Hi there! I’m August! I’m a stay-at-home mom to my sweet 3 month old, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide attentive care for your pets. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I recently lost my beloved dog, so while my heart is healing, I’d love the opportunity to spend time caring for other dogs and cats. I currently have two cats of my own and have experience caring for pets with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. Whether your pet loves playtime, cuddles, walks, or simply having a calm companion around, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I’m also comfortable caring for senior pets and those with special needs, including administering medications and following detailed care instructions. I understand that every pet is unique, and I’m committed to providing the same level of care and attention I’d want for my own animals. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I promise to care for your pets as if they were my own. August was great! She made time quickly to come meet our cats before she watched them and communicated well while we were gone! The cats warmed up to her well and we will for sure be using her for cat/dog care in the future!
August was absolute wonderful! The pups were well cared for and had no issues. August was amazing at keeping us updated on both the pups and the house. She even had to deal with a broken air conditioner in 90 degree temps and handled it very professionally. I will have here come back for all my pet sitting in the future!
We have many pets, from cats and dogs to tortoises. We go out of town a few times a year and I am always confident leaving the house and our pets In August’s care. Most of them are special needs or elderly and require special attention and medication. August was able to meet all of their needs and do it with patience and kindness. We will miss having her in our area and we send her with high recommendation!
First let me say that August is a special Soul. God broke the mold when he made her. I believe her passion is caring for animals. I have know August since she was a little girl and I have watched her take in strays and care for them and love them until she found them forever homes even though she would really rather keep them all! She is a dedicated, dependable and honest worker no matter what the job and I can PROMISE you that your Fur Baby will be in the very best hands. August will love, care and play with your precious pet as if it is her own. Another very important quality about August is her kind, gentle nature which animals pick up on and take to her immediately.
August is a fantastic pet sitter! She watched my 9 year old Australian Cattle Dog multiple times and we never had any issues. He absolutely loves her and she does a great job making sure he’s fed, walked, and given his medicine on his normal schedule.
August C has dog sat for me several times over the past two years when my husband and I would go out of town or had business to handle and I’ve never had a bad experience, she is so loving and patient with him. She would take him to the dog park and also would go above an beyond to help with the training we were doing for our sweet pup when he was younger. He loves her and has always been so good for her!!! I will continue to use August anytime we need someone to dog sit.

I provide care either in my home or my client’s home, depending on the service. In either setting, I focus on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and on their normal routine. This includes feeding, fresh water, litter box or potty care, playtime, and attention based on each pet’s personality.

I enjoy spending time doing fun activities with pets such as walks, playtime, fetch, tug-of-war, and interactive toy sessions for cats, along with enrichment games that keep them mentally stimulated and comfortable.
