About: Hi, I’m Ashley! With over 10 years of experience caring for pets, I’ve had the joy of working with dogs, cats, and everything in between. From playful puppies and curious kittens to senior pets needing a little extra TLC, I treat every animal like they’re my own. I understand that each pet has a unique personality and routine, and I’m committed to providing consistent, compassionate care tailored to their needs. Whether it’s long walks, feeding, medication, litter box cleaning, or just quality companionship, I make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. You can always count on me for clear communication, reliability, and plenty of photo updates. I know how much your pets mean to you—because mine mean the world to me too! I’m currently a stay at home, so my availability is pretty open! I’m happy to discuss dates and times privately. Please feel free to reach out! When I care for your pets in their home, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and comfortable environment that sticks as closely as possible to their regular routine. I follow all your instructions carefully—from feeding schedules and medication to favorite toys and walk routes—because I know the little details make a big difference.

About: Hi, I’m Emma Johnson, and I’m here to give your pets the same love and care I give my own. My husband and I are both animal lovers, and he often helps me with visits—especially when extra hands are helpful, like with larger dogs or farm animals. We work as a team to ensure your pet receives safe, attentive, and loving care. I’ve been caring for animals since I was 8 years old, and I now have over 10 years of personal and professional experience with a wide variety of pets. I hold both the Rover 101 badge and a Verified Enhanced Background Check badge, so you can feel confident that your pet is in capable, trustworthy hands. I specialize in cats, dogs, rabbits, and farm animals, including goats, donkeys, chickens, and ducks. I grew up caring for animals on a family friend’s farm while they were away, and I’ve also worked at a pet resort at a veterinary clinic. In high school, I earned the Gold CGSP award for excellence in service and professional manners. I provide drop-in visits only, which is perfect for pets who are most comfortable in their own home. I will follow all your instructions closely to maintain your pet’s routine and reinforce any training you’ve put in place. I’m happy to provide exercise, playtime, brushing, and even bathing during visits—just let me know what your pet needs! I am committed to punctuality and reliability. I do everything I can to arrive on time or even early, unless something unavoidable like traffic or an accident occurs. Availability: • As a teacher, I am currently available for weekend and holiday visits only. • I do not offer late-night services; my latest visit time is 7:00 PM. • My schedule is very flexible on weekends, and I’m happy to work with you to find the best plan for your pet. Whether your pet needs playtime, snuggles, or just a calm, familiar routine, I’m here to help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Feel free to message me with any questions—I can’t wait to meet you and your fur babies! As a teacher, I am currently available for weekend and certain holiday visits only. I use my free time to care for animals, which I truly enjoy. I only offer drop-in visits at the pet’s home, where they are most comfortable and familiar with their surroundings. I follow all care instructions closely to maintain consistency and reduce stress for your pet. I respect your home and your pet’s space, and I always aim to create a calm, safe, and positive environment during each visit. I also make sure to secure doors, gates, and any areas you’ve noted for safety. Trust is very important to me, and I treat every pet and home with the same care I give my own.

About: I’m 31 years old, a single mom, and the owner of Daisy’s Creative Cuts & Colors LLC, as well as a REALTOR and photography business owner. I have a genuine love for animals, and because I spend a lot of time at home, I’m able to be with them almost all of the time. I can groom the dogs in my care so they go home fresh and clean, and I also work on light training while they’re with me. This is my career, and I take great pride in the work I do. I’m willing to care for dogs that others may turn away, because I truly believe dogs are incredibly intelligent and intuitive animals. I see dogs and cats as very special, and I treat every fur baby as if they were my own. If you choose me to care for your pet, you won’t regret it. I also love meeting my dogs’ families, I’ve met some amazing people and formed long-term friendships through this journey. I spend plenty of time with my animals I keep since I work from home a lot. I update you on how they are through the day as well. I have a fenced in yard. We will be outside most of the time. We go for walks and to the park. I also send pictures everyday so you can feel closer to your fur babies.

About: I have owned and taken care of pets ever since I was 9 years old. I have trained my last 3 dogs that I have and two of them live with me now. I also make homemade dog treats for my two babies so I know exactly what it is they are consuming. I am a part time baker and work mostly during the mornings so I would be able to see your pet in the morning before i have work and be able to come home a little after lunchtime to take them out, take them on walks/runs. I can also be there overnight to insure their safety and keep them from making a mess. I have a fenced in back yard and two very friendly dogs. one is 3 years old and the other is almost 1. I have a big back yard so enough room for the dogs to run around and have fun playing with one another! I love taking dogs out for walks. I know not everyone has a fenced in back yard or one in general so taking dogs on walks and allowing them to get out there and blow off some energy. I also make homemade dog treats for my animals so I know they aren't consuming things that can cause health problems down the road. I also have allergy tested both my dogs so that way I know what treats I am making them are for their consumption.

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and can’t imagine a home without them. With over 25 years of experience, I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies learning their manners to senior pets who need a little extra love and patience. I’m comfortable with training, daily routines, and making sure every dog feels safe, happy, and cared for. To me, pets are family, and I’ll treat yours with the same love and attention as my own. I’m home full-time with plenty of flexibility and reliable transportation, making it easy to provide dependable care whenever it’s needed. I genuinely enjoy helping both people and pets, and I love taking breaks for belly rubs, walks, and plenty of snuggles. I have a spacious fenced yard where pets can safely play and explore, along with a friendly dog companion for those who enjoy company (or quiet time if they prefer being on their own). I can also crate pets if needed. My priority is making sure every pet feels comfortable, cared for, and loved while having a fun, positive experience.

About: An animal lover of all shapes and sizes, I’ve grown up around animals all my life. I have been professionally pet sitting for almost two years, and during this time have amassed many different breeds and knowledge of their behavior during this time! My birth family primarily owned cats, including a diabetic old grump and kittens, and I’m generally known as a “cat whisperer”! Later on, my grandparents and I adopted a toy poodle named Pierre, who eventually developed diabetes as a senior, which we had to medicate. After he passed away we adopted our standard poodle, Isabelle, who was my soul puppy. She unfortunately passed away in January of 23 after a long struggle with pancreatic cancer, so I’m accustomed to providing all sorts of medical care as well as extremely customized diets and medication schedules. And right now my family and I are raising another standard poodle- Nova! She’s 2, and the light of my life. I raised and trained Nova and Isabelle, so I’m used to the puppy stage also. I’ve also grew up around fishkeeping & small animals of all kinds, and as a high-schooler/adult I’ve been a reptile/amphibian keeper. Specifically, I’ve owned hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, frogs, axolotls, snakes, geckos, chameleons, hermit crabs, and a hedgehog. While I have not personally owned birds, I’m very knowledgeable in their care also! This is currently my job! I am in college and attend class Mondays and Wedsnesdays 11-2. Next spring semester has classes Monday&Wedsnesday from 11-2, and Tues/Thurs 11-12:30 Depending on the dog, we’ll spend the day relaxing or playing and at the end of the day we’ll be all tuckered out. Your pups safety and wellbeing is always my top priority! I will follow any instructions given and provide frequent updates & pictures. I am also well-versed in pair dynamics & anxious dogs!

About: Hi! My name is Aunya. Growing up I’ve always had pets and I’ve cared for other family members pets. I have been a caregiver for over two years now and I believe those responsibility traits will set me apart from others. From being dedicated to giving the best possible care, having patience and reliability, time management and organizational skills, to showing empathy and compassion. I have a rescue dog myself that I consider part of the family. I look forward to meeting and spoiling your Furbabies! I work three 12-hour night shifts each week, so my days and off-days are very flexible. I plan my bookings around my schedule to make sure each pet gets my full attention and care. While caring for pets in the client’s home I will stick to the owner's routine for feeding, walks and keep the dogs mentally and physically stimulated with playtime and affection. In addition to maintaining their routine, ensure the pets have access to fresh water at all times, also giving them plenty of attention and affection to help ease any anxiety they may feel while their owner is away.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
