Her dogs are so cute , and friendly, and my dog had such a fun time with them. In fact it was a plus!!! Her husband was also very kind with Liam. I highly recommend Simone.. and I would use her again in a heartbeat!!”

About: “I have years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all sizes and personalities. What sets me apart is my attention to detail and genuine love for animals — I treat every pet like my own. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or cuddle time, I make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. **Please have your dog freshly bathed before their stay “Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. Whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening cuddles, I’ll make sure your furry friend gets plenty of love and attention.” “In my home, pets get a safe, comfortable environment with plenty of playtime, walks, and snuggles — I follow their normal routine so they feel right at home. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and stick closely to each pet’s usual schedule, whether that’s feeding, walks, medications, or cuddle time. My goal is always to keep pets happy, comfortable, and stress-free, no matter where they are.”
“I’ve used Rover in more cities and states than I can count while traveling with Hal, and the experiences have nearly always been excellent. But Samantha is in a class all her own. She’s professional, loving, enthusiastic, flexible, and genuinely caring — everything you could hope for in someone looking after your dog. Her communication was outstanding, with thoughtful updates and great photos throughout Hal’s stay. I always felt completely at ease knowing he was in her hands. If there were a six-star option, I’d give it without hesitation. Thank you, Samantha — truly!”
“Alexandrea took great care of our dogs and was very flexible with our drop off and pick up times. I highly recommend her as a pet sitter if you are looking for one in this area!”

About: **Due to extreme heat this summer I will use my discretion with shortening walks for your dog’s health** Current work schedule: I go in office 3 days a week but I can possibly I can flex my days. Available for services with that in mind! I need at least a week for new clients to schedule a meet & greet! I do not accept daycare & boarding without one because I require our pets to meet ahead of time so we can assess if they would be a good fit together. Aside from growing up with small dogs all around, I have solo cared for my senior rescue for the last 6 years up until his passing of old age. I have experience with both puppy and senior dog care, and am very careful with any physical concerns such as arthritis. I have experience administering oral medication both through treats and syringing food. I will love to hang out with your baby whether it’s going on walks, playing, or just coexisting - I’ve done it all. The best feeling I have is knowing I’ve given my dog a life full of love and enrichment, and I’m happy to help as you do the same for yours. I also have owned a cat and cat sit for friends and am more than happy to drop in on them and show them some love! I am definitely also a huge cat lady. I am very patient and understanding that I am a visitor to your pet and I will respect their boundaries while they are under my care. In case of emergency, I already have Battleground (Royal Oaks), Bluepearl (Mallory) and Banfield (Carothers) info saved and have experience with all 3 vets in Franklin. I currently have a full time job, but am generally off by 3-4 and my nights and weekends are pretty open! Some days I work from home so I’m around the area. I currently live in a 1BR apartment, have a balcony but there are paths and a dog park even within my complex, so there’s no shortage of areas to walk! I always keep my babies on leash.
“Kassandra was awesome with our puppy! He was well taken care of and came home happy and exhausted from playing. He is a 16 week old lab and he loves to play! I was very blessed with a day off from puppy duty and would highly recommend her! Thank you Kassandra!”

About: My family and I live on a farm with our Border Collie, Solo, our Toy Australian Shepherd, Scout, 2 indoor cats, Snowy and Speedy, at least 2 barn cats, Mama Kitty and Glitter, 3 horses, Magic, Radi and Jazzy and 8 sweet chickens. There are always animals around the farm to feed, water, brush and enjoy playing with for everyone! My family, along with my 8 and 10 year old kids, have helped take care of many friends dogs, cats and chickens when they are out of town and we would love to help you out as well. We understand how hard it is to leave your fur babies and worry about them while you are trying to enjoy vacation with your friends and family or trying to concentrate at work. We have had dogs and cats from the time they were puppies and kittens until they lived to be 16 years old. I currently take care of all the animals on the farm, with a little help from the kids! Plus, my partner has worked as a vet tech and trained both dogs and horses, working with and around animals for 25 years! Your sweet fur baby will be in great hands with us! After finishing remodeling our house and with both kids finally in school, I have lots of time during your workdays to help with all your fur babies! And during the summer, the kids love to help me with all the animals! I love caring for and loving all animals! I would love to come hang out, walk, feed, brush, play and check in on them during the work day! I love having a flexible schedule to be able to help with your sweet animals while still being able to pick up my children from school and attend their activities. They also love all animals and may come with me to help take care of them when it is safe and the opportunity allows!
About: I've taken care of animals of all kinds - elderly/special needs/puppy dogs, cats, bunnies, hedgehogs - you name it! I believe they are the best form of unconditional love and want each animal to know how special their existence is. I'm a single mom who works part time. I am available to help you with your pet sitting needs. My schedule is very flexible and I will confirm requirements with you before accepting the assignment. I have a large fully-fenced yard. I also have three dogs to keep your fur-babies company. And, I am absolutely able to crate your animal(s) if neeeded.
About: Hi! I’m Taylor, and I’d love to care for your dog as if they were part of our family. I’ve been a dog owner and animal lover my entire life, and caring for pets has always been something I genuinely enjoy. My husband and I have a sweet, friendly Goldendoodle who loves other dogs, and we have a fully fenced backyard where pups can safely play, explore, and burn off energy throughout the day. I work from home full-time with a flexible schedule, so your dog will receive plenty of attention—not just before and after work. Whether your pup enjoys long walks, playing fetch, lounging on the couch, or simply having someone nearby, I’m able to adapt to their normal routine and provide companionship throughout the day. I also offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and boarding. I’m comfortable caring for adult dogs, senior dogs, and pets who need daily medication. We can crate your dog if that’s part of their routine, and our home has baby gates available if your pup needs their own quiet space. Because we have a toddler, I do ask that dogs staying in our home are comfortable around young children and friendly with other dogs. My goal is to create a calm, safe environment where everyone feels comfortable.
“Karen was fantastic in taking care of Echo during a doggy day care visit. Plenty of photos and clearly a happy dog when I picked her up. I highly recommend Karen and will be using her again in the future. Thanks!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs of every age and I treat every pup like they’re part of my own family. I grew up with dogs and have one spoiled little sidekick of my own, Arlo! A 7 year old mini Australian Shepherd :) Because I work remotely, I’m home all day and fully available to keep your dog safe, entertained, and cared for. Your pup gets my full attention and the kind of care I’d want for my own while I’m away! We take two longer walks a day - in the morning and around dinner time. In between, we walk at lunchtime and play in the yard.
“Mary Beth, wonderful host for Bentley he was immediately at home. She and her lovely family took great care of him. He was only there for maybe close to 4 hours, but it was a worry free time for me. I highly recommend her services.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Franklin
Our Ziggy couldn't have been more happy than she was in her day at Christine's! Christine is a true animal lover and she and her husband's dog Nala was an instant friend with Ziggy. Nala and Ziggy played all day and enjoyed each other's company. Christine communicated well and even taught us a new trick on how to encourage our puppy to eat her food. Whenever we're back in Nashville, we hope Ziggy can have another great day at Christine's.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
