“Bethany is FANTASTIC! Our two German Shepherds instantly loved her. She is very knowledgeable about animals, is quick to respond to requests, and was very accommodating when our plans changed with short notice. We already have her rebooked for multiple drop-ins and housesitting stays. Highly recommend her!”

“Katherine & Jensen were amazing! They took wonderful care of my Poppy girl. She can be a picky eater especially when Mom is away so they mixed in peanut butter with her meals so she would eat. They even cleaned off her muddy paws and my COUCH. Talk about above and beyond! 10/10 will book with them again :)”

“Deborah is very dependable and trustworthy with your pets. She looked after my cat Elliott, who is usually reclusive but came out everytime to see her and lounge around.”

“Lauren did fantastic with our two pets. She sent us multiple great pictures every time she came to visit them and they seemed very happy. Couldn't have asked for a better person to take care of them while we were away.”

“Kyra was amazing! She was always on time and was great on giving updates and pictures as well!! I loved her communication and her time she gave with my animals!! She’s so lovely!”

“Jennifer is truly the best! Helped me out in a jam . She always takes such good care of my sweet old puppy. She’s gives her lots of love and treats :) I know my dog is in excellent hands when Jennifer is with her. Thank you!”

“Haley was great and did a terrific job with our cat. She kept us updated on anything going on, and went out of her way to spend a little extra time with Demi and give her special attention. Communication was excellent and timely. Haley would be our first choice anytime we needed to have someone look after our cat.”

About: I have a lot of time to devote and spend with your fur babies. I have experience with older dogs needs and cats needs as far as medications and special care. I am a pretty quiet and calm person which I think helps the animals feel a little more relaxed when their human parents are gone. I work part-time from 10-2, so I have plenty of time in the mornings and afternoon/evenings to care for and look after your pets! I love walking with dogs and my dog is aged and doesn't like the longer walks now. I am available to stay with your fur babies for the night times as well so they aren't lonely and helps reduce yours and their anxieties. I am also experienced in giving meds to dogs if required. My time is very flexible for drop in walks, cuddles, pets and overall checking on your pets. I know as a pet owner myself, reliability, dependability and safety are my main concerns when leaving my animals to go out of town. I will also communicate consistently with you and give you updates on your fur babies while you are gone.
“Emily was phenomenal!! The photos and updates let me know my pets were well cared for. She was beyond patient with one cat that was pretty grumpy I was gone and I'm so thankful she was there to take care of them!”

“We’ve always had great experiences with rover, but Colleen was absolutely wonderful! We really appreciated the detailed notes she left each day and she went above and beyond in so many ways and we would definitely use her again!”

“Misty is great! She’s patient with my grumpy cat and wins him over. She lets him come to her and respects when the time to be affectionate is done. She’s on time, communicative, and follows instructions. Love her.”

“Natalie was highly recommended when our usual Rover was out of town and I am so grateful for the recommendation! She was a perfect fit our ten year old grumpy, but so loved cat Frederick!! On time, updated photos and kept him on his schedule!! 😊”

“Cassandra was awesome dropping in for home visits with our two big and energetic dogs for a long weekend. We always have a little anxiety leaving them at home for more than a day, but Cassandra took such good care of them and kept us updated with pictures during each visit. We really appreciated the constant communication and will definitely choose Cassandra to take care of our dogs in the future.”

About: I am a college student at Auburn University. I've been pet-sitting since I was 13, and I have plenty of experience pet and house sitting. I can walk, bathe, administer medicine, and more. I typically work 3 to 4 days a week with shifts between 3-5 hours. I am currently looking for a second job for the summer, but as of now, my schedule is very open. I can ensure pet safety by following client instructions, administering medications as directed, and providing regular exercise and playtime. When I house-sit, I make sure to follow basic safety rules, like locking the doors when I leave.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
