About: I’ve had all types of animals since the age of 5! Rabbits, dogs, cats, guinea pigs, turtles, and even rehab raccoons. I love all animals more than most things in the world, your pet will be in the best hands and care with me. Im currently working part time, and when I'm not working I'm home! I am home every night and will absolutely let your pet snuggle in bed if they want to I live in a 2 bedroom apartment with a fenced in dog park and miles of side walked back roads through our village to walk your pup on! I love to get my 10,000 steps everyday, and also be a couch potato, so if you have an active dog or a lazy dog i can adapt to whatever they need. Y

“Cheryl is fantastic! Prior to our trip, she stopped by to meet our cats and learn their schedule and preferences. We have 2 cats and one has a congenital heart condition (HCM) who takes medication twice a day. He can be a challenge to medicate but Cheryl was so patient and managed to get him to take his meds every single time. She also gave lots of attention, play time, and really went the extra mile to form a bond with our boys. I know she made them feel safe and well cared for as they were looking around for her after we got home 😂 She sent updates with eveey visit and really great photos (which we loved). Everything was so clean as well (our cats are messy!) Will definitely book her for our future trips. 10/10. Absolutely book with her if she is available!”

About: I’ve been around dogs for more than 25 years and have experience with a wide variety of breeds, personalities, sizes, and energy levels. Growing up, dogs were always part of my life, including Black Labs, Rottweilers, Weimaraners, Pit Bulls, Cocker Spaniels, and Great Pyrenees. I also grew up across from two horse farms, so being around animals has always been very natural and comfortable for me. Today, I have a Great Pyrenees named Simba, so I’m especially comfortable with large, strong dogs and understand the extra attention that can come with handling bigger breeds. I’m comfortable with dogs that are energetic, strong on the leash, or simply need someone patient and confident with them. I know every pet has their own personality, routine, and preferences, and I believe keeping those routines consistent is important when their family is away. I pay close attention to feeding instructions, walks, bathroom schedules, medications or special instructions provided by the owner, and the little things that help a pet feel comfortable and secure. Most importantly, I treat the pets in my care the way I would want someone to treat my own. I’m dependable, attentive, communicative, and happy to provide updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is being well cared for. My work schedule can vary, so I keep my Rover availability up to date and only accept bookings that I know I can fully commit to. I’m very intentional about making sure pets receive the time, attention, exercise, and companionship they need rather than overbooking myself. I understand how stressful it can be to leave a pet in someone else’s care, so reliability and communication are very important to me. My goal is for you to feel comfortable knowing your pet’s routine is being followed and they are getting plenty of attention while you’re away. Safety and consistency are always priorities for me. I carefully follow each pet owner’s instructions regarding feeding, fresh water, medications, bathroom breaks, walks, exercise, and household routines. I make sure doors, gates, leashes, harnesses, and other safety measures are secure, and I never assume that every pet can be handled the same way. I pay attention to body language, behavior, energy level, and anything that seems unusual. I also respect my clients’ homes and make an effort to leave everything clean and cared for. I grew up with dogs,cats,birds,various small caged animals and horses. I have learned to work with them all. I have 2 cats and a fish at home with me now. If you trust me in the care of your pets i promise you will not be disappointed. I will treat them like my very own. I can do home stays,check ins,walks and they can even stay with me at my home! I have my own transportation and a fulltime job as well but its a flexible enough job to make sure your furbabies are checked up on! I will give treats to them as often as you like, whichever kind they prefer and i can send you pics of us taking walks or just relaxing on the couch.
