Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I already care for my own five-year-old Golden Retriever, Harley. My days are built around making sure he is fed, exercised, and given plenty of attention and consistency, so I’m already used to maintaining a structured and reliable routine for an active dog. Because of this, I’m able to easily incorporate pet care for others into my schedule. I’m flexible and organized, which allows me to plan walks, feeding times, playtime, and check-ins around each pet’s specific needs. Whether it’s early morning visits, midday drop-ins, or evening care, I make sure each pet gets the attention and consistency they are used to. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so pet care is something I prioritize and look forward to, not something I squeeze in. My goal is always to make sure pets feel comfortable, cared for, and stress-free while their owners are away.

I make sure they are fed on time, have fresh water, get the right amount of exercise and playtime, and receive plenty of attention, affection, and supervision. I’m also careful to keep their environment clean and to follow any specific instructions the owner provides. Because I’m organized and flexible, I can easily work pet care into my schedule and adjust to each pet’s individual needs. Having cared for a dog that was both deaf and blind, I have a deep understanding of how to communicate and build trust with pets that experience the world differently. I am also highly comfortable with medical tasks, including administering oral medications, giving injections (shots), and managing pets that require diapers or other mobility/hygiene assistance. If your pet has a complex routine, I am more than happy to follow it precisely to ensure they feel safe and comfortable

A typical day starts with making sure pets are comfortable, fed, and ready for the day. I follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, medications, and any special instructions from their owners. I believe consistency helps pets feel safe and secure while their families are away. I love keeping dogs active and engaged through walks, games of fetch, tug-of-war, and interactive play. For dogs who enjoy learning, I’m happy to reinforce basic commands and good habits. For more relaxed or senior dogs, I focus on gentle walks, companionship, and plenty of affection. Most importantly, I make sure every pet gets lots of love, attention, and one-on-one time. Whether your dog is full of energy or prefers lounging on the couch, I tailor activities to their personality and needs so they feel happy, comfortable, and cared for throughout the day.
