About: I have extensive experience with pets of all shapes, sizes, ages, breeds, types, colors, and temperaments. I have owned dogs, cats, turtles, frogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, and a lizard. (I once had a pet worm in an animal cracker box. I thought he would like living in a little zoo.) For 7 years I took care of my disabled mom as well as 5 dogs and 2 cats. During that time, I also worked as a foster volunteer for Music City Pug Rescue–most of which were geriatric surrenders whose owners had passed away or moved into a nursing facility. While I questioned my own sanity at the time, looking back now, those were some of the very best days of my life! Today I only have one dog, Marley, (my lucky charm rescue–a Tibetan Terrier who was just hours away from euthanasia when I saw his picture online) and I am renting my home. So while I can't board your pets, I am happy to take care of them at their own home! Sadly I have lost pets to terrible chronic illnesses like cancer and diabetes. I've been through two torn ACL surgeries, one hip surgery, blindness, deafness, and incontinence. My current pup, little Marley, has been paralyzed twice. The first time, I was able to afford an expensive back surgery. But when it happened again six months post-op, I rehabilitated him myself. Now, 6 years later, he's still walking! I thank God every morning and night for giving me another day with him. My experience caring for all of these dogs and their health problems means that I know how to care for their special needs. Whether it's taking a dog to weekly chemo treatments or giving him two shots of insulin each day, I am capable of caring for your pets and promise to do so just like they are my own. Whether it's for a few minutes, a few days, or even a few weeks, I would love to spoil your pet(s) with lots of hugs,and kisses. Not to mention walks, toys, fur brushings, head massages, playtimes, and treats–at your request, of course! Plu$, I am always willing to work with you on rates, so don't hesitate to make an offer. While I only have availability to sit 41 dog at my home during the day, I am enabled to stay at your home for half an hour....or 24 -- or even a couple of weeks if that's what you need! (While I have extended stay rates listed, I am open to discussing long-term or permanent services, too. Just ask!) I do have a small dog and I take him with me everywhere. So if you do need someone for overnight services at your home, I will be bringing him with me. I will treat your canine and/or feline fur babies (or scaly ones!) just like they're my own. Likewise, I will care for your home with respect and with the utmost confidentiality. I can be as discreet as you need me to be, or I can take your pets to visit their friends if that's what you want me to do. For at-home pet sitting, I will meet with you and your pets beforehand to give you peace of mind. We can get as detailed as you want. Whether you give me a typed document outlining their care plan, or just hand me a key and tell me when to stop by, I am happy to accommodate you either way!

Drop off and pick up: ***All dogs must be on a leash at drop off as we have free range chickens on the property. All dogs will be on a leash at pick up to load into your car. Drop off and pick up hours 8 am-10 am and 4-6 pm unless otherwise agreed upon between dog parents and host. Please notify us if you are going to be late and how late. Fees may apply for late drop off or pick up. New clients: If this is your first time staying at Autumn Valley Dog Retreat, we require a meet and greet within 3 days of your booking request. If the M&G is not completed the request may be cancelled. If your requested stay is longer than a weekend for first time guest, we may request a client paid overnight trial before confirming a week or longer. Crate policy: Dogs will be crated in our home for short periods if we are away to run an errand. This is for the safety of visiting dogs, our own dogs, and our home. Dogs will be crated at night for sleeping. We gladly accept your personal crates while visiting or your personal beds or blankets. Please add any questions to your booking request! We are a family of four with 2 beagles who will love and care and exercise your pups. I have a fenced in yard and 2 friendly medium sized dogs to keep your pup company. We will crate sleep the visiting dogs at night.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and could not imagine life without them! Pets deserve all of the attention and love even when you’re gone. I understand the stress of having to leave your pup and can assure you they’ll be in great hands! We’ll go on walks, play throughout the day and snuggle at night. I work from home full time. I am here to hang with them and keep them busy while you are gone. I take my own pup on daily walks and Riley loves to have a friend around. I have lots of grass around my apartment and a big dog park for them to play. I also love going on walks with them and being active if that’s what they like!

About: Hello! I’m a single mother currently looking for some extra income and I can’t think of a better way to do that than to do it with furry friends! I work from home, so that makes it really easy to care for an extra pet when I can. I currently have two cats in my home, and they have their own space, so if your dog is unsure with cats, that would not be a big issue. I grew up in a home that always had multiple cats and at least one dog at a time. I have experience working with dogs with special needs (blind & feeding issues), small dogs, large dogs, young dogs, puppies, and senior dogs. I currently work from home, so my days are pretty flexible for walks and drop-ins. Working from home also leaves great flexibility with boarding, and helps ensure that your dog(s) will never be left for long amounts of time! I have a small fenced in yard, though it does not include grass, I do have a very big field nearby, which I’d be happy to run around with a dog (leashed). I have two cats, both of which are friendly with other animals. I do have a young son, but he is very respectful of pets and is with his dad every other weekend.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats and horses most of my life and just generally enjoy their company. I am familiar w administering meds, adept at noticing issues and detail oriented. I am available full time during the week at my home and can do morning and evening drop-ins as well. Overnight stays are available as well. I have a fenced in yard, a pool for those that like to swim. A large area for running when weather permits. My home includes two kitty cats and one medium-sized gentle doodle who enjoys playing and snoozing depending on what your dog enjoys. :)

About: I am a work-from-home (dog) mom. I have two Australian Shepherds, who I have raised since they were both 8 weeks old, so I have experience with very high energy dogs/puppies. They are very well behaved with other dogs, and love to socialize. I have always grown up with dogs since I was 4 years old, and couldn’t imagine not having a dog at any age. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I am able to give constant attention throughout the day, including regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and feeding! Since I am home a lot of the time, pets are not alone for long periods of time. I also love to stay active, so walks & outdoor time are regular parts of my day. At home, I create a safe, comfortable and low-stress environment. With my two dogs, I often watch my best friend’s dog, so I am very used to managing multiple dogs. I also have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time. If a clients dog prefers its own time/space, I can accommodate due to having multiple floors/rooms in my home for separation. When caring for a clients dog in their home, I’m very respectful of their space and stick to the schedule I am told. I also provide updates such as photos and videos so the owner is more comfortable!

I sent an inquiry at 8:30 the night before, and Alexis responded within a couple of minutes! She was also great at reporting in and sending photos. About: I have been taking care of animals ever since I was about 15. Growing up I was always surrounded by animals, so naturally I turned out to be the biggest animal lover! We had super large dogs and super small dogs so I have tremendous experience with all different types of doggies, and love them all equally! At 15 I began to not only care for my own animals but I started to care for others. I began dog walking and pet sitting as a side job and have been doing it ever since. I am experienced with administrating medicine orally and do well with senior dogs & puppies as well. I am available to take care of just about any of your pups needs! From making sure they are taken care of to making sure they are having the best time! I love to go on runs and will make sure your doggy is in the best hands. I work from home on M,T,W, & F 7am-4:30pm. I have open availability on Thursday, Saturday, and sundays. I have flexible scheduling since I work from home. I live in an apartment complex so there is no fenced in yard. However, we have a dog park in my complex and tons of outside area for dogs to explore while on a leash. I have two cats at my home but they are both very friendly and don’t pay dogs any attention.
