It quickly became obvious that she wasn’t just watching him, she genuinely cared about him. She took the time to learn his personality, celebrate his milestones, and even pointed out little behaviors that helped me become a better dog owner. She introduced him to her dogs slowly and safely, and before long they were playing together like old friends. Seeing my puppy build confidence, socialize appropriately, and genuinely enjoy himself meant the world to me. She even noticed that Tonka learned to ring the bell when he needed to go outside and made sure to reinforce that behavior. What impressed me most was her attention to detail. She kept his bedding clean, cleaned his eyes daily, monitored his potty habits, let me know about behaviors that needed training, and adapted her routine to fit what worked best for him. She didn’t just tell me everything was perfect, she gave me honest updates and thoughtful observations, which I really appreciated. By the end of his stay, it honestly seemed like Tonka had become part of the family. She told me she was sad to see him leave, and I could tell the feeling was mutual. As an owner, that’s incredibly reassuring. About: Hi! My name is Faith Tupin and I am a substitute Paraeducator in the Davis school district, babysitter and grad school student. I grew up on a ranch with dogs, cats, chickens, goats, and sheep. I have volunteered at my local animal shelter off and on for a few years and was in 4-H for many years. I have experience with extremely large dogs to tea cup chihuahuas, three legged dogs, dogs needing end of life care (medication administration, pet inhalers), puppies who haven’t been house trained and even service animals. I was taught how to do CPR on dogs even though i’ve never had to put my skills to use. I am active and I love long walks. I am also very clean and will make sure your house looks great when I leave. I currently am working part time and am also able to make my own schedule. This allows me to be flexible and take on additional responsibilities. I always talk to the owners to ensure that I am following their routine and keeping an eye out for any bad habits the dog may have- chewing on cords, digging by fences. I am aware of what food is toxic to dogs and never leave it out. I avoid other dogs on walks and look out for unknown food on the sidewalks that they may be tempted to eat.

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs at all stages of their lives! From birth to old age, I have bottle-fed and waned puppies, kitten sat, as well as administered insulin shots and oral medications to older cats and dogs. One of my kitties now also takes an oral pill twice daily, so I also have some experience giving cats pills :). I am a full-time student who just moved to Davis! I have a flexible schedule, meaning maintaining strict feeding or medication times should be no problem! I make sure all water sources are clean and replaced regularly, food bowls and cans are rinsed/washed immediately to avoid lingering smells, and do a quick walk-through of the pets' spaces to make sure your fur baby(s) didn't get into things they weren't supposed to. I also love plants, so in my own home, i keep them watered and check regularly for if there are new chomps in them and would be very happy to do the same for you if that is at all a concern :). And, of course, I offer plenty of play time with the kitties!

My journey began with adopting my first dog, a lively mixed breed, which ignited my passion for animal welfare. About: **I don't charge for additional pets!! I’ve always been an animal enthusiast growing up in the country I did whatever I could to be around animals constantly. In our home we had four dogs, two hamsters, a corn snake, a half-blind horse, countless hermit crabs, and a parakeet. There is truly no animal I don't love and won't do my best to care for. Growing up with these animals I've had the privilege to be there when they were puppies/kittens/babies all the way through the end of their life, so I have extensive experience with care in every life stage. I've carried that love and passion with me into adulthood. As an adult I've worked for a year as a kennel technician at a humane society enriching, socializing, training, and advocating for dogs, cats, and small animals. I also regularly volunteer time at humane societies when I can and regularly foster cats, to date I've successfully fostered over 10 cats who are now all in happy homes. Through fostering I've experienced some harder care cases. Including fostering 3 week old sick kittens requiring syringe feedings, multiple medications, and detailed weight tracking. I've also had the privilege of fostering a hospice case who required food, liquid, and medication administration through an e-tube along with extensive monitoring. No matter what kind of care your pet needs I will do my best to ensure they receive the love, respect, and attention they deserve. I look forward to helping you and your furry (and maybe scaly) family members! I'm avaliable for drop-ins, boarding, and walking M-F after 2:30 PM! I can also do breakfast drop-ins during the week between 5:00-5:30 AM, or earlier if need be. I'm open and available most weekends for all pet care, I keep my schedule updated 3 months out! “Jeffrey and Jennifer were great with my pup. They gave me updates throughout his who stay and made me feel reassured that he was safe and cared for. Every picture they sent, he literally looked so happy lol. They were very flexible with drop off and pick up times as well :) would definitely book with them again”

“Alexis and her family were absolutely wonderful with our dog Rio. This was our first time using this type of boarding service an I was a bit nervous. Her husband greeted me when I dropped Rio off and was so nice and easy going. It made me instantly feel at ease. During Rio’s stay, Alexis sent pictures and videos of Rio having the time of his life. One of my kids said “Do you think he’s even going to want come home” LOL. If you want your dog to be loved and treated like part of of a family while you’re gone I HIGHLY recommend using Alexis and her family!! 10/10 in my book!”
