“Wen is amazing caretaker. I felt happy and at ease with having my cats with her. She made sure they were comfortable, loved, well fed and happy in their stay. Definitely getting her again in the future. Recommend to any pet parent.”

“Achara provides the absolute best care for our dog! He comes home happy and healthy. I love the good communication, care for our dog, and extra accommodation on a short notice when we couldn’t make it home on time. Truly Odie’s favorite home away from home!”

“A bit hard to review as there wasn’t much overlapping time to be with Memha. Her home is quite rural and surrounded by orchards with a large fenced yard so visually very appealing Memha and her husband were very sweet and volunteered to come into town to both pick up and return our dog back to us; very thoughtful! Our dog came home tired which we loved!”

“Cindy took wonderful care of Norman! She was very conscientious with his care, communicated well, and sent great pictures. Norman has a difficult temperament sometimes, but Cindy made him comfortable in her home and was able to reliably give him his medication. I would definitely trust her with your pets!”

“I give Lena my highest recommendation as a dog sitter! I am writing this review in reference to our experiences on two separate occasions. The first time we had Lena sit for our dog Daisy (a 4 yo pit mix) was a great experience. We always look for someone to watch Daisy who enjoys spending time with her and wants to have fun and Lena went above and beyond by not only taking Daisy on walks but also all sorts of hikes and adventures (we even got a cool photo of her wearing sunglasses!). Lena also dealt with some issues of Daisy having to go potty in the middle of the night very competently and professionally. She watched Daisy for 11 days and Daisy was well taken care of and happy when we picked her back up. The second time we had scheduled with Lena to watch Daisy for one night and Lena had a family emergency come up (a totally valid reason to cancel). Instead of simply leaving it to us to find a backup, Lena helped coordinate with her roommate to watch Daisy, which worked out great. Lena that she is not only able to take great care of dogs, but she is also a thoughtful and responsible person.”

“Jiajie was absolutely amazing! She took such great care of my puppy and was incredibly attentive the whole time. She sent me tons of updates, photos, and videos every day, which made me feel so reassured and at ease while I was away. Communication was super smooth — she was always responsive, friendly, and patient, and you can really tell she genuinely cares about the dogs she looks after. My puppy was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for when I picked her up. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Highly recommend Jiajie to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and responsible. I would 100% book with her again!”

“Jessie has become Edward’s home away from home. He’s very comfortable with her and always happy to see her. She’s very observant about changes in his behavior and is very caring and patient with him. He’s so much happier staying with her than in a boarding kennel.”

“Annie was great with my nervous dog. Annie responded quickly to my messages as we prepared for my dog's stay with her, and sent me pictures while my dog was in her care.”

“This was Bristol’s first overnight boarding, and Alayna went above and beyond to make the experience as smooth as possible. She met with us in person beforehand to ensure that Bristol and Jake could get to know each other, which made the transition much easier. Alayna is incredibly considerate and maintained clear, consistent communication throughout the entire process. Her warm and attentive approach gave us peace of mind and made Bristol’s stay truly comfortable.”

“Ann was very thoughtful and caring with our two senior dogs over a holiday weekend. She was communicative and flexible on pickup time with us. She prefers dogs that are crate-trained, ok with kids and other dogs, and will ask for evidence of vaccinations. Thanks, Ann!”

“We love having April as our go-to sitter! It had been almost six months since we’ve traveled anywhere, and while packing to leave was a challenge, at least we could check off not worrying about dog care. Thank you for always taking such great care of Dora!”

“I wasn't sure my dog Max would want to come back home after spending time with Mayra and all the beings in her warm and comforting home. Her kind and gentle nature put us all at ease.”

“What a great team Marie & James made! Our senior pet is an active part of our family. We were so worried he wouldn’t understand our being away on a vacation without him. Upon meeting Marie and James, our Cooper seemed comfortable immediately. Their calm and openly friendly attitude was apparent. True to their word, daily pictures and videos were sent with texts. Their experience with older dogs and administering of medications was a relief. Can’t thank or praise them enough. Super nice people. Thank you! Cooper thanks you as well.”

“I highly recommend Pandi and her husband Tim. They both work from home and we’re very attentive to the details of my dog’s care. Their two school-age kids and little dog Scruffy made for a fun, active stay. I appreciated the photos and updates too.”

“I was out of town for about a month and Reginay was amazing taking care of my Aussie "Nac. She keeps me updated every day with photos and videos. Nac came home in great condition after more than 3 weeks of boarding. Highly recommended!”

“Juliana was the best! She was very great with my kitties and they seemed to trust her right away. I had no fears about their care while I was away. She followed all the care plan and advice I gave her. I really appreciated all the picture updates she included. Very great at communicating and understanding. Would book again!”

“Ally was so great taking care of our senior cat. He needs medication and some extra care so having Ally give him the right attention was important to us. Ally gave us detailed updates and pictures throughout our vacation which helps us know our cat is well taken care of. Highly recommend Ally for any pet care.”

“Kelly remains the greatest. I’m confident in her knowledge and ability to care for my kitty girls; she sends MANY pictures each visit; her reports leave me assured she is paying careful attention to them. Will very happily hire her again.”

“Jenna is an incredibly nice woman who took wonderful care of my cat while I was gone. She was super professional, prompt, communicative, and was committed to following care instructions super closely. It was also apparent that she loves animals, and my cat seemed to love her, too. I wouldn’t hesitate to trust Jenna with my fur baby again!”

“Megan was fantastic with my cat Norman. Norman is a diabetic cat who can be aggressive with strangers when they try to give insulin, so it's often tough to find sitters who can manage him. I was so happy with how patient and compassionate Megan was with him. She was extremely reliable and a great communicator, and was able to make sure he got his insulin on time everyday. I would really highly recommend Megan, you can definitely trust her to take great care of your pet!”

“Lucy is kind, trustworthy, and very competent. She has sat for my cat twice now, and I know she treats my pet well because my cat is always friendly to her when she comes to return my key. I wholeheartedly recommend her.”

“Jessie is wonderful to have as our pet sitter! She communicates well and was so great with Oslo. She is totally trustworthy and we will definitely be calling upon her again!”

“Cindy took wonderful care of Norman! She was very conscientious with his care, communicated well, and sent great pictures. Norman has a difficult temperament sometimes, but Cindy made him comfortable in her home and was able to reliably give him his medication. I would definitely trust her with your pets!”

“Audrey did an awesome job watching my cats, I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. My cats loved Audrey back, as evidenced by pics of them crawling all over Audrey, lol! The litter box was clean, and they were fed and happy when I got home too, just like I was hoping. Audrey was kind and pleasant to be in contact with.”

“Esmerilda is a phenomenal cat sitter! I am so grateful for her careful attention to detail and her loving care for our pets. She made our cats comfortable, which meant a lot to us since they are anxious when we are away. I highly recommend booking her!”

“Tate was an exceptional petsitter going above and beyond to help us out. We forgot our tickets to a show at home and she was able to help us out by taking pictures of them. She also sent us lots of pictures of our cats while we were away. We came back and I could tell the cats had been taken care of very well. Highly recommend!!”

About: Animals have been at the heart of my life for as long as I can remember. Raised on a farm and on a pre-vet track from a young age, I’ve spent decades caring for animals of all kinds—from house pets to livestock to wildlife. Starting at 14, I volunteered in local vet clinics and wildlife rehab centers, gaining hands-on experience with everything from cats and dogs to peacocks, horses, goats, snakes, fish, birds, and cattle. At UC Davis, I deepened my care skills while working at the world-renowned Vet Hospital, tending to cats and dogs during the swing shift. I also worked with campus goats, pigs, sheep, fish, cattle, and horses—and even fostered cats for the hospital. Now in my 30s, I’m an education professional and dedicated pet mom to both cats and dogs. I continue to care for friends’ and neighbors’ pets with the same compassion, attention, and responsibility that’s guided me my whole life. I’m certified in Cat & Dog CPR & First Aid, and Infant, Child, and Adult CPR/AED/First Aid, and have emergency care experience with animals large and small. I’m calm under pressure, reliable, and always communicate clearly—your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I'm currently taking a break from teaching, and being a full-time stay-at-home mama to my 2.5 year old daughter. I have plenty of time to care for your furry family member. Please note that at this time, we are seeking families whose pets are comfortable around toddlers and children. I have a fully fenced yard, and a park just around the corner from my house for those whose furry friends enjoy a stretch, walk, or playtime! I am comfortable using a crate, and we have plenty of floor room in the house (carpet and laminate) for them to lay down if they're not crate trained. We do not allow dogs on the furniture. Cats are allowed to wander the house. We are more than happy to put up child gates to keep your furry family member in certain areas of the house if they're prone to getting into things (such as stuffed animals for the kiddos... I mean really, a lot of doggie toys these days look so similar! I'd understand the misconception. lol) We're not afraid to be firm but kind if your family member needs set boundaries.
“Great Doggy Daycare! Annie took wonderful care of my dog, Shiloh, during daycare. She was kind, professional, and kept great communication. Shiloh came home happy and relaxed, which tells me everything I need to know! I highly recommend Annie. Randy & Shiloh 🐾”

“April was great. She really took time to ask a lot of questions to get familiar with Romeo. Romeo is somewhat of a high maintenance dog due to his face folds and food allergies. She kept in contact sending updates on how he was doing as well as lots of pics. Romeo looked like he really had a good time. I have already booked another stay for Romeo with April. 🤗”

About: Hello, my name is Esmerilda. I graduated from UC Davis with a B.S. in Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology and am in search of dog walking, training, bathing, and pet sitting positions to help me pay off student loans. Aspiring veterinarians usually know they have a special gift with animals as a child, as I discovered at the age of 7. Thus, I have been involved in the husbandry of my own dogs, cats, and exotic animals the majority of my life! Due to my extensive experience as a lab animal technician, kennel attendant, and shelter volunteer, I have 6 years of professional experience in animal husbandry. During the year of the notorious Camp Fire, I worked as a veterinary assistant at the UC Davis Veterinary Medicine Teaching Hospital to 4th year veterinary students with disabilities during their clinical year. As their "right hand woman", I provided various accommodations for physical and intellectual limitations in order to facilitate their success. I was directly involved with the treatment of animal patients in ophthalmology, cardiology, community practice, community surgery, companion avian and pet exotics, dentistry, dermatology, internal medicine, neurology, shelter medicine & surgery, anesthesia, behavior, and nutrition. For several years, I also gained technical skills as a veterinary assistant in small veterinary hospitals and for the nonprofit Mercer Clinic for the Pets of the Homeless. Thus, I am exceptionally knowledgeable in the field of veterinary medicine. At the client's request, I also offer one on one obedience training on walks, baths, nail trimming, syringe feeding, and transportation to veterinary appointments for an additional charge (not listed). I have committed my 'gap year' before veterinary school to providing my sevices on Rover- ensuring your pet receives the highest quality of care and love while you are away. Please do not hesitate in contacting me so I may meet my new fur (or scaled or feathered) buddy. Thank you for your time and consideration :) ANIMALS ARE MY LIFE. NO, SERIOUSLY! I work full time an animal caretaker unless my calendar is marked as I'm unavailable because I scheduled a vacation to combat caretaker fatigue, I am available, 24 (like Kobe) hours , 7 days a week , rain and shine ! 🌞 I am an observant, vigilant pet owner myself and strive to go above and beyond in maintaining a secure and clean environment for your animal(s) as well. I have experience adhering to strict animal protocols within both veterinary hospital and laboratory settings, thus applying these skills as your animal caretake/technician within your home. Please notify me if your pet is an escape artist, uses a crate, what your boundaries are (i.e. furniture or specific areas off-limits), if your pet uses an e-collar or GPS collar, and the like! As always, your dog gets my full attention—walks are always private and limited to dogs from the same household.

“Kate is very dependable! I was on vacation for few weeks and nothing compares to the peace of mind you have when you know that there’s someone taking good care of your fur baby. She became my dog’s second mom while I was away. She sends me photo of my dog every walk and my fur baby always looks excited, happy and contented. Will definitely recommend her. About: We are excellent dog, cat, bird, poultry, reptile, and fish caretakers as we have raised most of these, and a few years ago, we had a thriving Rover business taking care of folks' animal babies. We can take care of medications if your pet needs: We have administered medicine to most of the animals on our list, including oral medication for a rooster and injections for a snake. We have had some experience in training our current dog as a service animal. While we have not had the chance to care for farm animals on our own, we love them and have had experience being around them (horses, sheep, goats, cows, pigs, alpaca). Animals, plants, gardens, farms, and home-care are all in our wheelhouse and are the foundations to our lives. If you are looking to have your fur baby stay with us, we have a large home with a fenced backyard. Our German Shepherd loves to play with other dogs, and we take him and our guests to local dog parks or fenced fields to play ball and or frisbee. We take care of our guests exactly how we want our pup to be taken care of! I work part time remotely and part time I will need to be in the field. What that means is a lot of the time, I will be in the home, hanging with your furry, feathered, or scaly baby, working on my laptop. During the times I need to work outside of the home, my 19 year old daughter (who has been doing Rover with me since she was 11) will give the best care in my place. I have a thriving Airbnb business in my home for over a decade, so I have a ton of experience and mindset on home-care: I treat other folks' pets and homes as well as I treat my own. I make it point to keep my clients connected via photos and updates. If I am providing boarding in my home, our 4 year old German Shepherd will love to play with your pup. If I am providing sitting in your home, then my pup will stay home unless requested for a playmate in your home.

“Eva has been an amazing dog walker. Is clear from the daily photos of their adventures that our dogs are having a fun time and love being with her. We’d absolutely use Eva again to walk our dogs.”

“Esmerilda is an absolutely fantastic person and cares immensely for our dog. She has been our weekly dog walker for a little over 6 months--Our dog is a rescue and was quite difficult in the beginning, but Esmerilda has done a lot to help train and rehabilitate her. She also has done house sitting for us. I'd definitely recommend her to anyone who needs help with their dogs.”

I absolutely love dogs and cats, and am willing to care for your pets with the same attention that I give my own animals! I am mobile and am able to make multiple visits to your animal in a single day, as well as take them on multiple trips and/or walks if need be. I’m a recent UC Santa Cruz graduate with a degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, and I’m currently looking for wildlife technician jobs as well as applying to grad school. I’m a part time caregiver at the moment so I have plenty of time to care for your pets! I make sure to ask all the right questions in case of emergency and for the comfort of the pets. I like to get written lists of everything that needs to be done while the owners are away, this helps with any clarifying questions I may have!

From the start, they treated him like their own, and we couldn’t have been happier with the care he received. We loved the frequent updates and adorable pictures that kept us at ease while he stayed with them. It’s clear they genuinely care about the dogs they look after.
