“Robert has been walking Lucy daily and would definitely recommend him! Really thankful to have Robert taking care of my dog, especially during the summer in the heat. Robert is an excellent communicator and very thoughtful person.”

“Andrea was great meeting both my pups for the first time! She asked questions about needs and anything important that would be helpful for walks or interactions with other animals/people. Introducing new people to a household can be stressful sometimes on pets, and my older pet can get protective. However, Andrea was super patient and understanding when it came to my slow introduction process. I appreciate her time and love for pets!”

“Valerie was great! She was easy to work with to set up our meet and greet and then a few visits. She was very communicative both before and during the visits. Our dog was not feeling great, and Valerie took extra care with her and helped us feel okay with being away. We definitely hope to use Valerie's pet services again!”

“Katie was very easy to work with! She was responsive and very willing to handle our older pup who needs to be carried. She kept me in the loop how things went. We would for sure use her again!”

“Chase is the best dog walker Ive ever had! His love of animals is obvious. He’s personable, trustworthy and goes above and beyond what is expected of him. I thank my ‘lucky stars’ I found him!”

“Chris was great! My dog Woody was very happy with his experience and so was I. Communication was easy, and he made sure to give my dog lots of love and attention. Thanks Chris!”

“Tiffani is just wonderful! Upon meeting, she took notes about both dogs. Shes been walking them 2-4 times per week now for about 6 weeks. They adore her! Her notes and photos are perfect.”

About: Like many other families, I grew up with dogs. But I really stepped into a caretaker role when I adopted my dog, Todd! He’s 11 and I’ve had him for 10 years! From training him as a pup, to now transitioning into senior care, my experience and the with him has taught me so much. I just moved to the city so my availability is completely open! I understand how important it is for a pet to be on a schedule for care, so I’m really flexible and understanding! Every pet has their own unique needs and behaviors. I have a lot of experience with dogs (and some cats), I feel confident that with clear communication, I can give your beloved pet the love and care they need!

“great communications, right on time, dogs were happy and felt good to go with Walter, who has a very calm energy. Will hire again if we are back in Chicago.”

About: Hey! My name is Sara. Thanks for considering my profile. Here’s a little about me: I’m a 33 year old single mom of two, and full time student at DePaul. I’m also a US Army Veteran, and as someone who’s always had a dog (or three), I love dogs. I have experience around a variety of breeds, from pit bulls to chihuahuas. I’m comfortable administering oral medication, and I’m comfortable around dogs that require special attention due to illnesses and old age. I’m comfortable watching more than one dog in your home at a time, as well as bathing them while I’m there, if requested. I hope to hear from you soon! I can’t wait to meet your fur-babies! I’m a student so when I’m not in class I’ll have plenty of time to care for your pups! I’m all about flexibility and finding ways to meet your needs in a way that works with both our schedules! I am a renter so at this time I’m not offering pet sitting in my home. I’m more than happy to care for pets in your home and follow whatever instructions you may have for them

About: Hi there, my name is Diana and I love being around animals. Pets have so much to say without words and I love listening to their body language and cues to give them what they need. I grew up with a great dog, Snickers, who I loved to walk and play with. I am a cat mom to a senior cat (15 years) who is my world. I have cat sit for other senior cats with needs and am familiar with using a cat inhaler and giving pills. My schedule is very open. I can go on long walks and give frequent potty breaks. I'm here to help! I'm currently on the job market so that means I have plenty of time to play with your pets, provide feeding, or even house sitting. I will ensure the safety of your pet while on walks, always aware of my environment and being sensitive to the pet's needs. For home visits I’m great at keeping your house tidy while giving attention to your pets.

About: Recently, a friend introduced me to her pet who she'd warned barks like crazy and often scares people. When I arrived, she got her barks out within a minute or two. My friend said she was being so good with me. I have a calm energy that animals seem to feel at peace around, so a your pet should feel right at ease with me when we meet for the first time. Can't wait to walk your precious angel! I work remotely, full time. I'd love to take dogs on walks during my work day or work from home at your residence while you are out of town and need someone to watch your baby! I do not have any pets of my own, but was recently approved to foster so I'm excited for that to change! Even when I do foster, I won't be bringing fosters around any pets I'm walking as this is the policy of where I foster. I'm a very neat person, and if I'm spending time in your home, I try to leave the space feeling like I was never there!

Irving Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
Grace was amazing with my dog, Princess! From the very start, she was kind, professional, and super attentive. Princess can be a little picky about new people, but she warmed up to Grace right away, which says a lot. Grace gave her a great walk, made sure she got plenty of exercise, and even sent me updates and pictures so I could see how much fun Princess was having. It gave me total peace of mind knowing my pup was in such good hands. I can’t recommend Grace enough! Definitely booking with her again!

We’ve been lucky enough to have Arlene as our dog walker for the past year, and she’s truly even better than all the glowing reviews say! Our pup is the sweetest, but also pretty anxious, and Arlene understood her right from the start. We completely trust her with our dog’s safety and care, and she always keeps us in the loop with real-time updates. Plus, she shares thoughtful tips and suggestions that really make a difference. We are so grateful to have found her!
