“Sarah was exceptionally caring with my cats. She was very thoughtful, making sure she completely understood the instructions I provided. There were some complicated aspects regarding access to where I live, but she was able to sort everything out perfectly. She also got along very well with my cats, sent me lots of pictures and videos of them while I was away, and attended to all my cats' needs. I'm very grateful to her.”

“Noelle was amazing, and helped me on very short notice. She was very responsive and my dogs loved her. Will definitely use her again when I go out of town!”

“Alexis took wonderful care of my little ones (rabbit, hamsters, and fish). She read and followed all of my instructions exactly, and communicated with me if she had any questions. Will be reaching back out to her next time I need help!”
“Katherine was fantastic! She had a great personality and was so enthusiastic about meeting our pups right away- they were immediately happy and comfortable with her. We had an unexpected 6 hour flight delay, and she went above and beyond by accepting a last minute booking on a Sunday night to come back to our house to take care of them. The level of flexibility and reliability gave us a huge peace of mind while we were traveling. We are grateful for her help and will definitely be booking with Katherine again.”

About: I've had dogs and cats since I was a child and took full time care of them. For the last three years I've worked in the animal care field. My most recent experience and main asset was a role at an animal hospital as a receptionist and co-manager of their boarding facility. This required addressing any and all pet needs including administering medication, bathing, providing meals at designated times and most fulfilling to me, lots of play time. Caring for your babies brings me much pride and joy! I'm currently in between jobs and am looking for something fulfilling to take up some of my free time as well as get some exercise, fresh air and added animal companionship. Once working full time I will still be available in evenings and weekends. I live in an apartment so that makes the care I would want to provide to my dog not up to par. So I have three cats that are the best in the world and spoiled on an hourly basis, They are well fed, well groomed, have regular vet visits, get plenty of treats and playtime and think they are in charge. Yes, they own me.
About: Teacher by day, animal lover by always. Let me become your pet’s newest comfort human. With 12+ years of experience, my passion and patience will fulfill your pet care needs. I teach full time, and have a dog of my own. However, I make time for what’s important! Your pet will be a priority for their entire booking. I’m very good at following instructions and taking cues from your furry best friend. I often go above and beyond in making sure they have what they need and that everything is taken care of when you have other things to attend to.
“Connie was great!! She did drop-in visits for our fur babies while we were on vacation and our other sitter was at work. She let them out and played with them. The doggies all looked very happy in the photos she took! Thanks!”

About: I love all dogs and I have had dogs my whole life. I currently have a dog named Eddie who is 6 years old. My family has many dogs of different sizes and needs. I have experience with giving dogs medicine, anxiety & dogs that aren’t good with other dogs. I do work full time during the week from home. I am not able to watch other pets in my home at this time. I can visit your home for drop ins and walks as needed. I work from home with pretty flexible hours to tend to your pet as needed. I have free time after work and on weekends for longer breaks. I currently cannot watch other animals in my home but will happily come to yours! I will treat your home and pet like my own.

About: Since I was young I’ve been raised around cats and dogs (12 to be exact), loving animals is a lifetime commitment to me! Whenever my parents would go out of town, I would be in charge of keeping the house safe and our pets. This includes the typical responsibilities as well as providing medical care to our older pets, diabetes shots daily, hip and joint treats with every dinner, even temporary medicines after small procedures. Since I was young, my mother and I were a part of a nonprofit organization run by her best friend called pawsitive difference in Las Vegas, this entailed, not only volunteering at adoption meets, but also even as far as picking up strays off the street taking them to get medical care and fostering until we found them homes. I’ve loved every pet I’ve had temporarily and long-term, along with all the ones I’ve yet to meet! As far as my experience goes, I’ve pet sit for my own as well as friends of the family and for other great dog sitters. I’m doing this until I get my own dog just because I miss having one in the house since moving and I would love nothing more to help your fur babies in any way I can! I’m currently always home taking care of house day-to-day errands until I start hair school in a few months so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I live in suburban neighborhood of mostly families, which is great for walking dogs and lots of grass to play in. I do like to walk with a leash just for safety purposes, even if your pets are trained to not need one to prevent any unnecessary issues. I do have a friendly very old cat, but she mostly stays in my roommates bedroom sleeping the day away, so there won’t be much contact with her and your pet will have my full attention!
About: I’ve been helping take care of animals for the last 10 years! Always ready to meet a new furry friend, and in case yours needs a friend my puppy would love to meet yours. I’ve trained her since she was 4 months old and she is always sweet, energetic and playful! I have a very flexible schedule and work remotely so I can work around mostly any schedule. A few days a week I do go on hikes or long walks with my dog, then spend some time with friends. I live with my dog in a decent neighborhood, there is a dog park very close by that I can bring your puppy to with mine! My dog Aayla, is a very sweet and gentle puppy who gets very excited to meet new friends. She is crate trained and can be put away if she over stimulates yours and she has plenty of toys she would love to share!
About: My dogs have been my best friends my entire life! For the past 4 years, I have trained and fostered mobility service dogs, providing experience with many tools and training styles. I spent 2.5 years fostering a service dog from puppyhood to placement as a full-time service dog. I also have experience working with dog reactive dogs and puppies. I work in schools during the day, so I will be able to care for your pet early mornings and late afternoons/evenings. I am also available for Friday-Sunday dog sitting. Your dog's safety and wellness will always be my priority! I have a lot of experience and knowledge with dog body language, so I will do my best to keep your pup relaxed and happy. A happy dog is an enriched dog, so I will work to give your dog mental and physical enrichment.
About: I have experience caring for cats, including those with anxiety and overgrooming. I currently care for my own cat and focus on keeping a calm, consistent environment. I’m comfortable with feeding, litter box care, medications, and paying attention to behavior changes. I take time to build trust with each cat and always provide updates and photos. I also grew up with puppies. I have experienced walking, going potty, and playing! Pet care fits naturally into my routine, especially in the evenings and on weekends. I have a consistent schedule and am available Wednesday through Friday in the evenings and Saturdays during the day. I already care for my own cat daily, so feeding, cleaning, and spending quality time with pets is something I’m used to. I plan my schedule carefully to make sure each pet gets reliable, on-time care and attention. In a client’s home, I follow your cat’s normal routine to keep things as stress-free as possible. I handle feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, and playtime or quiet companionship depending on your cat’s personality. I take a calm, patient approach, especially with shy or anxious cats, and never force interaction. I also monitor behavior, administer medications if needed, and send regular updates with photos so you feel at ease while you’re away.
“Kaylene walked our dogs for the first time today. It's evident she is a competent professional with lots of experience handling dogs with a wide variety of temperaments and behaviors, and I look forward to inviting her back for all our future dog walking needs!”

“Katie is amazing! My pup had the best time with her this past weekend! She sends great updates with photos for every check-in. Katie was a lifesaver and was even able to accommodate my last-minute extension, which I’m so grateful to her for!! I would definitely recommend Katie, and will be using her again in the future😊”

“Meaghan and Caleb took awesome care of our cat while we were out of town- gave him lots of love and sent lots of pictures so we would not worry! Would definitely recommend to anyone and would book again!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Pegram with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
