Taylor is great. She says hello to Marshmallow and loves on him every time she comes over to walk him. Marshmallow gets excited when he sees her and he only gets excited for food.

The longest stay I have had with a military mom has been 3 months. I provide in home pet care. I have a day job working from home. My day job does allow me to come to you and your pet so that they can be less stressed by their humans absence. I like to keep the babies normal routine as close to perfect as possible. I have cared for so many wonderful pets through this app and I am looking forward to continuing this wonderful, life changing service once I am able. I have had many steady repeat pets as well. I can provide letters of reference also if needed. Please review my calendar as I do have it open beginning July 1st moving forward. My time with your pet will of course depend on the whole healing process. I know I will be available for the holiday season. It is always good to get the holidays set up way in advance as a good pet sitter is hard to find at that time of year. I am really looking forward to helping with your pet sitting needs. Please just reach out and ask about the availability. I do try to keep up on my calendar but sometimes it can be a bit off. Again just reach out and double check directly with me. I am a real people person, I am a friendly and kind human being. I am responsible, prompt, and very reliable. Pets love me & I love them. Please reach out and let’s see how I might be able to help. I have raise dogs all my life with my first pup showing up at the age of 8. I work remotely so my time is quite flexible. I have also done some dog training along with showing dogs for a short time frame. I simply love dogs, cats & horses. About: I have owned and taken care of pets ever since I was 9 years old. I have trained my last 3 dogs that I have and two of them live with me now. I also make homemade dog treats for my two babies so I know exactly what it is they are consuming. I am a part time baker and work mostly during the mornings so I would be able to see your pet in the morning before i have work and be able to come home a little after lunchtime to take them out, take them on walks/runs. I can also be there overnight to insure their safety and keep them from making a mess. I have a fenced in back yard and two very friendly dogs. one is 3 years old and the other is almost 1. I have a big back yard so enough room for the dogs to run around and have fun playing with one another! I love taking dogs out for walks. I know not everyone has a fenced in back yard or one in general so taking dogs on walks and allowing them to get out there and blow off some energy. I also make homemade dog treats for my animals so I know they aren't consuming things that can cause health problems down the road. I also have allergy tested both my dogs so that way I know what treats I am making them are for their consumption.

Alison is soo loving, sweet and compassionate with my Lotus. I appreciate how patient, gentle and reliable she is. She communicates super well and tell me how their entire walks go. She makes me feel at ease knowing that he's in good care with her. She took the time to learn him to ensure their walks go well and that is a plus being that my baby has quite a few rules lol. Im so happy to have come across her.

About: An animal lover of all shapes and sizes, I’ve grown up around animals all my life. I have been professionally pet sitting for almost two years, and during this time have amassed many different breeds and knowledge of their behavior during this time! My birth family primarily owned cats, including a diabetic old grump and kittens, and I’m generally known as a “cat whisperer”! Later on, my grandparents and I adopted a toy poodle named Pierre, who eventually developed diabetes as a senior, which we had to medicate. After he passed away we adopted our standard poodle, Isabelle, who was my soul puppy. She unfortunately passed away in January of 23 after a long struggle with pancreatic cancer, so I’m accustomed to providing all sorts of medical care as well as extremely customized diets and medication schedules. And right now my family and I are raising another standard poodle- Nova! She’s 2, and the light of my life. I raised and trained Nova and Isabelle, so I’m used to the puppy stage also. I’ve also grew up around fishkeeping & small animals of all kinds, and as a high-schooler/adult I’ve been a reptile/amphibian keeper. Specifically, I’ve owned hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, frogs, axolotls, snakes, geckos, chameleons, hermit crabs, and a hedgehog. While I have not personally owned birds, I’m very knowledgeable in their care also! This is currently my job! I am in college and attend class Mondays and Wedsnesdays 11-2. Next spring semester has classes Monday&Wedsnesday from 11-2, and Tues/Thurs 11-12:30 Depending on the dog, we’ll spend the day relaxing or playing and at the end of the day we’ll be all tuckered out. Your pups safety and wellbeing is always my top priority! I will follow any instructions given and provide frequent updates & pictures. I am also well-versed in pair dynamics & anxious dogs!

About: I’ve always loved animals since I was a little girl. I’ve volunteered & been paid to take care of all sorts of animals since I was very little. I grew up with dogs and cats, am very comfortable around all sizes and temperaments, have experience as a vet tech, and am very flexible. I’m comfortable administering any form of medications needed, giving specific treats, or following a specific schedule you have. I also have pretty flexible hours, just message me if a certain time or day works better for you. I’m big on communication, so you can always expect some photos of your fur baby:) my schedule can be a little chaotic so if there’s a day I have a call-in my husband, James, will cover for me. Rest assured he has also gone through all of Rover’s checks, and has a big love for pets as well! I’m currently working part-time so I have quite a few days available to care for your pet! I do not have a set schedule with my work so I have different days I’m available each week, but I will work with you as best I can. I have one dog named Raina who loves to make new friends (with both dogs and cats!). Unless otherwise requested, meals will be given twice a day and a few treats throughout the day in between. I also leave water out & full for your pet and mine to share. Potty breaks are three times a day unless otherwise requested. Longer walks (0.5mi-3mi) are done once a day unless otherwise requested. If you have any special instructions please let me know at time of booking.

Professional and responds quickly! My dog seemed to enjoy her walks while I was at work, I’m only giving 4 stars because it seems like she was more communicative at the beginning versus towards the end of the weekly service, but otherwise satisfied!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
