“Nora is very reliable and our dog Bailey took to her right away. We received regular updates and had the peace of mind that our home and pet were in good hands while we were away.”

“Audrey was incredibly communicative in specialized instructions for my anxious dog! She was very caring of all the pets, and I would absolutely recommend her for any pet sitting services.”

About: I’m currently a 4th year wildlife fish and conservation biology major at University California Davis, on the wildlife health tract. I am hoping to go to veterinary school and have a wide range of experience primarily in horses, dogs and cats, as well as some reptiles such as leopard geckos and chameleons! Ive done veterinary clinics with UC Davis which has given me more in depth knowledge on canine and feline behavior. I am also on their foal team. I have experience with giving injections to both reptiles, cats, and dogs so If your pet needs any extra care, I will happily do so. Im Outgoing and love going on new adventures with my cats and dogs. This past summer, I went to Africa for a zoological and veterinary medicine internship (without either of my pets) but it was an amazing experience. Besides school, I have grown up my whole life with multiple cats, reptiles, and small rodents; and recently in the past eight years have adopted two large dogs (a Berner and a maremma sheep dog). I’m looking forward to meeting your furry family :) I currently have wide gaps between my classes at school, which will allow me to spend a lot of extra time caring for your pet. I currently have a cat of my own who I dedicate all my money and time to. She’s my baby. I currently just have my cat at school who has many toys to keep her occupied when I’m not at home. But when I am home she’s constantly on my lap and getting cuddles. I will do the exact same out of my own home as well, all furry friends deserve some snuggles. I am also completely comfortable with crating or moving your pets to their desired space for the day or evening
“Alyssa is great. I can always trust her to take care of my senior chihuahua. If you’re looking for someone reliable and trustworthy with your special doggos, I highly recommend her”

“Negin was an excellent cat-sitter - prompt, responsible, attentive to detail, a good communicator with cats and humans alike. She immediately vibed with our eccentric kitties and won their trust. We returned to happy cats and a clean house. Many thanks, Negin!”

“Suhani is such a wonderful person. She was active with our two dogs, walking them daily and was flexible and helpful when our travel plans got delayed. We came home to a clean house and she navigated our backyard project, sending us updates all the while dealing with not having a yard for the dogs to go out in. I highly recommend Suani, though we’d like to keep her for ourselves.”

About: I’ve taken care of all my pets growing up, showering, walking, playing with and training them. I’ve taken care of friends dogs aswell, by walking them and tending to there needs such a feeding walking, etc. Im currently a university student at UC Davis, and have lots of free time on Thursday, Friday, and weekends. I would love being around pets to also allow me some down time since animals also ease stress!! I have a lot of free time and would love to dog sit!! I live in an apartment that has a lot of open fields for running outside of the apartment, and since we’re in Davis there are so many nice parks around here!
“We really enjoy having Marissa come to our house and take care of our dog. She is always dependable and takes good care of them so you aren't stressing leaving them with someone.”

“Jiajie was SUPBERB! She gave outstanding care to our puppy! Our puppy had a fantastic time with her (and her sweet dogs). Her communication, while we traveled overseas, was top-notch!!! She was beyond the best- highly highly highly recommend her and will definitely book with her again!”

“Adelaide did an amazing job watching over our dog and cat! We were away for 5 days on vacation and Adelaide made it easer being away from them for so long. We knew they were in good hands!.. Will definitely be booking her again!”

“Lauren was awesome! Got my picky/spoiled dog to eat, which usually doesn't happen when I'm away. Josie seemed to be happy and well taken care of. I would definitely book with Lauren again.”

“Nicole was wonderful with our Aldo!!! She is a true dog lover and cared for him as if he was her own. She was also extremely flexible, when we had to ask her to come 6 hours earlier than the original scheduled start time!! Nicole made sure our boy had fun, got his allergy medication, and stayed busy to keep him from missing us too much which we so appreciate!! We will 100% be booking Nicole again ??”

“Meredith took great care of my 3 boys while we were off island (1 dog,2 cats). I came back to a clean house and she even took my dog on his morning walk the morning we arrived back so I could go straight to bed after flying all night. My boys said they were very well taken care of and had a fun week with their new Auntie Meredith!”

“Chrissy accepted a very last minute request to watch two of my dogs. She took time to do the meet and greet even though it was last minute. Chrissy was wonderful and will definitely recommend. You can tell she has a love of animals and that shows in how she cared for them. She communicated often and send lots of pics while we were away. Thank you Chrissy!”

About: I currently work for VipPet care as a veterinary clinic assistant and have experience working in doggy daycare environments. I also volunteer at the shelters in Sacramento and have been volunteering at other shelters for the past 5 years. I have also taken care of many animals throughout my life, including dogs (all ages), cats, turtles, hamsters, fish, and rabbits. Through these experiences I have learned to work with animals of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. I pride myself on finding a way to communicate effectively with both pet and parent to find what works best for everyone. Working with animals has been the most fulfilling experiences I have ever had. I absolutely adore all animals and I would love to help you out with your animal needs. I work as a vet assistant three times a week, so animals are part of my daily routine. This means I have plenty of time during the week to plan my schedule around feeding times, walks, play, and any special needs to make sure each pet gets the attention and care they deserve. When caring for pets in your home, I prioritize their comfort, safety, and routine. I make sure to follow all instructions provided by the pet parent, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, medication, and preferred routines. I will take time to build trust with each pet, whether it’s through gentle play, regular walks, or just keeping them company. I maintain a clean, calm environment and give each pet plenty of attention, love, and care. Communication is also important to me, I will provide updates and photos so pet parents feel reassured while they’re away. Working in the vet field has given me experience giving oral and injectable medications if needed as well.
Aspen pet parents share their Rover experiences
Jennifer was great! She did what we asked for and even more, which we appreciated. We received updates throughout the day and she got my Husky so tired that she doesn’t even want to get up for treats lol. We are working on our pup’s separation anxiety, so it was nice being able to count on Jennifer. We will definitely be booking again. Our pup gives her 5 stars too lol 🐶

Chrissy went above and beyond when house sitting our energetic and mischievous 13-month-old golden retriever/Siberian husky mix for one week! She is very experienced with all kinds of dogs, is reliable, and gave regular updates. Thanks so much for your time and diligence Chrissy!! Would highly recommend her!

Our dog and cat were very happy when we returned and Ally was a great housesitter for a few nites. She got the animals out during the day and spent time cuddling them at night. The house was as tidy when we returned as when we left. She was attentive to our dogs needs for walks, even in wet weather, and sent us photos. Thank you Ally!
Nikki is amazing - she had an injury and still was willing to housesit and dog sit for our two sensitive dogs. Her communication is excellent, our house is in impeccable, and most importantly, our dogs are happy and healthy. Thank you, Nikki, for being such an amazing dogsitter!

This was the second time Carey house sat for us and took care of our puppy dog Lily. She is absolutely amazing with Lily. She makes it so easy to be away on a trip/mini vacation without worry or stress knowing that my dog and house are being taken care of. We are so thankful we found her. I highly recommend her.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Alex! From the moment we left the country, we felt completely at ease knowing our boys were in such good hands. The daily photos and updates meant the world to us and it was clear that Alex truly cared for them. Our boys absolutely loved her company! On top of that, coming back to a spotless home was such a thoughtful surprise and made our return so much smoother. We are beyond grateful and would recommend Alex to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional pet sitter. If you’re considering booking her, don’t hesitate, just do it! Thanks again for everything, Alex!
