“Sharon and her family have kept our gang (Bella, Chloe and Tucker) several times now for both short overnight trips and 10+ day trips. I found Sharon after having a not so great Rover experience so we were skeptical. She let us take our gang for a get to know you visit before actually booking her. She and Chad have been wonderful to work with and our dogs love going to their house. They even got baths after their most recent visit because they played in the mud and had a ball! And their blankets always come home freshly washed. Sharon stays in touch while we are away and sends pics regularly. She has been accommodating when we wanted to add extra days to our trip. Her and her family love our gang like their own.”

I’ve had dogs as pets in the past, so I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and attentive to care for them. I’ve also personally used Rover for my own pets’ care, so I know what pet owners are hoping for when they leave their animals with someone else: clear communication, reliability, patience, and genuine kindness. I work in education, which has made me calm, responsible, flexible, and very attentive to individual needs and routines. Whether your pet is energetic, anxious, playful, shy, or just wants a calm companion nearby, I’m happy to meet them where they are and help them feel comfortable and safe. I’m comfortable following feeding schedules, medication instructions, walking routines, and any specific care requests. I also love sending updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away. Your pets are family, and I’ll care for them with the same attention and respect I would want for my own. I am a teacher so I am at home for the summer. Your pet will have many opportunities to go outside during the day in a fenced yard, we can play in the yard, and we will have time for two walks a day. When pets are at my home, they can make themselves comfortable! They are allowed on all the furniture, I have a large screened in porch, and there is a fenced yard. I spend most of my day at home, so they will have company and time to go outside.

“Sidney provided a great experience for Charlie and for us. Her house and fenced-in yard are ideal for dogs. Her dog, Pearl, is very relaxed and is a great companion for dogs of all sorts of temperaments. Charlie got plenty of outdoor playtime and even enjoyed wading in the doggie pool. We especially appreciated the fact that Sidney creates a SAFE environment for counter surfers like our dog. The updates and photos we got gave us the peace of mind to enjoy our vacation. Sidney is a great communicator and listener. I could tell that she completely understood everything I told her about Charlie and his quirks. We will definitely use her again in the future.”

About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember! I was a pet sitter via word of mouth in Florida but I just moved here so I'm trying to find new clients! I’ve cared for a variety of pets, from exotics (chinchillas, ferrets, squirrels, opossums, etc) to reptiles, rodents, dogs, and cats. I fostered exotics for three years before college and have cared for many animals with special medical needs as well. I am constantly around animals and love spending time getting to know their personalities and mannerisms. I am comfortable around all dogs or cats and am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your baby! When I come to take care of, play with, and walk your dogs I will dedicate my time to loving them like I love my own corgi, Winston. If they're social, I'd love to take them to the dog park or on long walks. I work in an office but my schedule is extremely flexible, allowing me to work from home on days I'm pet sitting. I am available for drops in or house sittings when needed! I am also flexible and can accept last minute bookings as needed. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I primarily work from home (remote) so I have a lot of time to help a busy pet owner out. I really enjoy meeting new animals and providing a space that’s comfortable for them. Since I stopped fostering, I only have a corgi who is completely friendly. If your pet requires full attention (or doesn’t like other dogs) my boyfriend can care for him :) I walk my dog everyday, usually for an hour to two hours aside from potty walks. I am able to provide medications, fulfill specific diet instructions and pet sit for as long as you’d like!

“I would highly reccomend for anyone who needs a dog sitter to use Colleen. She was very friendly and made us feel comfotable when we arrived. Her house is dog friendly. This was tge first rime I ever used a dog sitter and I was very pleased. She sent several pics of our dog happily enjoying herself and a fun video of my German Shepherd puppy playing with her dog. When I needed to extend the time she allowed us to extend a whold day. It was a great experience and I will use her again.”
