, and care throughout the day, adjusting to his pace and needs. Whether it's my own pet or someone else’s, I always put in the time and heart to make sure they feel safe, loved, and well taken care of.
“Marissa was both professional and easy going, the perfect combination for a 2-week home stay with our cat and dog. I picked Marissa due to her experience in vet school since we have a senior dog. After our initial meet and greet, I knew she'd be a good fit. Marissa sent updates and photos but we also felt the freedom to focus on our trip knowing our pets were in good hands.”

“Valorie was great! She communicated with me well, sent pictures, and was honest. My pups seem led to have a good time :) Sh is so nice and genuine and took such great care of the house too.”

“We feel so lucky to have found Carey. She house sat for us and took the BEST care of our dog Lily. She sent many, many pictures and videos of our Lily and it made us so happy to see our puppy dog was having such a fun time while we were away. I will definitely have her sit for us again and highly recommend her.”

“The best gift when you can't take your companions on a trip is to know someone will take care of them and give you a peace of mind. Ashley did. She is amazing and is a great communicator. I left behind a 14 year old blob and a 6 years skittish lab and I was worried about the younger pup. It was the 14 year old senior that kept Ashley up at night. Ashley kept me posted on the situation, we kept the communication open to make sure Hunter is ok. Things happened but the best way to know how awesome your substitute is, is to experience their problem solving ability. Ashley got everything under control. I highly recommend Ashley and would love to get her help again. She is definitely more than 5 stars rating.”

“Thank you Megan for caring for Quin! We appreciate your promptness, excellent communication, and love for our mutt (who after 12 years is still learning to show love back).”

Oeste Manor pet parents share their Rover experiences
Our dog and cat were very happy when we returned and Ally was a great housesitter for a few nites. She got the animals out during the day and spent time cuddling them at night. The house was as tidy when we returned as when we left. She was attentive to our dogs needs for walks, even in wet weather, and sent us photos. Thank you Ally!
Mary was amazing! Kathy & Brian & Zac

Great cat sitter from start to finish. Nayzeth followed all instructions perfectly, provided consistent updates, and clearly understands cat behavior as she does have 2 of her own. Boots, who is usually shy, warmed up quickly, which says a lot and everything was neat and tidy when I returned.

Nikki is amazing - she had an injury and still was willing to housesit and dog sit for our two sensitive dogs. Her communication is excellent, our house is in impeccable, and most importantly, our dogs are happy and healthy. Thank you, Nikki, for being such an amazing dogsitter!

This was the second time Carey house sat for us and took care of our puppy dog Lily. She is absolutely amazing with Lily. She makes it so easy to be away on a trip/mini vacation without worry or stress knowing that my dog and house are being taken care of. We are so thankful we found her. I highly recommend her.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Alex! From the moment we left the country, we felt completely at ease knowing our boys were in such good hands. The daily photos and updates meant the world to us and it was clear that Alex truly cared for them. Our boys absolutely loved her company! On top of that, coming back to a spotless home was such a thoughtful surprise and made our return so much smoother. We are beyond grateful and would recommend Alex to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional pet sitter. If you’re considering booking her, don’t hesitate, just do it! Thanks again for everything, Alex!
