About: I’v taken care of dogs since I was old enough to be responsible for them, around age 12. I was in charge of feeding our family dogs, walking them, and exercising them through intentional playtime. We had 3 dogs then, and now we own two. About: I have 5 dogs that are my kids. I am a stay at home dog mom. Your dog will be my dog while in my care. 4 are small and 1 medium sized. They are all fixed, UTD on shots and heart worm. All adopted from different states and shelters. They are between the ages of 10 and 12, and 1 senior who we believe is about 16. They are only crated at night if I go out for an extended period of time, except Charlie, the old man, he is out 24/7. We live on a half acre, fully fenced back yard (5 ft aluminum with puppy pickets). They can get on the furniture if they want and I have dog beds throughout the house. My dogs typically get on very well with other dogs. I dog sit 2 dogs in my home a few times a year for a few days to a week at a time. 1 medium and 1 large. I have fostered various dogs for Big Fluffy Dog Rescue in the past and I have helped and run adoption events at Petco for about a year for Simpson County Animal Shelter/Friends of the Shelter in Franklin KY. I am a stay at home dog mom. I can pet sit any time of the day or week, for just a few hours, a day or overnights. I only leave the house to go to the store or run a few errands. Typically not out for extended periods. If I am dog sitting, I prefer to be at home as often as possible. I am always around my dogs. I have dog beds in all areas of the house. I keep an eye on them when they go outside. I play with them regularly. When I get a new foster dog, I usually will keep them leashed for a little while until they get acclimated and used to the other dogs. About: I've had dogs all my life, but grew up loving animals of all kinds. I have previously done pet check-ins and dog walks on Rover. I did not do in-house sitting, in order to keep my house my senior dog's safe space. But I lost my best friend after 17 1/2 years, and am missing the friendship and companionship in my home. I have been helping a local rescue with short term fostering when one of their fosters goes on vacation, as well as holiday fostering with Williamson County Animal Center. I would like to slowly open my home to new furry dog friends. I am familiar with senior dog issues and giving medications in pill and powder form, however, I don't have experience with injections, so I would not be the best fit if your pet requires those. I work at home full time during the week 7:00-4:00. Although I am home during the day and mostly available, I do have meetings throughout the day and can get pulled into conference calls, so I am not always instantly available and will need a little notice to book or cancel so that I can make sure I see your message and have availability when you drop off/pick up. I am open on how to best care for your pet based on your needs. I know from having a senior dog they all have their little quirks that make each one different. Do they have special food or special needs? Please let me know and I'll do my best to accommodate them. I just lost my best fur friend after 17 1/2 years, so I am looking for other fur friends to love on. I work full time from home, and am mostly available when not in meetings/calls. About: I have dog & puppy sat for clients, friends and family over the last 12 years. I love dogs & know playtime & regular exercise is essential to their health but not everyone has the time to help them get as much as they may need. This is where I come in! Whether it's just walks, overnight stays or puppy playtime I'm your girl. I started out my care of animals volunteering at an animal shelter in the Bay Area. I went there to adopt an animal and it broke my heart to see all of the dogs locked up in cages all looking up out of their cages with their sweet puppy dog eyes hoping they could be given a second chance & taken home with you. I wanted to take them all home! I then made it my primary mission to begin volunteering numerous times a week walking as many dogs as I could. Most of them I had to walk individually for safety reasons so it was quite the exercise regime for me but I loved knowing I could get them out for some playtime & extra attention they so deserved, especially not knowing what their fate would be. About: I love animals, I have since as long as I can remember. I was born and raised in an animal household so understanding animals, communicating with them, and tending to them has become second nature. I have pet sat and helped handle animals at the Nashville Zoo as a volunteer during my high school years and have watched over friends, family, and neighbors animals for around a decade now. I know how important family is and how pets are family that just so happens to walk on four legs for all of their lives instead of just their infant years. Because of my flexible routine, I’m able to adjust to a pet’s normal schedule and make sure they stay comfortable and well cared for while their owners are away. I make sure pets stay comfortable by following their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions from the owner. Safety and trust are very important to me, so I always keep a clean, secure environment and pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and needs. In a client’s home, I respect their space and make sure their pet feels relaxed and cared for while they’re away. I also keep owners updated with daily messages and photos so they know their pet is safe and in good hands.

About: I have dog & puppy sat for clients, friends and family over the last 12 years. I love dogs & know playtime & regular exercise is essential to their health but not everyone has the time to help them get as much as they may need. This is where I come in! Whether it's just walks, overnight stays or puppy playtime I'm your girl. I started out my care of animals volunteering at an animal shelter in the Bay Area. I went there to adopt an animal and it broke my heart to see all of the dogs locked up in cages all looking up out of their cages with their sweet puppy dog eyes hoping they could be given a second chance & taken home with you. I wanted to take them all home! I then made it my primary mission to begin volunteering numerous times a week walking as many dogs as I could. Most of them I had to walk individually for safety reasons so it was quite the exercise regime for me but I loved knowing I could get them out for some playtime & extra attention they so deserved, especially not knowing what their fate would be. From then on I decided to also pick up extra work in addition to my full time job being a caretaker for all pets, my passion truly lies with animals and I find it very therapeutic in so many ways, bonding with animals of all different kinds but above all... dogs☺️ I work part time teaching pilates and my partner works from home so we provide constant care and attention. My schedule allows frequent breaks to attend to the dogs with walks, potty breaks and bonding time with other dogs There’s a dog park and trails at our apartment complex and the dog will be with us at all times. With dogs who are reactive on leash I always ensure to create a safe distance from other dogs and do not let dogs off leash unless in an enclosed space
“WOW! Barbara is the BEST. She took such great care of my dog Winnie while I was out of town. She fed, watered, walked, and played with Winnie and sent me prompt updates with multiple photos each day! She even picked up my mail for me! Cannot recommend Barbara enough. She is thoughtful, warm, and polished. I was so scared to leave my dog in someone else’s care and Barbara absolutely assuaged any concerns I had. 12/10. Will be rebooking!! 💕”
About: I have taken care of many animals in my neighborhood for 4 years now. I can help you when you can’t walk, feed, or clean! I am home from school so I have a very open schedule.
