Pet care is already a central part of my daily life. I run an online freeze-dried raw pet treat business and spend most of my time working from home or actively caring for animals. At home, I spend a great deal of time with my own dogs through structured activities like long wooded walks, socialization, and desensitization work. I also work with clients who need support with whelping and early puppy care.

Safety, trust & environment
I provide structured, calm care with safety as the priority. Dogs are supervised during free time and I believe in crate training as a positive tool for rest and security. Feeding is done separately to respect space, followed by quiet crate time after meals to help prevent bloat. Once rested, dogs return to supervised free time.

Information Alison D. would like to know about your pet
I love getting the full scoop so I can care for your pet like you do! Please let me know their routine, energy level, favorite activities, quirks, fears, and anything that helps them feel safe and happy. Are they reactive to anything (dogs, people, bikes, squirrels)? Any medical needs, allergies, or special feeding instructions?
A typical day
I’m big on adventures and letting dogs actually be dogs. We go on nature walks, explore wooded trails, hit the dog park for social time, and of course plenty of sniff breaks. I love mixing in play, little training moments, and just vibing outdoors.

Pet care experience
I have hands on veterinary assisting experience, strong understanding of animal behavior, and my ability to care for a wide range of species not just dogs and cats. I’m comfortable supporting pets with structure and routine. I have experience caring for neonate puppies who need consistency and extra monitoring, as well as senior pets who require patience, and gentle handling. I’m also confident handling large and powerful breeds.
Reviews

Alison is soo loving, sweet and compassionate with my Lotus. I appreciate how patient, gentle and reliable she is. She communicates super well and tell me how their entire walks go. She makes me feel at ease knowing that he's in good care with her. She took the time to learn him to ensure their walks go well and that is a plus being that my baby has quite a few rules lol. Im so happy to have come across her.

Alison was fantastic with my dog and made the whole experience super easy and stress-free. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about making sure my dog was comfortable and well taken care of. I really appreciated the updates and could tell my dog enjoyed the walks and time with her. I’d definitely recommend Alison to anyone looking for someone dependable and caring.

Alison has been so great with my dog, always goes above and beyond and communicates very well. I was lucky to find her!
Alison has always had a genuine love for animals, especially dogs. She is responsible, attentive, and very knowledgeable when it comes to proper pet care and veterinary needs. I would trust Alison with my own pet without hesitation. If you choose her, I’m confident your pet will be in loving, capable hands and you’ll have a great experience.
