“Elise put my mind at ease as my first River sitter. I was nervous leaving my cat in the care of someone I’ve never met in person but Elise spoke with me before our time away and I knew she’d take great care. Her communication was professional, courteous, and clear. She was sure to understand my expectations and it felt like she did everything the way I would have, which can be hard to actually execute on. She arrived timely and sent pictures that were great to see while we were away from our fur baby. I would most certainly rebook with Elise and have the confidence to travel more now. Thanks so much Elise!”

“Andrea was great with our three boys! When we got back for an extended day trip, it was clear that they hadn’t been under any stress or anxiety - they were great! Andrea came to our home during all of their regular potty break/food times to make sure they were comfortable. We’ll definitely be working with her again!”

“Austin was great at the meet and greet. He took notes and ask good questions. He has performed several drop ins and is learning how to work with my dogs. They can be difficult because they are afraid of new people but he is patient with them. We really appreciate his time and effort.”

About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember! I was a pet sitter via word of mouth in Florida but I just moved here so I'm trying to find new clients! I’ve cared for a variety of pets, from exotics (chinchillas, ferrets, squirrels, opossums, etc) to reptiles, rodents, dogs, and cats. I fostered exotics for three years before college and have cared for many animals with special medical needs as well. I am constantly around animals and love spending time getting to know their personalities and mannerisms. I am comfortable around all dogs or cats and am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your baby! When I come to take care of, play with, and walk your dogs I will dedicate my time to loving them like I love my own corgi, Winston. If they're social, I'd love to take them to the dog park or on long walks. I work in an office but my schedule is extremely flexible, allowing me to work from home on days I'm pet sitting. I am available for drops in or house sittings when needed! I am also flexible and can accept last minute bookings as needed. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I primarily work from home (remote) so I have a lot of time to help a busy pet owner out. I really enjoy meeting new animals and providing a space that’s comfortable for them. Since I stopped fostering, I only have a corgi who is completely friendly. If your pet requires full attention (or doesn’t like other dogs) my boyfriend can care for him :) I walk my dog everyday, usually for an hour to two hours aside from potty walks. I am able to provide medications, fulfill specific diet instructions and pet sit for as long as you’d like!
“Rachel did drop in visits for my cat while I was away on vacation. She is AMAZING! She is excellent with communication and sending pictures during the visits. My cat Stella had a lot of fun with her while I was away! I would definitely rebook with her in the future!”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and have been pet sitting for about 10 years, working with all kinds of dog breeds and personalities. I’ve especially worked with anxious dogs (mainly shepherd breeds), including training, walking, etc. I offer walks and home visits, and my goal is always to make sure both you and your pet feel comfortable and cared for. I like to share frequent updates and pictures, and I can adjust based on what you prefer so you always know how things are going. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out! A bit of personal information about me- I’m fairly new to the Huntsville area! Also, I recently lost my own mini Aussie this past year. While I’m not ready to get a new dog of my own yet, I would love to find some great dogs to care for and love on here in Huntsville ❤️ I currently have a flexible schedule, so I can offer drop ins and walks as needed for your pet. I am also off every Friday-Sunday. While I am not able to offer sitting in my home, I am happy to come to your home and adjust to your pet’s existing schedule, walking route, etc. to ensure they are comfortable while receiving excellent and reliable care.
“Morgan is amazing and took such great care of my pup! She clearly loves animals and it’s refreshing to find someone on this app that is trustworthy and who cares about animals like they are her own. Definitely recommend her for peace of mind! :)”

My schedule is very flexible and I will work to meet your needs to the best of my ability! I am free throughout most days in the summer. I am very flexible with scheduling. on days when I am available I will be able to check on your pets anytime throughout the day. As a walker, I can ensure long walks for dog's and accommodate them in any necessary means. I have also experience feeding cats, fish, and lizards.
About: I will show your animal the General love and care as I give my own! I love dogs and cats and would love to care for them when you’re unable to! I love giving lovings and napping with the animals they love cuddling in the bed together! I work full time Monday through Friday typically but am very willing to work around those hours to care for your loves! I typically am free in the evenings and can wake up earlier to take care of your babies if needed before work. I treat everyone’s home with respect. I know it is sometimes uneasy trusting someone new as some people have no respect for others and their belongings rest assured with me your house will be in the same condition you left it in!
“Deborah took care of my pets for 4 days while we were out of town. We received notifications on her arrival and when she left along with pictures of our pets. Deborah communicated with us and let us know how they were doing and responding with her. This gave us great peace of mind and we knew they were happy and being well taken care of. Deborah was a true gift to us and we appreciate her! Thank you Deborah!! This was our first experience using Rover and feel it is set up very well with communication between the petsitter and us, verifying our pets care and ease in payment too.”

About: I’ve loved animals my whole life and have been working with them since I was a young teenager! Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience at a dog boarding facility, a veterinary clinic, and now full-time at a local animal shelter, caring for pets of all personalities and needs. Through fostering, I became even more familiar with cats, and at home, I share my life with two dogs and three cats. I’ve had several long-standing pet-sitting clients before moving to this area outside of Rover, and I love meeting new pets and building bonds with them. I’m confident administering medications and giving attentive, loving care to make sure your furry friends are happy, healthy, and loved while you’re away. If your pet has fur, I’ve got it covered! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine! I work full-time, so I’m available for morning check-ins or walks before 8 AM and evening visits after 5 PM. On weekends, I’m wide open and happy to schedule drop-ins or walks based on what works best for you and your pet. I may also be able to accommodate a midday walk or check-in between 12 PM and 2 PM, depending on your location and your pet’s needs. I’m also available on government holidays, and I’m always happy to communicate and find a schedule that keeps your pet comfortable and well cared for! I care for every pet as if they were my own, always prioritizing their safety, comfort, and happiness. I strive to make every interaction safe, fun, and fulfilling for the animal while respecting their individual needs and boundaries. On walks, I stay alert and attentive, ensuring pets remain safe at all times and calmly leaving any situation that makes them seem uncomfortable or stressed. During drop-in visits, I closely observe each pet’s overall well-being, including their behavior, energy level, and routine, and I will promptly report any concerns to the owner. My goal is to provide reliable, compassionate care so pets feel secure and well cared for in their home or while out on walks.
“Kayla was excellent! She is trustable and has a lot of experience with dogs.🐾 She always kept in touch with us about Panda behavior during our absence. For sure we will book with her next time so we don’t have to worry at all!”

“Madison is extraordinary and we feel so lucky to have connected with her. The services and care she provided in our absence went above and beyond our expectations. She not only executed the agreed to basics for our two pups (one 50# special needs (IVDD/back leg partial paralysis) lovebug, the other a 60# goof that can just plain be a jerk) but also made sure to give them extra outside play / loved on them during her drop in visits. Additionally ensuring they were watered up, comfortable and cleaned up before leaving. Madison made sure in the daily report outs to give details to ensure we were kept informed and noted anything unusual. This is the first time I have been away in almost a year and Madison absolutely allowed me to have piece of mind that my pups were in excellent hands and that they were being cared as I would ... not an easy thing to do! She knocked it out of the park and will be my first choice any time the need arises. Very highly recommend to any and all.”

About: I have been the sole provider for my animals for almost 9 years. I also have 5 years experience of being a Nanny. I love to travel too, so I am looking to help out fellow dog parents! I work 8am - 4:30pm. I have a lunch break at 1pm as well, that I would be able to let your animals out during. I am free most weekends. I have a very friendly 7 year old rescue dog of my own that I care for deeply. Due to not having a fenced in yard, my pup gets multiple walks per day.
“Savanna took exceptional care of my dogs. She was on time, communicative, and truly caring. I felt completely at ease knowing my dogs were in such loving hands. I highly recommend her!! Thank you so much”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was a kid. I worked with the animal shelters since I was 8 and have learned how to befriend any animal! I’m a fourth year medical student about to graduate in June, and I currently have some surplus time on my hands. Looking to try to make good use of it and get to meet some new furry friends! Currently my animals are in charge of the house and I live my life around them. Besides making them happy, I make sure to keep it clean and presentable for my own sanity.
“Madelyn was great with our 2 kitties. We came back from our trip to very happy and peppy cats. She was reliable, arrived when expected, and provide very cute photos from each visit. She cleaned the bowls which was very nice. This was our first time booking with Madelyn and will be sure to book with her again in the future.”

Huntsville dog parents share their Rover experiences
First time using rover, and I didnt have to worry about my pups at all while I was gone. She took great care of my them! She sent updates and photos and let me know of anything concerning, which I appreciate. She even dripped my faucets while I was gone, and I didnt even ask or think about that! I try not to leave my pups home alone, but if I ever have to, I'd happily trust her again! Thanks Haven!

We were in need of someone last minute to check on our boys while we were away visiting family during Christmas. Amanda and Benjamin were so sweet, and our boys loved them! They sent a lot of pictures and updates, and we felt at ease knowing our boys were in good hands while we focused on family time.

Andrea was great with our three boys! When we got back for an extended day trip, it was clear that they hadn’t been under any stress or anxiety - they were great! Andrea came to our home during all of their regular potty break/food times to make sure they were comfortable. We’ll definitely be working with her again!
