About: I’ve grown up my whole life with at least 4 animals around. Both dogs and cats and I loved it and trained most of them. Animals give me joy so it’s not difficult for me to care for them well! I am newly married and a flight instructor! I have every other weekend free and my schedule overall is very flexible right now with a lot of open time. My husband and I are not in the situation to be able to care for a pet of our own right now, which is why I’d love to take care of your pet(s) and love on them during the time I have free.
About: I will come to your home twice a day to feed, water and let your dogs out or take care of any animal you have. I will also play with them while you are away. I am a huge animal lover. All have been rescued except for one. One of my dogs had seizures and required medicine twice daily so you can rest assured knowing your pet will be taken care of well. I have done this service on my own for several years. I took a break for awhile when i moved to florida. I moved back to tennessee and decided to do pet sitting again. I had several clients and excellent reviews and referrals. Please see reviews on my profile. Why I love dog sitting I have been an animal lover all my life. I have had a dog since I was a kid. I currently have 1 dog, Komanche. He is a registered service but cared for 7 other dogs (5 were german shepherd and labadore, 2 were little dogs) in the household which I just recently moved from. I unfortunately had to put my other dog Koda to sleep last summer because his seizures were getting so bad and prescription phenobarbital just wasn't working anymore. One of the hardest times for me. He had just turned 5. My entire family have always had dogs and horses
“Tamicca was absolutely amazing with Dayo! From the very beginning, I felt completely comfortable knowing he was in her care. She was kind, dependable, attentive, and treated Dayo with so much love and patience. It was clear that she wasn’t simply “walking a dog” she genuinely cared about him and made sure he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. As a dog mom, having someone you can truly trust with your baby is priceless, and Tamicca gave me that peace of mind. Dayo clearly enjoyed his time with her, which tells me everything I need to know! I would absolutely recommend Tamicca to anyone looking for someone responsible, compassionate, and trustworthy to care for their fur baby. She will definitely be one of my first calls whenever Dayo needs a little extra love and attention. Five stars all the way! 🐾❤️”

About: My finance and I have had two dogs for the last three years and also grew up with dogs. I have never seen a dog not fall in love with my fiancé. We also were part of a small business pet care that is very similar to rover. We have the experience and heart to help care for you pets because we know they are a important part of your family. My schedule is in the morning but also have plenty of off days and when I’m not around my fiancé is. We make a great team! We live in a townhouse with a patio, with a door out to a grassy area. Create or free roam is welcome, our dogs are trained for either but usually are free roaming and super friendly with new friends.
About: I grew up on a farm, so caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. It’s second nature to me. I’m warm, patient, and genuinely love getting to know each pet’s personality. Animals tend to gravitate toward me — friends joke that I’m basically a Disney princess — and I take that as the highest compliment. Caring for pets is my full‑time business, and I build my days around it. Once my kids are off to school, I’m focused on my clients — from daily regulars to weekly visits to those last‑minute “help, can you stop by?” requests. My schedule is flexible, and I’m used to balancing a steady routine with the occasional surprise booking. Pet care fits naturally into my day, and I love being the person families can count on. I keep your pet comfortable by caring for them right in their own home. I come to them for drop‑ins — playtime, feeding, fetch, cuddles, whatever they love. If they need to stretch their legs, we can head out for a walk. You choose the visit length: 20, 30, or 60 minutes. I follow their routine so they feel safe, happy, and cared for.
About: Sup, pup parents! I’m Kim, a genuine, dedicated pet lover, pet caregiver and pet groomer with many years of experience. I’m honored to have the opportunity to care for your precious furry people! Beginning July 2022, I went from caring for animals part-time to caring for animals full-time. I have an endless amount of experience in a multitude of career choices. All my experiences have led me to today, caring for animals in any capacity. I’m originally from Mississippi and I graduated from Ole Miss. After college life, I lived in Nashville, Tennessee, for four years. I then lived in Utah for 28 years, lived in South Carolina for 1 1/2 years and then, beginning March, 2026, I moved back to Nashville to care for my parents. I’ve owned and operated several businesses (preschools/daycare centers, a life coaching practice, and a gift shop). Along with business ownership, I have worked in additional fields such as advertising, marketing, sales, and public relations. I have worked with and I have cared for over 300 different dogs in the past three and a half years. Like people, each and every pup is different, so each and every booking comes with more experience that helps me learn and grow. I’m able to customize the care for each doggie. I’ve received some professional training for different dog breeds, temperaments, behavioral responses, and dog grooming. In addition, there are so many online resources that have been such a blessing (ChatGPT, YouTube, Google, etc). I utilize such platforms to receive a multitude of education, all to ensure your babies are safe, comfortable and happy. In my lifetime I have had lots of different pets in my home, from being a child up until now. My first pet was a grey Mini Schnauzer named Gretchen. Other dogs: Scarlett the Irish Setter, Shawn the Irish Setter, Wrigley the white Lab, Mandy the Cocker Spaniel, Jackson the black and white Shih Tzu, Sam the English cream Golden Retriever, Chrissy the belenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and Manning the ruby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Currently I have Gibson a Tan and white Shih Tzu and Jenny a grey and white Shih Tzu Poodle mix. They are the loves of my life! I’ve also had LOTS of cats over the years. A few of the cats were: Sugar, Oreo, Dexter, Nala, Jack, Greyson, and my Claire Bear. December of 2024, I had to put down my 15 yr baby girl kitty, Claire. I’m still mourning her loss. I’ve also had other types of pets: a ferret, hamsters, guinea pig, fancy rats, turtle, tarantula, corn snake, parakeets, and fishies! Prior to moving back to Nashville, I boarded dogs, I provided doggie daycare, I did drop-in visits, I did house sitting, and I groomed dogs. ---------- Services Provided 1. Pup House Sitting & Pup Play for the Day 2. Pup Pop-ins 3. Pup Pampering (Grooming) Pup House Sitting & Pup Play for the Day Stay overnight or doggie daycare to come play for the day Pup Pop-ins Coming to your house for 30 or 60 mins at a time Pup Pampering (Grooming) Basic grooming (pre-bath prep, bath, blow dry, & trim). Additional grooming services also available. ----- I have skills handling all types of temperaments, like high-energy pets for example. I have experience with non-neutered/non-spayed dogs, administering medication, calming anxious animals, providing medical care, training, grooming, separation anxiety, play activities, and so much more. I’m available seven days a week. If I work on Sundays, I try to have that day a little more relaxed and low-key, just so the dogs and myself can have a little down time and a break. I’ll only do one grooming a day. I’ll do two if the dogs are under one roof. Sometimes a groom may be spread out between two days, all depends on the dog's comfort level. I have a love for life that includes things and activities like: spending time with my granddaughters; organizing (basically taking any disorderly space and creating order, sprinkled with a little love and happiness :) ); projects indoors and outdoors; yard work; gardening; creating systems; grooming my own dogs; acrylic painting; diamond art; anything crafty; decorating; designing; gift wrapping; any creative outlets; research; travel; learning new things; playing board and card games; football (especially my Ole Miss Rebels); and of course stopping to pet any dog or animal that is within a six foot parameter! So please reach out with any questions you may have! I miss all of my former clients, especially the ones I got to care for daily and weekly! Hoping to love on many more new furries soon! Whenever you need help while you’re away at work, while you’re away on vacation, or while you’re away for any event or for any reason, I hope I’m your choice for pet care. I’d be delighted to care for your love bugs in any capacity! Caring for furry love bugs is my full-time job, so I'm usually flexible when I have availability. I don't need to fit pet care into my daily and weekly routine, pets fit into my daily and weekly routine. : ) Safety and trust are my priorities. Even though pet parent homes are different, the environment created is the same. Each environment is filled with love and positive energy. Each angel is treated as if they were my own!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
