Drop off and pick up: ***All dogs must be on a leash at drop off as we have free range chickens on the property. All dogs will be on a leash at pick up to load into your car. Drop off and pick up hours 8 am-10 am and 4-6 pm unless otherwise agreed upon between dog parents and host. Please notify us if you are going to be late and how late. Fees may apply for late drop off or pick up. New clients: If this is your first time staying at Autumn Valley Dog Retreat, we require a meet and greet within 3 days of your booking request. If the M&G is not completed the request may be cancelled. If your requested stay is longer than a weekend for first time guest, we may request a client paid overnight trial before confirming a week or longer. Crate policy: Dogs will be crated in our home for short periods if we are away to run an errand. This is for the safety of visiting dogs, our own dogs, and our home. Dogs will be crated at night for sleeping. We gladly accept your personal crates while visiting or your personal beds or blankets. Please add any questions to your booking request! We look forward to meeting you. This summer I will be home enjoying our farm and dog retreat while on break from school schedule as a special education team member. We are a family of four with 2 beagles who will love and care and exercise your pups. I have a fenced in yard and 2 friendly medium sized dogs to keep your pup company. We will crate sleep the visiting dogs at night.

About: Hello! I’m a single mother currently looking for some extra income and I can’t think of a better way to do that than to do it with furry friends! I work from home, so that makes it really easy to care for an extra pet when I can. I currently have two cats in my home, and they have their own space, so if your dog is unsure with cats, that would not be a big issue. I grew up in a home that always had multiple cats and at least one dog at a time. I have experience working with dogs with special needs (blind & feeding issues), small dogs, large dogs, young dogs, puppies, and senior dogs. I currently work from home, so my days are pretty flexible for walks and drop-ins. Working from home also leaves great flexibility with boarding, and helps ensure that your dog(s) will never be left for long amounts of time! I have a small fenced in yard, though it does not include grass, I do have a very big field nearby, which I’d be happy to run around with a dog (leashed). I have two cats, both of which are friendly with other animals. I do have a young son, but he is very respectful of pets and is with his dad every other weekend.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and could not imagine life without them! Pets deserve all of the attention and love even when you’re gone. I understand the stress of having to leave your pup and can assure you they’ll be in great hands! We’ll go on walks, play throughout the day and snuggle at night. I work from home full time. I am here to hang with them and keep them busy while you are gone. I take my own pup on daily walks and Riley loves to have a friend around. About: **Due to extreme heat this summer I will use my discretion with shortening walks for your dog’s health** Current work schedule: I go in office 3 days a week but I can possibly I can flex my days. Available for services with that in mind! I need at least a week for new clients to schedule a meet & greet! I do not accept daycare & boarding without one because I require our pets to meet ahead of time so we can assess if they would be a good fit together. Aside from growing up with small dogs all around, I have solo cared for my senior rescue for the last 6 years up until his passing of old age. I have experience with both puppy and senior dog care, and am very careful with any physical concerns such as arthritis. I have experience administering oral medication both through treats and syringing food. I will love to hang out with your baby whether it’s going on walks, playing, or just coexisting - I’ve done it all. The best feeling I have is knowing I’ve given my dog a life full of love and enrichment, and I’m happy to help as you do the same for yours. I also have owned a cat and cat sit for friends and am more than happy to drop in on them and show them some love! I am definitely also a huge cat lady. I am very patient and understanding that I am a visitor to your pet and I will respect their boundaries while they are under my care. In case of emergency, I already have Battleground (Royal Oaks), Bluepearl (Mallory) and Banfield (Carothers) info saved and have experience with all 3 vets in Franklin. I currently have a full time job, but am generally off by 3-4 and my nights and weekends are pretty open! Some days I work from home so I’m around the area. I currently live in a 1BR apartment, have a balcony but there are paths and a dog park even within my complex, so there’s no shortage of areas to walk! I always keep my babies on leash.
