Amy did an awesome job caring for my senior cat! She left excellent, detailed report cards to summarize each visit and sent lots of photos so I knew my cat was well cared for. She let me know whenever there were issues (throw up, etc) and took care of them promptly as needed. I plan on using Amy as much as possible in the future!

Cynthia did an awesome job watching our three dogs. Communication was great, she sent lots of pictures and did exactly what we asked her to do. I highly recommend Cynthia if you need someone to watch your pups! We will definitely use her services again.

Ashlyn did, overall, a very good job of taking care of our pets and our house. There are a few things that need to be changed a bit but I'll go over these with her to clarify them for her. We really appreciate her help. Our usual petsitter (also a Rover.com sitter) was going to be out of town for Thanksgiving, so Ashlyn totally bailed us out!

Austin was great at the meet and greet. He took notes and ask good questions. He has performed several drop ins and is learning how to work with my dogs. They can be difficult because they are afraid of new people but he is patient with them. We really appreciate his time and effort.

About: One thing that sets me apart is my firsthand experience caring for a reactive dog of my own. That experience taught me how important patience, consistency, body language awareness, and calm handling are when working with dogs who may be anxious, overstimulated, fearful, or slow to trust new people. Because of that, I’m very mindful of creating a safe, low-stress environment where pets can feel comfortable at their own pace. I’m experienced with maintaining routines, managing different energy levels, and recognizing behavioral cues before situations become stressful. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, senior dogs, high-energy breeds, and pets who need extra patience or structure. I also know how important communication is to pet parents, so I provide reliable updates, photos, and detailed check-ins for peace of mind while you’re away. Because I run my own special education advocacy business, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide dependable and attentive pet care throughout the week. My work gives me the ability to accommodate a variety of schedules, including daytime visits, overnight stays, weekends, and many holiday needs. I’m able to plan my schedule carefully so pets receive consistent care, attention, exercise, and companionship rather than rushed drop-ins. Flexibility also means I can better adapt to pets with specific routines, medication schedules, anxiety needs, or extra potty breaks. I care for pets by focusing on keeping their routine as normal, comfortable, and stress-free as possible. In a client’s home, I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, bathroom breaks, fresh water, meals on schedule, and affection based on their individual personality and needs. I understand that many pets feel safest in their familiar environment, so I try to maintain the routines they’re used to while also keeping the home clean, secure, and well cared for. I pay close attention to behavior, body language, and energy levels so I can adapt care appropriately, whether a pet needs active play, mental stimulation, quiet companionship, or extra patience. My experience owning a reactive dog has made me especially mindful about creating calm interactions and respecting each animal’s comfort level and boundaries.

About: I have been a Pet Sitter, for cats and dogs, and I have walked dogs for my family and friends for years now. Pet Care has become a passion of mine! I have no problem keeping up with high-need or active animals. I am good at keeping animals calm and non-destructive by keeping them entertained and making sure they get their proper exercise. I have helped train 2 dogs recently. I am also good with older pets who may need a bit extra help. I am a part time worker so I have lots! Of time to play around with your pets! I am available most weekdays for casual things while I am available weekends for boarding! I have a big fenced in backyard that your pet can run around in! I have a older male Sheepadoodle that can keep your pet company. And you will always have the choice to ask for them to be kept separate. I will clean your pet’s paws with baby wipes after they come in from outside so that they return to you squeaky clean! I am located in a house so space is not an issue for your pet, and I can provide toys!

Nyah was on time and took great care of our dog squad. She must have tired them out pretty good because when I got home they were happy but not the usual spastic insane maniacs that I expected. I will look for her next I need a Rover.

Madison is extraordinary and we feel so lucky to have connected with her. The services and care she provided in our absence went above and beyond our expectations. She not only executed the agreed to basics for our two pups (one 50# special needs (IVDD/back leg partial paralysis) lovebug, the other a 60# goof that can just plain be a jerk) but also made sure to give them extra outside play / loved on them during her drop in visits. Additionally ensuring they were watered up, comfortable and cleaned up before leaving. Madison made sure in the daily report outs to give details to ensure we were kept informed and noted anything unusual. This is the first time I have been away in almost a year and Madison absolutely allowed me to have piece of mind that my pups were in excellent hands and that they were being cared as I would ... not an easy thing to do! She knocked it out of the park and will be my first choice any time the need arises. Very highly recommend to any and all.

About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember! I was a pet sitter via word of mouth in Florida but I just moved here so I'm trying to find new clients! I’ve cared for a variety of pets, from exotics (chinchillas, ferrets, squirrels, opossums, etc) to reptiles, rodents, dogs, and cats. I fostered exotics for three years before college and have cared for many animals with special medical needs as well. I am constantly around animals and love spending time getting to know their personalities and mannerisms. I am comfortable around all dogs or cats and am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your baby! When I come to take care of, play with, and walk your dogs I will dedicate my time to loving them like I love my own corgi, Winston. If they're social, I'd love to take them to the dog park or on long walks. I work in an office but my schedule is extremely flexible, allowing me to work from home on days I'm pet sitting. I am available for drops in or house sittings when needed! I am also flexible and can accept last minute bookings as needed. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I primarily work from home (remote) so I have a lot of time to help a busy pet owner out. I really enjoy meeting new animals and providing a space that’s comfortable for them. Since I stopped fostering, I only have a corgi who is completely friendly. If your pet requires full attention (or doesn’t like other dogs) my boyfriend can care for him :) I walk my dog everyday, usually for an hour to two hours aside from potty walks. I am able to provide medications, fulfill specific diet instructions and pet sit for as long as you’d like!

About: I have many years of experience with dogs. I worked with a vet in their boarding section for about two years and have multiple years of dog watching experience. I have a Great Pyrenees mix furbaby myself! I love working with all dogs and have experience working with all types of dogs. I make sure pups get the love, nurturing, and attention that they need! I take good care of our furbaby and ensure his safety is immaculate. I would make sure your furbaby is safe in his/her home and comfortable!

About: I have hands on veterinary assisting experience, strong understanding of animal behavior, and my ability to care for a wide range of species not just dogs and cats. I’m comfortable supporting pets with structure and routine. I have experience caring for neonate puppies who need consistency and extra monitoring, as well as senior pets who require patience, and gentle handling. I’m also confident handling large and powerful breeds. Pet care is already a central part of my daily life. I run an online freeze-dried raw pet treat business and spend most of my time working from home or actively caring for animals. At home, I spend a great deal of time with my own dogs through structured activities like long wooded walks, socialization, and desensitization work. I also work with clients who need support with whelping and early puppy care. I provide structured, calm care with safety as the priority. Dogs are supervised during free time and I believe in crate training as a positive tool for rest and security. Feeding is done separately to respect space, followed by quiet crate time after meals to help prevent bloat. Once rested, dogs return to supervised free time.

About: Have been taking care of dogs for the last 10 years - from the most relaxed/lazy dogs to hyperactive ones. Been a dog walker at a dog shelter for the last 6 months since moving to the area. I work full time but will be able to take care of dogs after work or over the weekends. Most holidays I am available (besides thanksgiving or Christmas - traveling home) I stay attentive while taking care of any dogs, especially on walks. I try to stay away from crowded areas, mainly because I don’t know what other people or animals will do. I usually try to spend much of my time with the dog and make sure they get enough exercise when I am with them.

About: I have been caring for animals for 30 years, starting with my own cats. Most recently I have been petsitting through trustedhousesitters, and I have completed 23 sits in seven different countries over six years. I have cared for dogs ranging from Chihuahua to Pit Bull Terrier, cats from Sphynx to Maine Coon. I petsat a blind and deaf puggle, foster cats that needed medication and strict dietary needs, and many more. I have petsat five dogs on a ranch in Montana for ten weeks during the winter, took care of eight dogs and cats plus street dogs and cats in Cozumel, Mexico, and four show English Cocker Spaniels in Iceland. From my extensive experience I am confident in my ability to care for any and all breeds of cats and dogs. I also love their companionship, cuddles, and purrs! Taking care of pets while I am home in Alabama or while I am traveling is the perfect fit for my seasonal lifestyle. I work temporary events all over the country and in between jobs I travel internationally and hike long trails. I love to visit and explore new places and having a ‘homebase’ and a built in friend (your precious pet) is the best way to have those new experiences. I find that with my solitary wandering lifestyle I miss the companionship of a pet so there are times when I need the affection of animals and receive their unconditional love as well! My intention is to care for pets just as the family does. After going over all the details with the clients about feeding times, walks, litterbox cleaning, etc. I follow their routines in order to stay consistent for the pet and reduce their potential anxiety due to the family's absence.

About: I love taking care of dogs and training them. It always brings me happiness when dogs show their personalities. I love all types of dogs hyper, calm, clingy, etc. They can whine till they dine and I will love it! I’ve been wanting to find something I truly enjoy and to me animals has always been what I wanted to pursue I currently am fully up for anything asked for. We have a very open fenced yard for dogs to run and play and even a patio that’s fully closed up so cats can enjoy some bird watching. About: I like to pay close attention to the detailed care list left by their owners so their pets are happy babies and their routines are met. I love sending pictures and updates to owners so they have a sense of peace when their babies are left with me. I have a great neighborhood for walks to get your baby out of the house if necessary. Please note: my availability is Fridays after 5:30pm. Thank you 💕 I’m currently working full time Monday through Friday. I have pretty relaxed weekends, which makes more time for me to love on your fur babies when you need a weekend away or a planned trip. I live in a condo with a great community that is very safe and a lot of outdoor amenities which makes for a great stroll outside. I had a mini Pomeranian that unfortunately passed due to heart complications in April 2026. So I now spend my free time at home doing crafts or enjoying the sunshine. Maybe your pet would like that too! I would love to here from you and watch your fur babies

Amy went above and beyond caring for our four dogs while we were away. Amy was on time for every drop in and provided detailed information for each dog during the drop in with the addition of photos. She is patient with the animals and makes sure they get all the attention and loving they need. Highly recommend Amy for your animal care needs.

Chantelle was great. She made the effort to come and meet our dogs ahead of time so they would be comfortable with each other. She took the time to actually play with them for a while when she visited them as well as feeding and making sure their physical needs were being met! We were actually able to relax and know that our ‘babies’ were happy! We would highly recommend her!
