“Emily and her husband did a great job walking and letting out my dog while I was working! Great communication and I know my sweet girl was in great hands!”

“Cannot say enough great things about Jordan! She was very responsive, timely and even though our rescue pup is a little nervous around new people- Jordan was so great with her. She was very patient and gave us a lot of reassurance with every visit. She took our dog on long walks (she was always exhausted after) and gave her a lot of love- like she was one of her own. We would highly recommend Jordan!”

“Gayle took such great care of Hoku and made sure she was happy even on the rainy days when Hoku didn’t want to walk! The detailed notes and photos were wonderful to read each day and I knew Hoku was in excellent hands. Gayle also agreed to some last minute add-on walks which helped my family out a lot during a very busy week.”

“Corrie came through for us after a cancellation and is a fantastic sitter! She communicates quickly and our Walter loves her! She made sure he had a good walk, treats, and snuggles 😊. She is very kind and responsible and we hope to book her again soon!”

About: From a young age, I was always surrounded by animals. Whether it was being on my grandparent's or friend's farm or being at home with my own dogs and cats. Throughout high school I loved volunteering at the animal shelter and just being able to give animals the attention they both need and deserve. Whether it’s feeding, walking, or simply giving them lots of attention, I ensure every pet gets personalized care and love. I understand the importance of keeping your furry family member safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away! I recently graduated from university and work as a barista with flexible 6-hour shifts. This gives me plenty of free time to dedicate to caring for your pet with all the attention and love they deserve! I stick to your pet’s routine with regular feeding, walks, and playtime, ensuring they feel comfortable and loved. I provide personalized care, keeping your home safe and tidy, and send regular updates to keep you informed while you're away.

I would love to give your dog the attention they deserve while you are out of town, at work or out for a night of fun. As for overnights, we have a fully-fenced backyard for them to run free. We have a 9-year-old retriever/border collie mix who absolutely loves other dogs and kids. She would love to have a friend over 👍. We are centrally located and flexible with our schedule. We will provide a safe and fun environment for your pet. We look forward to meeting you and your wonderful dog. We work from home, so have a flexible schedule to care for dogs. They can hang inside, and go out as needed….or stay outside as they wish. We have a fenced in yard w plenty of space. Dogs stay inside w us at night and in hot or cold temps. We have plenty of room.
“Janine was lovely! She took the time to do the last minute meet and greet. Had the biggest patience with my puppy who gets really excited. She took her time and gave treats to let him calm down. My fur babies loved her.”

About: Hi there! I'm Marian and I'm a big animal lover with over 20 years of hands on experience caring for both cats and dogs of various ages, temperaments; from excited doggos to shy cats who take a little bit of time to warm up. Whether its daily walks, playtime, feedings, medication, or simply keeping your pets company while you're away; I treat every animal as if they were my very own: with patience, respect, and compassion. Experience You Can Trust: Two decades of caring for pets in all stages of life from puppies/kittens to senior companions Multi-Pet Household Friendly: I understand the different needs and dynamics of both dogs and cats living together. This ensures each animal gets attention and care suited to them. Reliable Presence and Communication: You'll always get regular updates and photos to give you a peace of mind while you're away. Customized Care: Every pet has their own personality and routine and I make it a point to keep things consistent, so your furry friend(s) feel safe and cared for. ***Important Note for New Potential Clients*** I need AT LEAST 14 days notice of departure date for house sitting requests and 7 days notice of departure date for dog walk/drop in requests. This gives both you and I time to propose a proper meet and greet that is respectful of both your time and mine. The more advanced notice I have about a stay or visit, the more prepared I will be to care for your furry friend(s) in the way they need and deserve. I only take extended care visits (2 weeks or more) from repeat clients only. How to know if your dog(s) is a good fit: -I only accept dogs with low to moderate energy levels and puppies must be and fixed and potty trained. -I will NOT accept dogs who are aggressive, anxious, have a terminal and/or life threatening health condition, or highly prone to indoor potty accidents. About My Care Style I’m always happy to give pets plenty of love, attention, playtime, and affection! I also really value helping dogs feel comfortable settling independently. I’m especially comfortable with pets who enjoy being near their person without needing constant physical contact or lap time. During downtime and sleep, I prefer pets to have their own cozy spot nearby, rather than sleeping directly on top of or pressed against me. I’m still happy to cuddle and give affection when we’re both intentionally engaging in it. I just like physical closeness to be more of a mutual invitation than something a pet feels they need to maintain constantly to feel secure. I find that clear, gentle boundaries help everyone have a more relaxed and comfortable stay and I’m happy to work with each pet’s individual personality and routine. My work is home based; giving me pretty frequent and flexible availability if given the proper heads up for each type of request. This also allows me a great deal of time to tend to your pet's needs and provide them with extra affection and attention. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding, medication, or simply keeping your pets company while you’re away, I treat every animal as if they were my own with patience, respect, and care.

Additionally, I have extensive experience caring for both large and small dog breeds, as well as senior dogs in my family. Rest assured, when your pets are in my care, they receive the bee's knees of pet care!! I work part-time, allowing me flexibility to accommodate pet care needs. I am excited to build trusting relationships with pet owners and their beloved companions while offering reliable and personalized pet care services. For short-term pet care, a simple guide of your pet's routine and needs would helpful to meet your expectations and ensure proper care during my visits. For example, feeding schedules and amounts, exercise/stimulation routines, medication administration (if applicable), and any other specific instructions. For longer-term or ongoing care, I believe in establishing trust and understanding through an onboarding call or visit. This allows me to get acquainted with your pet's personality, preferences, and any special needs they may have. For pets with special requirements, such as medical conditions or behavioral considerations, an onboarding session is essential to ensure I can provide the best possible care. By prioritizing open communication and personalized attention, I strive to create a seamless and stress-free experience for both owners and their beloved pets.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Brentwood Estates
Mary (who actually goes by Jordan) was fantastic with our two little dogs. They tend to be skittish, and they very quickly became even more comfortable with Jordan than with their prior walker of several months. We really appreciated her stepping in and giving them a great break mid-day.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
