He usually takes a little bit to warm up to someone, but by day 2 or 3 he was curled up on her lap in a photo she sent. What a relief! So happy I chose her. She also made sure to visit first, before she accepted, which I couldn’t have been happier about. This way she got to meet me and my cat and get the lay of the land with where everything was. Not everyone on Rover offers that, that’s for sure. She even went above and beyond. I realized that after I left my front door lock was losing power, I was so nervous it was going to go out and there would be no way for her to get in before the week was up, so I told her where everything was and asked if she can change the batteries and she did it immediately. About: I have 5 dogs that are my kids. I am a stay at home dog mom. Your dog will be my dog while in my care. 4 are small and 1 medium sized. They are all fixed, UTD on shots and heart worm. All adopted from different states and shelters. They are between the ages of 10 and 12, and 1 senior who we believe is about 16. They are only crated at night if I go out for an extended period of time, except Charlie, the old man, he is out 24/7. We live on a half acre, fully fenced back yard (5 ft aluminum with puppy pickets). They can get on the furniture if they want and I have dog beds throughout the house. My dogs typically get on very well with other dogs. I dog sit 2 dogs in my home a few times a year for a few days to a week at a time. 1 medium and 1 large. I have fostered various dogs for Big Fluffy Dog Rescue in the past and I have helped and run adoption events at Petco for about a year for Simpson County Animal Shelter/Friends of the Shelter in Franklin KY. I am a stay at home dog mom. I can pet sit any time of the day or week, for just a few hours, a day or overnights. I only leave the house to go to the store or run a few errands. Typically not out for extended periods. If I am dog sitting, I prefer to be at home as often as possible. I am always around my dogs. I have dog beds in all areas of the house. I keep an eye on them when they go outside. I play with them regularly. When I get a new foster dog, I usually will keep them leashed for a little while until they get acclimated and used to the other dogs. You, my customer are more than welcome to come into my house and yard and meet myself, and my dogs.

About: My husband and I work from home and would love to host your fur baby! We have a 7-pound maltipoo, Gizzie, who would love to snuggle with your pup in our bed. Our three cats are used to dogs being boarded in our home and don't mind the extra company. About: I have had a dog for over 25 years. Currently i own a feisty Maltipoo that thinks he owns me. I’m a mom of 4 and responsibility is very important to me. I am a person of my word and will do what i say i will do. I have a pretty flexible schedule as i set my own hours as a personal trainer (for humans 😉). I am open on weekends as well and will accept last minute bookings as well. I take my own dog to his own doggie day care (my mother in law’s house) so that he does not spend hours alone. I will do the same for clients’ pets so they get the care they need without feeling isolated too long.

About: Ive taken care of my own dogs and friends for about 3 years now. I love dogs so much and I hope to continue caring for them. I work full time during the day but I will walk or visit in between work meetings and play with them a ton at night. I will make sure they’re fed and have time inside and outside. About: Fun fact I used to be afraid of animals until I was about 12. Now I have 4 cats and have owned 6 dogs over the years. I have trained 3 of them to a basic degree and also own a snake. I love animals of all kinds and more often than not they warm up to me instantly! I am interested in summer work during the off season and am available most days almost anytime with some exceptions. I prefer mornings to mid afternoons but am very flexible! Standard house sitting includes overnight care plus daytime absences up to 4–8 hours depending on the pets’ needs. I also offer constant care for houses and pets for a custom rate depending on the individual and pets schedule! Since I have 4 cats and a human I cant board pets at home. But I have no issues staying over a night if needed, and can easily House-sit, Dog-sit, and Cat-sit in the greater Franklin area! I can feed, play, walk, provide potty breaks, and even teach dogs a trick or two.

“Michelle was fantastic! She has kept my pups on several occasions, and they were almost always on super short notice, but she came through every time. I have an elderly dog who has had multiple knee operations, that can be very anxious in new environments, and a husky that can be more than a handful at times, but Michelle is amazing and is able to meet their individual needs beyond what anyone could expect from a dog sitter. She is organized and professional and you can tell right off the bat how much she cares for all of the dogs that she cares for. I am so thankful to have her to take care of my pups when I can’t.
