“Bethany was lovely and our dogs were so well taken care of. She messaged me with updates and communication was fantastic. 10/10 will definitely book her again!”

“Malia has been fantastic with our nervous shepherd, Selkie. I am very cautious about who I leave her with and Malia handled her fabulously, made sure she had the best time and keep us updated with photos the whole time we were away. It was super reassuring and so happy she could take care of her both times we have been away. Highly recommend and will 100% be calling upon her to pet sit for us in the future!”

“We are repeat customers of Andrea's because our pets always look like they've had a vacation from us when we get back home. With a 15-year-old blind dog and a rambunctious sidekick, a greyhound, we have to find someone who cares about the quirks and needs of a special needs dog, and we feel very comfortable with her.”

“I would recommend Madison to anyone! She is amazing - super communicative, great care for our two dogs, also nice to have in our home. She went above and beyond for our dog that was on medicine and had to wear a cone during her stay.”

“Highly recommend Kristen! She took great care of my dog ❤️ and my house. She did a great job providing updates, pictures, and videos. She made sure he had plenty of time outside and gave him lots of love.”

“Angelica was great with our pups and our home. Excellent messages/updates/pictures. Walks were good exercise, not just a quick walk for them to pee. We’re looking forward to having her back.”

“Savannah is absolutely fantastic! My 4 month old Schnauzer “Cosmosis” is an extrovert and loves everyone, but he ABSOLUTELY adored Savannah. She is a genuine good soul - and he LOVED her to pieces. I have never seen him act that way so quickly before. We will absolutely use her again. Very trustworthy.”

“Jennifer is a true blessing. She handled taking care of my girls with the same love and care I would have, and then some. She has a genuine passion for animals and goes above and beyond to ensure their well-being. Not only did she take care of my house, but she also stayed calm and composed during a potential dangerous storm. Jennifer is a professional, caring, extremely responsible, and trustworthy pet sitter. I highly recommend her and will definitely use her services again.”

“Ella took care of our 3 dogs (including a 10 week old puppy). Ella is super responsive and kept in touch! We came home to very happy dogs! Will ask her to care for our pups again!”

“Jeni did a great job watching my little yorkie in my home. She asked all the right questions during our meet and greet to ensure she understood Clodagh’s particulars. She also kept me updated throughout the weekend on how Clodagh was doing. Both Clodagh and my home were in great condition when I got back.”

“Aunya was fantastic. She made sure all four dogs were well taken care and even cleaned up as she left the house. She was very responsive and provided check-ins. I would definitely let her take care of my wild pack any time!”

About: I bring over 10 years of hands-on experience working with animals in homes, shelters, and boarding facilities. I'm skilled in administering oral and injectable medications and handling pets with behavioral or medical challenges—including food aggression, fear-based reactivity, heartworms, and FIV/FELV+. I’ve worked with animals across all life stages, from newborns to seniors, and across all sizes—from small pets to 100+ lb dogs. I also have experience with basic obedience training, crate training, and loose leash walking. In addition to dogs and cats, I'm happy to care for small mammals like guinea pigs and rabbits, as well as fish, amphibians, and small reptiles. I’m confident, calm, and capable—even in stressful situations—and I always prioritize your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being. I currently work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I’m available mornings, evenings, and most weekends, and I’m more than happy to care for pets on days I work—I can do visits before and after my shift. My current hours are typically Mondays from 8:30am-5pm, Wednesdays from 11:30am-8pm, and Thursdays from 10:30am-7pm. I also work either the second or third weekend of each month (Saturday 8:30–5, Sunday 12:30–5). I prefer clients located in the medical district or Hampton Cove area, especially for weekday bookings, but I’m happy to travel farther when needed! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping your pets comfortable and your home respected. I do my best to maintain your pet’s normal routine—whether that means scheduled feedings, walks, playtime, or medication. I take the time to learn about your pet’s preferences, quirks, and needs so I can provide personalized care that helps them feel safe and happy while you’re away. I’m tidy, respectful of your space, and always keep you updated with photos and messages. Your pets will always be treated with the same level of care and attention I'd give my own.
“Karen went beyond to make sure our babies were cared for while we were out of town! She even stayed a little longer when we unexpectedly had to return later than expected. We will continue to hire Karen! She has quickly become one of our dog’s favorite people!”

“Kai took great care of our pups while we were away. They both warmed to her quickly and they got along great. They were regularly fed, taken outside, and played with. We received pictures each day as well. Kai was accessible by both text and voice when we did our daily check-in.”

“Sarah was phenomenal with our 2 dogs. She was attentive to their needs and communicated to me on a regular basis. She took initiative in grooming and exercise needs. I highly recommend Sarah!”

“Michele was amazing! One of our dogs is 90lbs and can be very dominant and needs someone assertive and kind and Michele knew exactly how to handle her. Michele took great care of our pets and they all loved her. She sent updates and pictures and she’s very nice and professional. Highly recommended. Thank you so much!”

About: Hi, I’m Isa! I’ve grown up around animals and have always had dogs and cats in my life, so I have plenty of experience caring for them. I’m comfortable with both and really enjoy spending time with pets, whether that’s hanging out, playing, or just keeping them company. I do Rover outside of my full-time job because I love meeting new pets and it adds joy to my life :) 🌸 Outside of pet care, I like gaming, spending time outside when the weather’s nice, and being with my family. I’d love to help take care of your pet and make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while you’re away. My schedule can vary during the week since I do work, but I do have flexibility depending on the day and can often make time for pet care visits. I’m especially available on weekends and would be a great fit for weekend pet sitting or check-ins. During the week, I’m still available at times for things like letting dogs out, feeding cats, or stopping by for quick visits when needed. I’m happy to work with your schedule and make sure your pets are taken care of. For me, safety, trust, and a calm environment are really important when caring for pets. I like to talk with owners beforehand to learn about their pet’s personality, routines, and any specific needs so I can provide the best care possible. I really see it as taking care of someone’s family member, so I make sure I understand everything I need to know before spending time with them. When I’m with pets, I always approach them calmly and patiently so they feel safe, comfortable, and understood.
About: I am a college student at Auburn University looking to pet-sit over the summer. I've been pet-sitting since I was 13, and I have plenty of experience pet and house sitting. I can walk, bathe, administer medicine, and more. I work part-time teaching swim lessons, and most of my shifts are 3-4 hours long. I typically work 3 to 4 days a week with shifts between 3-5 hours. I am currently looking for a second job for the summer, but as of now, my schedule is very open. I can ensure pet safety by following client instructions, administering medications as directed, and providing regular exercise and playtime. When I house-sit, I make sure to follow basic safety rules, like locking the doors when I leave.

I am a recent engineering graduate who has returned to the Huntsville area for work and a post grad program. I work Monday-Friday until early evening but have availability afterwards and on weekends for your pet care needs! Big Cove pet parents share their Rover experiences
Bethany once again did an amazing job housesitting our dogs! She even stayed longer than scheduled due to one of our dogs not cooperating with his eating schedule. We’re able to enjoy our travels and not worry about the dogs when Bethany is there. She keeps us updated and sends great pictures. Hands down the best dogsitter we’ve had using Rover!

Alicia is great with my babies and sends wonderful updates and pictures! She makes sure they are comfortable and when they seem anxious, nervous, or off she makes sure to comfort them in any additional way she can. I feel completely comfortable with her taking care of my babies!
