If you own cats, you know how dismissive they can be when it comes to strangers. Lauren quickly became accepted by our girls and successfully broke down the Stranger Danger wall. She sent pics and videos, brought in all the mail that wasn’t supposed to be delivered and graciously cleaned up after the inevitable, retaliatory cat barfs that occurred. Having Lauren as our kitty sitter relieved us of the tremendous amount of stress we get when we’re away on travel. We will absolutely be booking with her again whenever possible. Thank you, Lauren! About: I've been around animals all my life and have considerable experience working with senior dogs and cats. I treat others' pets as if they are my own. I'm currently self-employed, so I have plenty of time to care for your pets. I'm available pretty much any day of the week, especially for dog-walking and drop-in visits. I will happily walk your dog around the neighborhood and play with them outside. Regarding cat care, I will refill their food/water, clean their litter box, and play with them. I am willing to learn from you as their owner and will follow any instructions given.

She not only took time with them in general, but really figured out what they best responded to and (seemingly) got them each to really engage with her while we were gone. Coming back home after a week, the cats weren't nearly as stressed as they'd been on our return in the past, and it really seems to be the time Alexis put in with them when checking in vs just topping of food/water in 5 minutes. I grew up with a German Shepherd mix and a Pit Bull mix, so I have experience with big and small, high-energy dogs and understand the attention and exercise they need. I also have experience caring for senior dogs, and they have a special place in my heart. Whether your pup is young and playful or older and prefers a slower pace, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for. I genuinely love being around dogs and would be thrilled to spend time with yours! I’m a full time touring musician, but I have multiple months in the year where I’m at home and don’t have much to do. I’m almost always available on weekdays, and sometimes weekends. I’m also usually available anytime between 8am-8pm I know how important it is to trust someone with both your pet and your home. ☺️ I carefully follow each pet’s routine, make sure they get plenty of attention and exercise, and always prioritize their safety and comfort. I keep a clean environment, doublecheck doors and gates, and communicate regularly with owners through updates and photos.
