“Alexis was great! She is very laid back and was totally reassuring, since we were nervous, first time puppy parents. Our 4 month old golden retriever had the best time! I think he even learned crate training from Alexis and Finn! I see why they're always booked - great experience! ”

“Karri is awesome! Very caring; great communication. I never worried that my pup was in good hands. She took special care to ensure my pet was well cared for and helped her through separation anxiety.”

“Juniper had such a great time. She came home exhausted and happy. We could tell that she was well taken care of and loved on especially by the sweet kiddos. We will definitely bring her back :)”

“Huri has been the best with my Addie Mae! She has been great at updating me and sending me photo updates! And she helped me out and gave her a bath! I’m so thankful I found someone that Addie and I love and I feel so much better having to leave her when I know how happy and well taken care of she is!”

“We are so thankful we found Deborah. Our pup had the best time and came home so happy. Deborah sent regular pictures and updates and made us feel at ease that our girl was being taken care of :)”

“This is my first time getting a dog sitter so I was a little nervous, but Christy did an amazing job! She kept me up to date every day multiple times a day and sent multiple pictures everyday. I hope I’m lucky enough to leave him with you if I ever go out of town again. Thank you!”

“Anita was great. I get nervous leaving Gracie when I travel and she put me at ease too. I loved seeing the video of Gracie exploring the yard and being so happy. Absolutely will reach back out when I travel again.”

“Amazing stay for our pup Grace …. thanks for keeping her safe when the leash broke. I can only imagine what that must have felt like for you. Next stay Grace will be on an e-collar, but she will respond to a leash as well. It’s more of a tickle prompt to get her attention for no pulling on the leash. Thanks so much for loving out pup.”

“We got lots of pictures and videos of Mimi during her stay and it was clear she was happy and comfortable! We are so grateful for the peace of mind that she was well cared for.”

Rosie got the royalty treatment- including movie nights on the couch with cuddles! We will definitely be using Natalie again the next time we pass through Nashville. Highly recommended.”

“Michelle and her family took such great care of my nervous pup. They made him feel really comfortable and sent great updates. I would feel confident leaving Chance in their care in the future!”

“This was the first time I have used a dog sitter instead of boarding my dog through a facility or leaving him with a family member. I just moved to Nashville and was very displeased with the local boarding facilities, and resorted to dog vacay. I was a little nervous at first, but Karri was great! She was very easy to get in touch with (text or call), had a very nice house and big back yard, and has a very warm spirit. I felt like I was dropping my dog off at my parents house for the weekend. She sent me texts daily with pictures of my pup to reassure me that he was being loved on and cared for. She was also VERY flexible, as I was stuck out of town for an extra day and night due to flight cancellations. Cooper seemed to love it at her house! I would 100% use her again!”

“We had an emergency situation a messaged Austin. He dropped everything Christmas Day and went to our house to feed, water and check on our fur babies. He sent updates and pictures every day and was incredibly kind and helpful. I recommend Austin with the highest rating.”

“Mabry was ah-mazing with my cat! I was so nervous leaving her with a sitter for the first time but Mabry made sure to ease my anxiety by sending me photos daily and giving me updates on her wellbeing! My cat is not good with strangers and usually just hides, but Mabry managed to earn enough trust with her to get some purrs and a little roll around! 12/10 will hire Mabry again when I go out of town!”

“Alexis and her family were wonderful with my 7 month old mini poodle pup. We ended up in a big jam and needed last minute day care for four days. I sent an inquiry at 8:30 the night before, and Alexis responded within a couple of minutes! She was also great at reporting in and sending photos. My pup was well cared for and had a wonderful time playing with their darling young son and sweet dog. Big thanks to Alexis and her terrific family!!”

I highly recommend Simone.. and I would use her again in a heartbeat!!”

About: I have 5 dogs that are my kids. I am a stay at home dog mom. Your dog will be my dog while in my care. 4 are small and 1 medium sized. They are all fixed, UTD on shots and heart worm. All adopted from different states and shelters. They are between the ages of 10 and 12, and 1 senior who we believe is about 16. They are only crated at night if I go out for an extended period of time, except Charlie, the old man, he is out 24/7. We live on a half acre, fully fenced back yard (5 ft aluminum with puppy pickets). They can get on the furniture if they want and I have dog beds throughout the house. My dogs typically get on very well with other dogs. I dog sit 2 dogs in my home a few times a year for a few days to a week at a time. 1 medium and 1 large. I have fostered various dogs for Big Fluffy Dog Rescue in the past and I have helped and run adoption events at Petco for about a year for Simpson County Animal Shelter/Friends of the Shelter in Franklin KY. I am a stay at home dog mom. I can pet sit any time of the day or week, for just a few hours, a day or overnights. I only leave the house to go to the store or run a few errands. Typically not out for extended periods. If I am dog sitting, I prefer to be at home as often as possible. I am always around my dogs. I have dog beds in all areas of the house. I keep an eye on them when they go outside. I play with them regularly. When I get a new foster dog, I usually will keep them leashed for a little while until they get acclimated and used to the other dogs. You, my customer are more than welcome to come into my house and yard and meet myself, and my dogs.
“Ute was great proving day care for our new puppy. As he was in a new home and trying to adapt to life without his mom and littermates, Ute went the extra mile to attend to his needs as a young puppy. I highly recommend Ute!”

About: Current work schedule: I go in office 3 days a week but I can possibly I can flex my days. Available for services with that in mind! I need at least a week for new clients to schedule a meet & greet! I do not accept daycare & boarding without one because I require our pets to meet ahead of time so we can assess if they would be a good fit together. Aside from growing up with small dogs all around, I have solo cared for my senior rescue for the last 6 years up until his passing of old age. I have experience with both puppy and senior dog care, and am very careful with any physical concerns such as arthritis. I have experience administering oral medication both through treats and syringing food. I will love to hang out with your baby whether it’s going on walks, playing, or just coexisting - I’ve done it all. The best feeling I have is knowing I’ve given my dog a life full of love and enrichment, and I’m happy to help as you do the same for yours. I also have owned a cat and cat sit for friends and am more than happy to drop in on them and show them some love! I am definitely also a huge cat lady. I am very patient and understanding that I am a visitor to your pet and I will respect their boundaries while they are under my care. In case of emergency, I already have Battleground (Royal Oaks), Bluepearl (Mallory) and Banfield (Carothers) info saved and have experience with all 3 vets in Franklin. I currently have a full time job, but am generally off by 3-4 and my nights and weekends are pretty open! Some days I work from home so I’m around the area. I currently live in a 1BR apartment, have a balcony but there are paths and a dog park even within my complex, so there’s no shortage of areas to walk! I always keep my babies on leash.

“Lisa is phenomenal! I was visiting from out of town, and she absolutely came to the rescue! She is caring, compassionate, responsible, intuitive, and joyful!!! My little dog LOVED going to day care at Lisa's and was at home immediately in Lisa's care. Please don't hesitate to use Lucy for your dog care needs. She is the best!!!”

About: I have dog & puppy sat for clients, friends and family over the last 12 years. I love dogs & know playtime & regular exercise is essential to their health but not everyone has the time to help them get as much as they may need. This is where I come in! Whether it's just walks, overnight stays or puppy playtime I'm your girl. I started out my care of animals volunteering at an animal shelter in the Bay Area. I went there to adopt an animal and it broke my heart to see all of the dogs locked up in cages all looking up out of their cages with their sweet puppy dog eyes hoping they could be given a second chance & taken home with you. I wanted to take them all home! I then made it my primary mission to begin volunteering numerous times a week walking as many dogs as I could. Most of them I had to walk individually for safety reasons so it was quite the exercise regime for me but I loved knowing I could get them out for some playtime & extra attention they so deserved, especially not knowing what their fate would be. From then on I decided to also pick up extra work in addition to my full time job being a caretaker for all pets, my passion truly lies with animals and I find it very therapeutic in so many ways, bonding with animals of all different kinds but above all... dogs☺️ I work part time teaching pilates and my partner works from home so we provide constant care and attention. My schedule allows frequent breaks to attend to the dogs with walks, potty breaks and bonding time with other dogs There’s a dog park and trails at our apartment complex and the dog will be with us at all times. With dogs who are reactive on leash I always ensure to create a safe distance from other dogs and do not let dogs off leash unless in an enclosed space

About: I'm a big dog person, and I frequently take care of my family's dog while they're away. While I was in college, I often dog-sat for a family friend, staying in their home and taking care of their pet. I'm home for the summer before heading to graduate school, and would love to spend some time with animals! This summer, I am home for a while with completely open days. I'm happy to take on summer holidays or help with mid-day walks, etc. I love to let animals spend their time outside in a safe way, either with a fence or on a leash. I'm also happy to hang out indoors if the dog prefers, and ensure everything is taken care of!
About: Hi! I’m a dedicated animal lover with a passion for providing pets with the same care, attention, and affection they receive at home. As a cat owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members. Whether your pet loves playtime, cuddles, walks, or simply having a comforting companion nearby, I’m committed to making them feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!” 🐾❤️ I currently work part-time with Instacart, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to accommodate pet care throughout the day. I also run an up-and-coming small business, much of which I manage remotely, giving me additional flexibility to provide attentive and reliable care for your pets. Because I create my own schedule, I can often adjust my availability to meet your pet’s needs, whether that’s drop-in visits, walks, or extended care. I love spending time with animals and enjoy incorporating pet care into my daily routine. Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I was raised around a variety of animals, which helped me develop a strong understanding of their needs, behaviors, and personalities. I currently care for my own cat, giving me firsthand experience with providing daily attention, feeding, playtime, and a safe, loving environment. In addition, I regularly walk and help care for my best friend’s Husky, which has given me experience handling larger, energetic dogs and understanding the importance of exercise, consistency, and positive interactions. When caring for your pets, their safety and well-being are always my top priorities. I take the time to follow routines, respect each pet’s unique personality, and ensure they feel comfortable, secure, and loved while you’re away. You can trust that I will treat your furry family members with the same care and attention I give my own.
About: I’v taken care of dogs since I was old enough to be responsible for them, around age 12. I was in charge of feeding our family dogs, walking them, and exercising them through intentional playtime. We had 3 dogs then, and now we own two. I just graduated from college, and I have a couple weeks available until I begin my job. I will start working as a Firefighter for the Franklin fire department on June 8. Once that starts, I will be available on most weekends and evenings to care for your pet! I am happy to walk or run your pet! I also offer pet-sitting. As a responsible student, with several years of families trusting me with babysitting, I can give you confidence that your home and pet will be cared for as if they were my own.

About: I've been taking care of animals since I was at least 12, and have watched and walked dogs from Great Danes to Chihuahuas. I've done many overnight sits, and am able to house sit as well as pet sit. I love to offer pets the best care possible by spending quality time with them and giving them all the love they deserve. Pets have always been around in my family so I know the importance of truly treating and loving them like family. I am a hard working, loving, and thoughtful caregiver that will make your pets feel like you never left. I recently moved to Portland and am looking to save up for graduate school during my gap year. As long as I know a day or more in advance, I am willing to help out whenever needed. I only give the most respectful care that has been asked of me, and can perform any job from walking outdoors or simply being company for your pet! The care is built on love and attention that I know my pets would want from their caregiver.
About: Hey, my name is Matt! I have experience caring for cats, dogs, chickens, goats, horses, and cattle. I grew up on a farm in Alaska. I am self employed and have a great degree of flexibility on work location. I can spend time with your pets and schedule my work around your pet’s needs. I will meet with you in-person prior to booking so that I can meet you and your pets and take detailed notes about needs and expectations during my stay.
About: I love animals, I have since as long as I can remember. I was born and raised in an animal household so understanding animals, communicating with them, and tending to them has become second nature. I have pet sat and helped handle animals at the Nashville Zoo as a volunteer during my high school years and have watched over friends, family, and neighbors animals for around a decade now. I know how important family is and how pets are family that just so happens to walk on four legs for all of their lives instead of just their infant years. I am currently on staff at my church right now as outreach and ministry team so my times I am unavailable are Tuesday's, Thursday's, and Friday's after 5:00pm. I go to church on Sunday mornings but I can always watch virtually so I can tend to pets overnight. I care for animals as I would care for myself I believe in all life is precious and that any life created is family to me which most certainly includes pets. My approach comes from being gentle, reacting/reading body language, minding my emotions and actions because animals are sensitive to those, and just showering them with love the way THEY want to receive it not how I want to give it. It is their comfort and wellbeing over mine and I will do everything in my power to ensure a healthy environment for everybody's animals.
About: I have experience caring for cats, including those with anxiety and overgrooming. I currently care for my own cat and focus on keeping a calm, consistent environment. I’m comfortable with feeding, litter box care, medications, and paying attention to behavior changes. I take time to build trust with each cat and always provide updates and photos. I also grew up with puppies. I have experienced walking, going potty, and playing! Pet care fits naturally into my routine, especially in the evenings and on weekends. I have a consistent schedule and am available Wednesday through Friday in the evenings and Saturdays during the day. I already care for my own cat daily, so feeding, cleaning, and spending quality time with pets is something I’m used to. I plan my schedule carefully to make sure each pet gets reliable, on-time care and attention. In a client’s home, I follow your cat’s normal routine to keep things as stress-free as possible. I handle feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, and playtime or quiet companionship depending on your cat’s personality. I take a calm, patient approach, especially with shy or anxious cats, and never force interaction. I also monitor behavior, administer medications if needed, and send regular updates with photos so you feel at ease while you’re away.
About: Hi, I'm Marissa! I'm one of those people who, before I came out of my shell, spent more time with animals than people. Sometimes I still do. I've had dogs and cats all my life, and also rode horses starting just before I was 4. I have 7 years of experience on Rover and another 2 independently dog walking and sitting before that. I’ve cared for many kinds of dogs and cats, fish, turtles, donkeys, a family of racoons, and more. And I have a lot of experience caring for older animals and animals with medical conditions. I also used to volunteer with my mom transporting rescue dogs with Echo Dog White German Shepherd rescue. I am a homebody for the most part, so once I'm there I'm probably not going anywhere. My capital W Work is writing - I'm 13 years into an elven magic realism epic screenplay/novel series, it is my passion project and pet/housesitting gives me the time to tend to that vision, and fur babies to keep me company! Walking and playing with them keeps me active and in my beloved nature. It is a great joy to give people peace of mind while they travel, knowing their home and furbabies are in good hands. I know how stressful it can be - I was born in the Northeast and then moved to Nashville when I was 12 so my mom and I would drive up there to visit family, but we would often bring our dog and cats with us on that 13 hr ride because we didn’t have anyone we trusted to watch them. It’s a great time, unless it’s a family emergency. Now, I get to be that person for other people! My clients relaxing, knowing that they can have fun or do what needs doing and that their fur babies are taken care of at home - that is priceless and never gets old. If you have 3 or more pets, I'm happy to give a discount. I know how hard it can be trying to find care for them when you have many. Feel free to reach out! Pets are family. I will make sure they receive the best care possible! I'm a night owl myself when I'm home but whatever their routine is, I will stick to that as much as I can. For dogs, walks are included in housesitting if you want that. And any plant and garden care etc. Totally depends on your and your pet's needs. I'm so excited to look after your fur baby!

“Alexis was great! She is very laid back and was totally reassuring, since we were nervous, first time puppy parents. Our 4 month old golden retriever had the best time! I think he even learned crate training from Alexis and Finn! I see why they're always booked - great experience! ”

“Juniper had such a great time. She came home exhausted and happy. We could tell that she was well taken care of and loved on especially by the sweet kiddos. We will definitely bring her back :)”

“It was such a blessing for Candice and her family to watch Mindy! My dog was clearly well loved during her stay. The daily updates and photos were greatly appreciated. Especially when I could see how much of a good time Mindy was having.”

“I can’t say enough great things about Christopher. He was an absolute hero—stepping in on super short notice (less than 24 hours!) to take care of my pup, Benji. His communication was wonderful from the start, keeping me updated and making sure I felt completely at ease.”

“This is my first time getting a dog sitter so I was a little nervous, but Christy did an amazing job! She kept me up to date every day multiple times a day and sent multiple pictures everyday. I didn’t have a worry in the world and knew he was well taken care of. Thank you so much Christy and for watching him on such short notice!! I hope I’m lucky enough to leave him with you if I ever go out of town again. Thank you!”

“Juniper had such a great time with Lisa. Her property is beautiful and spacious and so peaceful. You can tell that everyone is well loved and cared for. When I arrived to pick up Juniper she was running around and playing with all of the other dogs. Highly recommend!!”

“We got lots of pictures and videos of Mimi during her stay and it was clear she was happy and comfortable! We are so grateful for the peace of mind that she was well cared for.”

“Angie is the absolute best! She sent updated photos daily, even twice a day! She took wonderful care of our pups and they LOVE her.. absolutely no anxiety once they got home. It’s so wonderful to have someone watch your pups who actually loves them and cares for them so well.”

“Michelle and her family took such great care of my nervous pup. They made him feel really comfortable and sent great updates. I would feel confident leaving Chance in their care in the future!”

“Max stayed for over 2wks with Jennifer and Michael. They sent me pictures regularly and Max came back with as much energy as he was dropped off with…so I know he was played with plenty. It was great getting pictures of him with all the other dogs. He’s normally the only dog at home, so I know he loved playing with the other dogs while he was there. It was great to see him pulled in as part of their family while we were gone.”

“Kristin was so kind and easy to work with. Her set up was perfect for Ren to have space to run and play and be safe. I appreciated the pics she sent of him playing with her dog, Walter. We will certainly choose Kristin again for future pet needs! Highly recommend!”

“Allison did an amazing job taking care of Misha for a week. Allison posted photos ans videos on a daily basis. Misha has had plenty of exercise, and even made friends with Priya, Allison's dog. I would highly recommend Allison!!!”

“Winston had a wonderful time with Anel! She sent many photos of their walks and daily adventures. Thank you for taking such great care of Winston and for being flexible!”

“We had a 10/10 Rover experience with Marissa! She was super easy to coordinate with and we could tell that she took the best care of Eddie. He was so sleepy when we brought him home from playing with her pup all weekend! We will definitely be calling her again.”

“Sarah and Kevin took amazing care of our 2 pups. They have a huge fenced yard for the dogs to roam and play in a beautiful country setting. We really appreciated the photos and communication! 100% highly recommend!!”
“I could not recommend Ritch enough. Blue and Frankie have stayed with him a number of times . The dogs get daily walks and lots of affection from his children. He sends photos and notes about how they are doing and I feel so good about leaving them there .”

About: Hello! My name is Karen and I've been an avid and passionate animal lover my entire life. I have over 20 years of dog fostering experience with Big Fluffy Fog Rescue, and currently have two of my own dogs and three horses at home. I would love to let your pup join our little pack! I offer a private climate controlled area for your dog(s) to feel safe and relaxed. Crating is available, but some of my more mature canine friends prefer a nice dog bed and cot if they so choose. The space includes direct access to a fenced in yard with plenty of opportunity for outside! I am a full time remote employee, so I am here all the time. We have potty breaks as needed, with tons of supervised outside time! I offer a private inclusive area for friends, as well as lots of outside time with or without canine friends! There are cats and horses so if your friend has a high prey drive this wouldn't be the best place.
