“Cannot say enough wonderful things about Lauren!! She went above and beyond for our 2 kitties while we were gone for a week. If you own cats, you know how dismissive they can be when it comes to strangers. Lauren quickly became accepted by our girls and successfully broke down the Stranger Danger wall. She sent pics and videos, brought in all the mail that wasn’t supposed to be delivered and graciously cleaned up after the inevitable, retaliatory cat barfs that occurred. Having Lauren as our kitty sitter relieved us of the tremendous amount of stress we get when we’re away on travel. We will absolutely be booking with her again whenever possible. Thank you, Lauren! You’re the best!!!”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and have been pet sitting for about 10 years, working with all kinds of dog breeds and personalities. I’ve especially worked with anxious dogs (mainly shepherd breeds), including training, walking, etc. I offer walks and home visits, and my goal is always to make sure both you and your pet feel comfortable and cared for. I like to share frequent updates and pictures, and I can adjust based on what you prefer so you always know how things are going. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out! A bit of personal information about me- I’m fairly new to the Huntsville area! Also, I recently lost my own mini Aussie this past year. While I’m not ready to get a new dog of my own yet, I would love to find some great dogs to care for and love on here in Huntsville ❤️ I currently have a flexible schedule, so I can offer drop ins and walks as needed for your pet. I am also off every Friday-Sunday. While I am not able to offer sitting in my home, I am happy to come to your home and adjust to your pet’s existing schedule, walking route, etc. to ensure they are comfortable while receiving excellent and reliable care.
“Kayla was outstanding in every way. She not only took care of our older Brittany spaniels…she really cared! It was a cold night and she took the time to contact us to make sure they’d be ok. They have nice warm outside doggie condos so thankfully she could take care of them and be confident they’d stay warm. Thank you, Kayla!”

About: I’ve spent the past 10 years caring for dogs and cats for family, friends, and clients. I genuinely love animals and enjoy building trust with each pet I care for. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or calm companionship, I make sure your pet feels at home and well loved When you book with me, you can expect reliable, attentive, and loving care for your pet. I follow your pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, litter box care, playtime, and any special instructions you provide. I prioritize your pet’s comfort and safety, making sure they feel secure and stress-free while you’re away. I’m patient with shy or independent cats and attentive to pets who enjoy extra affection. You’ll receive regular updates, photos, and messages, so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands.
“Madelyn was great with our 2 kitties. We came back from our trip to very happy and peppy cats. She was reliable, arrived when expected, and provide very cute photos from each visit. She cleaned the bowls which was very nice. This was our first time booking with Madelyn and will be sure to book with her again in the future.”

“We've booked with MacKenzie a few times. She is very informative and attentive. She brought our trash and recycling bins down and back up without us asking! I highly recommend MacKenzie if you are looking for a caring pet sitter!”

“I’m so grateful for the care Kanese gave my dog while we were away for a week. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about my pup’s well being. I loved getting photo updates and could tell my dog was happy, comfortable, and well taken care of. It gave me real peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands. Highly recommend!”

“Jessica is awesome!! She was able to accommodate us on short notice when our original plan fell through as we were leaving town. Our Mooshi had an upset stomach after we left and Jessica took very good care of her keeping us updated and even adding an extra visit to check on her.”

“Peyton, went above and beyond to take care of my dog. She brought in a package, changed her plans at the last minute due to my flight change and was very sweet in all of her feedback/photos helping me feel more comfortable while out of town. I highly recommend her and am very appreciative for all that she did to help me!”

“Morgan is amazing and took such great care of my pup! She clearly loves animals and it’s refreshing to find someone on this app that is trustworthy and who cares about animals like they are her own. Definitely recommend her for peace of mind! :)”

“August was great! She made time quickly to come meet our cats before she watched them and communicated well while we were gone! The cats warmed up to her well and we will for sure be using her for cat/dog care in the future!”

About: I have experience caring for dogs of different sizes and breeds. I am comfortable following feeding schedules and administering oral medications. I can recognize signs of stress, illness, or discomfort and respond appropriately. I also have basic knowledge of pet first aid. I currently work full-time as a meat cutter, and my average workday is about 9 hours with a 1-hour lunch break. If you’re close enough, I’d be happy to stop by during my lunch to check on and care for your fur baby. I love the outdoors, especially hiking and fishing. I’m a laid-back, dependable guy who enjoys connecting with all kinds of animals, and I’ll treat your pets with the same care and attention I’d give my own. I can carefully follow your instructions, including feeding schedules and medication routines, to ensure your pet receives the care they’re used to. I will treat your fur babies like royalty, giving them the love, attention, and care they deserve while you’re away.

About: While I do not have pets of my own right now, I’ve spent most of life surrounded by them. I grew up living in a farm, so we had multiple dogs and a few cats. Rudy and Bonnie were our two dogs- both border collies. Ever since, I’ve wanted a dog of my own, but living in an apartment doesn’t feel doable at the moment so I’m looking to care for others’ dogs and show them some love 😊😊 I’m currently available all week, so I have plenty of time to look and care for your pups! I also have weekend availability, and potentially overnight care as well. I can come feed, walk, and play with your pets. I am also a runner, so if your dog is up for a run, I could easily take it on one.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my background in healthcare and my natural attention to detail. As a nursing student and soon-to-be hospital worker, I’m very experienced in providing attentive, compassionate care — which easily carries over to how I care for pets. I’m patient, reliable, and comfortable following detailed care instructions, including administering medications if needed. I also have experience with both young, energetic pets and senior pets who may need a little extra gentleness and support. I genuinely love building a bond with every animal I care for, treating them like family while keeping their safety, happiness, and well-being my top priority. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I truly enjoy spending time with animals. I am a nursing student who will be starting a hospital job on May 12, working from 3 PM to 11:30 PM. Until then, I have open availability to care for pets. Even after I begin work, I’ll be available during mornings, early afternoons, and late nights for check-ins, walks, and pet sitting. I start classes on May 27, but I only have one in-person class from 12–1 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays, leaving plenty of time to dedicate to caring for pets. I’m responsible, nurturing, and attentive—qualities that come naturally from my healthcare background—and I will treat your pets like they are my own. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I make sure to follow any specific instructions provided by the owner, including feeding schedules, walk times, medication administration, and any special routines or preferences. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior to make sure they are happy, comfortable, and safe. I also love giving pets plenty of playtime, affection, and exercise based on their energy level. Cleanliness and safety are important to me, so I always make sure their space stays clean, and I update owners regularly with messages and photos for peace of mind. With my nursing background, I’m very detail-oriented and comfortable providing extra care if needed.
“Emmie was great with our cats when we had to leave town on short notice. She took the time to come to the house, meet them, and learn about their routine. While we were gone, she sent updates and asked questions when needed. She took the initiative (after asking if it was ok) to bring a treat to coax one of our cats to take his meds. We returned to very happy and well cared for cats!”

About: I have been the sole provider for my animals for almost 9 years. I also have 5 years experience of being a Nanny. I love to travel too, so I am looking to help out fellow dog parents! I work 8am - 4:30pm. I have a lunch break at 1pm as well, that I would be able to let your animals out during. I am free most weekends. I have a very friendly 7 year old rescue dog of my own that I care for deeply. Due to not having a fenced in yard, my pup gets multiple walks per day.
About: I have owned dogs and cats my whole life, and started caring for the pets of friends and family when I was ten. I have experience training dogs in basic things like housebreaking, kennel training, leash walking, and basic commands like sit and down. I also have experience caring for a deaf and blind senior dog who had special needs. Dogs tend to love me and I have never met a dog I didn't love. I currently do not have another job, and can watch and care for pets at any time. I care for our own pets daily, walking, feeding, playing, and snuggling together. My free time is spent doing art or gaming (with headset on) so my home is quiet, perfect for dogs and cats who might be afraid of a lot of noise. I have a fenced in yard, a dog safe room, and two dogs and a cat to keep your pet company. If needed, I have a crate for either your or my pets, and the dog safe room can be used to keep pets separated if need be. I have a water bowl out and accessible at all hours and can open feed if that is what your pet is use to. (If your pet has a feeding schedule, I can also follow that.) In your own home I will follow the guidelines you set forth, and give your pet as much or as little attention as they need. For walks, I will ensure your pet has time for both play and to relieve themselves, and if needed check to makes sure all is well in the house or yard before I leave. For all types of care there will be updates including photos of your pet.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Huntsville
Ann did a wonderful job taking care of Yetti. She took good care of him and spent time loving on him. He was having some issues with one of his legs and she catered to his needs and used her judgement on how much he felt like walking. It was such a good feeling knowing my fur baby was not just being taken care of but being loved on. I would definitely use Ann again to take care of Yetti.

Jennifer is an amazing dog sitter! She keeps us updated with pictures and notes that keep our minds at ease. She is very communicative and is always punctual. This is our second time using her for drop in visits, and she was just as perfect as the first time. Thank you!

Cynthia was very helpful with our last minute request for drop in visits! She sent plenty of pictures and gave us updates after each visit, which helps keep my husband and I worry free while we are away. She is also very professional and communicative. I would highly recommend her for any pet parents needing sitting for their fur babies!

First time using rover, and I didnt have to worry about my pups at all while I was gone. She took great care of my them! She sent updates and photos and let me know of anything concerning, which I appreciate. She even dripped my faucets while I was gone, and I didnt even ask or think about that! I try not to leave my pups home alone, but if I ever have to, I'd happily trust her again! Thanks Haven!

We were in need of someone last minute to check on our boys while we were away visiting family during Christmas. Amanda and Benjamin were so sweet, and our boys loved them! They sent a lot of pictures and updates, and we felt at ease knowing our boys were in good hands while we focused on family time.

Andrea was great with our three boys! When we got back for an extended day trip, it was clear that they hadn’t been under any stress or anxiety - they were great! Andrea came to our home during all of their regular potty break/food times to make sure they were comfortable. We’ll definitely be working with her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
