About: I had a pet-sitting service for 15 years, and then I started caring for dogs in my home through Dog Vacay. I took a break to care for my ailing mother and then I became a Nanny to a newborn boy. He is now 4 years old and my services are no longer needed. I am also a missionary to Uganda. I've been helping with a woman's ministry since 2007. I can not be idle, so I'm reactivating my Rover profile. I’m available for Drop-In visits or House Sitting. I am retiring as a Nanny and I am reactivating my Rover account. I’m not taking care of pets in my home, but I can come to you; Drop-Ins and House Sitting. While I am in your home, I will also bring in your mail/packages, water your plants, and bring in or take out your trash bins. I can come to you, Drop-Ins or House Sitting. While I’m there with your pets, I will also bring in your mail, trash in & out, water your plants, etc.

About: I’m a homeowner with a huge fenced in backyard. I WFH so potty breaks and play time is not a problem. I have a 70lb golden retriever who loves to play. I take my own dog for a minimum of two walks a day. Most days I get out three or four times. I have a huge fenced in backyard for in between walks. I have a very sweet 5 year old golden who loves other dogs. I have experimented caring for super young all the way to end of life care for senior dogs.

Drop off and pick up hours 8 am-10 am and 4-6 pm unless otherwise agreed upon between dog parents and host. Please notify us if you are going to be late and how late. Fees may apply for late drop off or pick up. New clients: If this is your first time staying at Autumn Valley Dog Retreat, we require a meet and greet within 3 days of your booking request. If the M&G is not completed the request may be cancelled. If your requested stay is longer than a weekend for first time guest, we may request a client paid overnight trial before confirming a week or longer. Crate policy: Dogs will be crated in our home for short periods if we are away to run an errand. This is for the safety of visiting dogs, our own dogs, and our home. Dogs will be crated at night for sleeping. We gladly accept your personal crates while visiting or your personal beds or blankets. Please add any questions to your booking request! We are a family of four with 2 beagles who will love and care and exercise your pups. I have a fenced in yard and 2 friendly medium sized dogs to keep your pup company. We will crate sleep the visiting dogs at night.

About: I have been volunteering at a dog shelter for the past 4 years and it has been wonderful, I got to indulge myself in the love and care for dogs, cats and other animals and i got to understand the love and attention they need. It made me realize how amazing animals are to us. I also eventually dog sit for multiple people, and dog walk around my neighborhood. I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm available for boarding on weekends, and weekdays after 5-5:30. As I am in school and im on the bowling team for school. I have two precious Cavapoo and they are super playful and they love company, if there is another dog at my house I typically take them out on a leash just for safety purposes. If there is anything else people would like me to do i would be understanding. Kennel, puppy pee pad, etc.

About: I have 5 dogs that are my kids. I am a stay at home dog mom. Your dog will be my dog while in my care. 4 are small and 1 medium sized. They are all fixed, UTD on shots and heart worm. All adopted from different states and shelters. They are between the ages of 10 and 12, and 1 senior who we believe is about 16. They are only crated at night if I go out for an extended period of time, except Charlie, the old man, he is out 24/7. We live on a half acre, fully fenced back yard (5 ft aluminum with puppy pickets). They can get on the furniture if they want and I have dog beds throughout the house. My dogs typically get on very well with other dogs. I dog sit 2 dogs in my home a few times a year for a few days to a week at a time. 1 medium and 1 large. I have fostered various dogs for Big Fluffy Dog Rescue in the past and I have helped and run adoption events at Petco for about a year for Simpson County Animal Shelter/Friends of the Shelter in Franklin KY. I am a stay at home dog mom. I can pet sit any time of the day or week, for just a few hours, a day or overnights. I only leave the house to go to the store or run a few errands. Typically not out for extended periods. If I am dog sitting, I prefer to be at home as often as possible. I am always around my dogs. I have dog beds in all areas of the house. I keep an eye on them when they go outside. I play with them regularly. When I get a new foster dog, I usually will keep them leashed for a little while until they get acclimated and used to the other dogs. You, my customer are more than welcome to come into my house and yard and meet myself, and my dogs.

We can crate your dog if that’s part of their routine, and our home has baby gates available if your pup needs their own quiet space. Because we have a toddler, I do ask that dogs staying in our home are comfortable around young children and friendly with other dogs.
