Finley was a 120lb gentle giant, so I am highly experienced with large breeds and dogs of all sizes. I work from home, so that makes it really easy to care for an extra pet when I can. I currently have two cats in my home, and they have their own space, so if your dog is unsure with cats, that would not be a big issue. I grew up in a home that always had multiple cats and at least one dog at a time. I have experience working with dogs with special needs (blind & feeding issues), small dogs, large dogs, young dogs, puppies, and senior dogs. Working from home also leaves great flexibility with boarding, and helps ensure that your dog(s) will never be left for long amounts of time! About: I've grown up around animals my whole life and absolutely love them!! I have always had an animal in my house all my life! I am not afraid of animals and would love to help anyone out! I’m a nurse, looking to help out in my off days!! I use rover myself and have a night energy golden so totally relate and would love to help you and your pups out! I currently live in a house with two other roomies and my 2 year old very friendly and playful golden retriever! Happy to come to you as well!
About: I’ve had pets my entire life and grew up helping care for dogs of all sizes and breeds. My dad owns a farm, so I’m very comfortable around larger dogs, including our Bernese Mountain Dog and two German Shepherd mixes, while also caring for smaller breeds like my Yorkie. Over the years, I’ve helped with feeding, walking, grooming, playtime, and everyday care, so I’m confident handling different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I’ve also dog-sat multiple times for family friends, many of whom have continued to use my services year after year, which I believe speaks to my reliability and trustworthiness. In addition, I have experience caring for multiple pets at once, including senior dogs and households with different types of animals, such as dogs and birds together. These experiences have made me patient, attentive, adaptable, and genuinely passionate about caring for animals. Pet care fits easily into my routine because I’m currently working part-time and have a flexible schedule. I’ve also grown up around animals my whole life, so feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and checking in on pets are already a normal part of my day. I enjoy being active and spending time outside, and I’m reliable when it comes to maintaining routines and making sure pets feel comfortable, cared for, and well attended to. Safety, trust, and comfort are the most important parts of pet care to me. I make sure pets are always supervised, secure, and cared for in a calm and positive environment. I pay close attention to routines, behavior changes, feeding instructions, and any special needs to help pets feel comfortable and reduce stress while their owners are away. I also understand how important trust is when someone is caring for your pets and entering your home. I’m dependable, respectful, and communicative, and I always strive to treat every pet and home with care. Having experience with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and ages—including senior dogs—has taught me to be patient, attentive, and adaptable in different situations.

When I got recommended the app, I was a bit skeptical, but after meeting Chris and seeing his interaction with Mattis, I was comfortable and knowing that he’d be left in some good hands. As we went on vacation out of the country Chris kept us informed with scheduled messages and rapid communication anytime I reached out. The large fenced yard was his playground while we were away and we could attend to family business and travel without any worry whatsoever! We are grateful to have found this excellent Rover family, especially considering our trip was very "last-minute" with little opportunity for planning in advance. “I’m so glad I found Janey. I needed someone that could care for my pup for a couple days, but also give him his scheduled medication for his allergies. Janey was on top of it and did not hesitate. Janey also provided daily updates with photos. You can tell Janey genuinely loves what she’s does and is passionate about caring for dogs. She is not only great at what she does, but she also has a very clean home with a huge backyard for Lucky to run around. That’s always a plus! I would book her again and highly recommend.”
