About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have hands-on experience caring for pets of different sizes, ages, and energy levels. As a college athlete, I’m very active, so I love walking, playing, and keeping dogs engaged. I’ve worked with younger dogs who need patience and consistency, as well as older dogs who need a calmer, more attentive approach. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, administering basic medications, and making sure pets feel safe and cared for while you’re away. I treat every pet like my own and focus on building trust with both the dog and the owner. I’m a college student and athlete, so I’m responsible, disciplined, and used to sticking to a routine. I genuinely enjoy being around animals and staying active, so pet care fits naturally into my lifestyle. I’m dependable, communicative, and will always keep you updated so you feel comfortable while you’re away. My schedule is flexible, especially in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings outside of training and classes. I’m used to planning my day around responsibilities, so I can consistently fit in walks, check-ins, or overnight care. Pet care works well with my routine because I already stay active daily, and I enjoy getting outside and spending time with animals. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow your instructions closely, including feeding, medications, and routines. In your home, I respect your space and keep everything clean and secure. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are handled carefully to prevent any accidents. I stay attentive during walks and avoid unsafe environments. I also provide updates, photos, and communication so you always know your pet is in good hands.
“I appreciate Debbie so much for taking my last minute booking and supplying me with twice daily updates for my cat(as well as photos which are so important as a cat person). She was amazing!”

“Kaitlyn was very patient with my dogs. She responded in a timely manner and made a huge effort in attending to their needs. I really appreciated her persistence and willingness to work with my dogs:)”

“We got daily photos for our two Maine Coons…2 visits per day and Felicity was great! Reliable even when there was a lot going on personally she still came in and cared for our babies morning and evening, and she took our last minute booking due to a problem with a different Rover sitter she was able to do do the meet and greet prior and our cats seemed to take a liking to her and it showed as the days went by that they enjoyed her coming in for the visits! We were appreciative for her being company for the 2 of them and spending time feeding and playing with them and just “being” here when we could not be! Got amazing report card pictures which made us smile so thank you very much!! We missed them terribly! But you were here for our babies!!”

“Cynthia did an awesome job watching our three dogs. Communication was great, she sent lots of pictures and did exactly what we asked her to do. I highly recommend Cynthia if you need someone to watch your pups! We will definitely use her services again.”

“I could not have asked for better care for my cat while I was gone. Juyne took great care of him and communicated so well that I never had to wonder about the big fluffball. Thank you so much to you both, Juyne!”

“Emmie was great with our cats when we had to leave town on short notice. She took the time to come to the house, meet them, and learn about their routine. While we were gone, she sent updates and asked questions when needed. She took the initiative (after asking if it was ok) to bring a treat to coax one of our cats to take his meds. We returned to very happy and well cared for cats!”

“Brynn is wonderful. My skiddish dog took to her right away. She was prompt in making the appointments and she took the time to make sure my dogs had some good human interaction, while we were gone. I cannot say enough good things about Brynn. She will be our babies sitter from now on!!! Thank you for loving my babies, Brynn ❤️🧡💛💚”

“Austin was great at the meet and greet. He took notes and ask good questions. He has performed several drop ins and is learning how to work with my dogs. They can be difficult because they are afraid of new people but he is patient with them. We really appreciate his time and effort.”

“We are so happy to have Kira attending to Roscoe’s well-being when we go out of town. We appreciate how she keeps us informed during her visits. The two of them have obviously bonded.”

“August was great! She made time quickly to come meet our cats before she watched them and communicated well while we were gone! The cats warmed up to her well and we will for sure be using her for cat/dog care in the future!”

About: Working in a groomer’s shop taught me how to safely and confidently handle dogs of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. I also grew up around animals and now have 2 Golden Retrievers and a cat of my own, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I have experience with basic obedience training, crate training, housetraining, and helping pups learn good habits. I’ve also cared for a variety of other animals such as cats, rats, hamsters, and birds. I work remotely and set my own schedule, so I’m home all day with plenty of time to spend with my own dogs and yours. We live on 2 fully fenced acres, so the dogs get lots of outdoor time, play breaks, and supervision throughout the day. Every pet is different, and you know your pets best. I’m happy to follow whatever routines or preferences you have - feeding schedules, crate time, training rules, meds, anything you need. My goal is to keep your pet feeling safe, comfortable, and loved just like they are at home. I do slow, supervised introductions and keep a close eye during playtime to make sure everyone feels relaxed and secure.
“Katie has been the best! She has taken the best care of my boy Boone and has been very communicative through the whole process. If you need a reliable and trustworthy sitter for your beloved pets I can’t recommend her enough!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
