“Taylor took great care of Ranger. Her walks were well documented and she was easy to communicate with! She even took the time to sit and pet Ranger when it was raining or hot and the walks were feasible. Thanks Taylor, hope you can visit Ranger again!”

“Joseph was extremely flexible and quick to respond to our requests, and our puppy stayed happy and secure and well taken care of while in his care. We were very happy with the service and would definitely use him again.”

About: I treat every pet like they’re my own and love getting to know their personality! I’m great with both energetic puppies (potty breaks, playtime, routines) and sweet senior pets who need a little extra patience and care. I also send lots of updates and photos, so you’ll never miss your furry friend too much! I am also MORE than happy to take same-day drop ins & walks. I’m currently working a part-time internship while home from UTK for the summer (Go Vols!), so I have plenty of time to take care of your pup(s)! I currently only provide on-site dog care at this time. I love dogs and being active! We can go on walks, have playtime, or just hang out! Whatever works best for your pup! :)
“Macon isn’t outstanding pet care professional. She is communicative, compassionate, and goes the extra mile for the pups in her care. Paisley always comes home excited yet exhausted at the same time. Macon will make an excellent vet one day!”

“Awww she looks so happy! Thank you and look forward to having you visit her for future sits. We are going out of town 8/14-17so I will see if you are available for that too”

“So happy to have found Karen! My dog has several chronic illnesses and comes with a lot of instructions and she was attentive to every detail. We knew he was being very well cared for while we were out of town. Definitely recommend and will use her again!”

About: I have dog-sat on multiple occasions for various neighbors and acquaintances up to 4-5 days at a time. Some of these requiring me to spend multiple hours playing with the dogs at a time and administering medicine to them. I have had four dogs of my own throughout my life so I know how to clean up messes and problem solve. I have also had to take care of dogs in every stage of life for this reason too. I have volunteered at the local rescue shelter near my college in which I would take dogs for a good chunk of the day to socialize and play with. I am still currently on the hunt for a part-time job, but that means as of right now I have a pretty open schedule to take care of pets! I can organize my day around what is needed. I can do all that is requested to keep pets safe in the home, and if needed can think on my feet for whatever situations may arise. I have had difficult dogs myself, so I understand how to take control while also being kind to the animals. I will not disrespect the space of the homeowner either :)
About: Though this will be my first time getting paid professionally for sitting, I've always been the go to family dog sitter. I bring the same dedication, love to every pet I watch. I care for my niece's Golden Doodle and my sister's Lhasa Apso regularly. I've grown up with dogs of my own of all sizes from tiny chihuahuas to strong pit bulls or German shepherds, my lifelong love for animals drives me to go above and beyond whether it's creating a safe, fun environment at home or making sure the pups stay safe if I spot them out and about I treat every pet like my own family. I'm a stay at home mom to my 7yo daught and have alot of spare time. Nothing is more fitting for me than to make some extra cash by being able to extend your furbabies family. I prioritize safety and comfort in both my home and your pets home. In my home, I have a secure, pet proof environment with plenty of space for play and relaxation. When I care for pets in their home, I follow their routine closely, keep them on schedule and send regular updates and photos to keep owners at ease.
About: I’m a professional dog trainer and experienced pet care provider with over 20 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, sizes, and personalities. I’m new to TN and Rover but I have run my own pet care business the past 10 years prior to my move. My background includes dog training, dog walking, pet sitting, and volunteering with animal rescues and shelters, where I’ve worked with everything from energetic puppies to senior dogs and those with special behavioral or medical needs. Whether your dog is staying with me or I’m caring for them in your home, my goal is to make them feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Boarding Your dog will receive almost constant care and companionship. I work from home and intentionally limit the number of dogs I care for so each one receives plenty of individual attention. I don’t have any pets of my own, so your dog won’t be competing for attention and can truly feel at home. For active dogs, I provide at least one hour of exercise and enrichment each day, tailored to their energy level and routine. Drop-In Visits, Walks & House Sitting I also offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and overnight house sitting in your home. Keeping your dog in their familiar environment can be a great option for reducing stress while maintaining their normal routine. I’ll ensure they receive plenty of exercise, affection, and mental stimulation while respecting your home as if it were my own. I’m experienced in administering medications, following special feeding instructions, and accommodating individual routines and preferences. Whether your dog requires extra patience, a structured schedule, or a little extra TLC, I’m happy to provide personalized care. Communication is important to me, so you can expect regular updates, photos, and messages throughout your dog’s stay or visit, giving you peace of mind while you’re away. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your family member, and I’d love the opportunity to provide a safe, reliable, and loving experience for your dog. I look forward to meeting you both! I work part time teaching pilates and my partner works from home so we provide constant care and attention. My schedule allows frequent breaks to attend to the dogs with walks, potty breaks and bonding time with other dogs There’s a dog park and trails at our apartment complex and the dog will be with us at all times. With dogs who are reactive on leash I always ensure to create a safe distance from other dogs and do not let dogs off leash unless in an enclosed space
“Leigh- Ann has been great. She was so good we hired her for a second week. Bella, our boxer, has quickly adapted to her. I would highly recommend Leigh-Ann to anyone who is interested in a new dog walker!”

“Christy is an energetic dog lover who did a great job exercising my Golden Retriever! She is very punctual and reliable. Buddy came back from his walks tired and very happy. I will be using Christy again! Highly recommended!”

“WOW! Barbara is the BEST. She took such great care of my dog Winnie while I was out of town. She fed, watered, walked, and played with Winnie and sent me prompt updates with multiple photos each day! She even picked up my mail for me! Cannot recommend Barbara enough. She is thoughtful, warm, and polished. I was so scared to leave my dog in someone else’s care and Barbara absolutely assuaged any concerns I had. 12/10. Will be rebooking!! 💕”

About: I grew up with a dog my whole childhood and in my teenage years, started living on a farm with horses and cows. I always envisioned being a veterinarian when I was little because I loved animals so much and always had an instant connection with every animal I've encountered. Many family members, friends, and friends of my family members have relied on and trusted me to watch their animals throughout the past years. They have always come home to happy animals and a clean house. I’m currently working full time so I do need at least a week notice so I can work around my schedule and the animals needs! Cats are more ideal for me to watch right now considering I can be gone for a decent amount of time but I’d love to see if we could make it work if you need a dog sitter or a drop in visit! I always respect the client's home; I clean up after myself and after the animals if needed. I am OCD and very organized so the client's home will be just as clean or cleaner then when they left.

About: I have two dogs and two cats at home, so I know how to handle a lot of animals! I have grown up with a house full of animals and have been exposed to lots of other pets whether family, friends, or neighbors! I can’t wait to help out! When I am home from college on any kind of breaks I will also be available! Your pets safety is my priority! I value communication and respect, in which you can rely on me to care for your furry friend with intentionality! Pets are apart of our families, and I will make sure your family member is feeling loved and comforted while you are away!

Will make sure your dog has a fun time while you are away. :) your dog will get daily exercise and A LOT of attention. I can send you daily pictures of your dog so you know what he/she is up to! Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Franklin
We recently adopted a dog and were worried he was snot getting enough exercise. Although 3 years old, our Billy still has puppy energy. We wanted someone to walk him while we were both at work therefore, we turned to Rover. We contacted Jenna and did a meet and greet the next day. She came prepared with an iPad taking notes as we went along our routines. She is amazing and remained professional even after a mishmash.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
