About: I have two dogs. One's getting older, the other raised from a puppy. I like cats too. I'll treat your pets like mine, lots of love. On my days off, I'm free all day, minus time to take care of my dogs. I'll adjust my availability as needed. For advance jobs I can request off. I have two friendly dogs and a big fenced backyard. On visits I will play with/walk your pups till they're tuckered out or just pet them if they're low energy. I won't bring my dogs if I'm going to you.

About: I love any chance to engage and care for dogs: dropping in for neighbors' dogs as needed, volunteering with rescue, a bit of experience as a vet assistant, watching friends' dogs as if they were my own, and having had the honor of tending to every need of our own dog for her 17 years are experiences that have filled my life. I seek learning about canine health, behavior and current practices to ensure dogs are understood, supported, given every chance to be their best selves & live their best life. After all, they are perfect right? My schedule is flexible and self-managed. After recently ending a 22 year career in advertising, I am experiencing a new and exciting life shift and exploring what opportunities exist. I'm certain I prefer meetings with dogs over conference call meetings! Walks will involve leashing prior to door opening to safeguard, managing interactions with people and other dogs (whatever is best for your dog and your comfort level) and free sniffing to make the adventure full! Our yard is fenced and we rarely allow dogs unattended. This practice is for the obvious general safety aspect, but also to be able to observe potty progress, engage exploration and energy burn and maintain overall awareness of the dog's activity. Our home is child-free and currently dog-free.
