About: Hi! I’m a high school teacher who teaches culinary arts. At home, I have a golden retriever, Saffron and a Labradoodle, Leo. I live on 2 1/2 acres, one of which is fenced in and perfect for furry friends to run and play! I am a teacher and gone from 7 am to 3:30 pm, but my parents live next door and watch my animals when I am away. Growing up, my brother had a service dog who was part Great Dane and part Black Lab. He became part of the family! I think that’s what started my love for animals. Since college, I’ve had at least one pet. While in Culinary school, I worked long hours. For Christmas, I got my cat, Basil. She was at the door with a “meow” at the end of long days in the kitchen. When I began my career as a culinary teacher, I bought my first house with a back yard and almost immediately added my girls, Sage and Sketch to the household! I work full time as a high school teacher. but live next door to my parents who watch over my pets. They love them as if they were their own! I have an acre, fenced in back yard. My dogs love the country, running and playing in the back yard! They are house dogs, but love the chance to run as much as possible.
“We recently adopted a dog and were worried he was snot getting enough exercise. Although 3 years old, our Billy still has puppy energy. We wanted someone to walk him while we were both at work therefore, we turned to Rover. We contacted Jenna and did a meet and greet the next day. She came prepared with an iPad taking notes as we went along our routines. She is amazing and remained professional even after a mishmash.”

“Thank you for taking care of Remi over Christmas! Great experience! Molly took wonderful care of our dog and kept us updated. We felt totally at ease and would definitely book again.”

“What an animal advocate and hero, had another Rover cancelled last minute and Danna jumped up to the occasion and was a life saver and helped my Bella go on a walk. Thank you so much!! Highly recommend!”

“Christy was absolutely awesome with my 2 babies. She gave them tons of love and attention and they had such a great time they both went straight to their beds and went to sleep when we got home. Christy is great with the dogs and you can tell how much she loves them. I plan on continuing on using her for my dogs and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone that will take great care of your dogs.”

Growing up in Colombia, I began caring for pets at the age of 15, starting with my family, friends, and neighbors. My love for animals led me to work with nonprofit organizations for years. Now that I’m in the USA, I’m excited to bring my experience and passion for animals to you and your pets. I have a dog, a cat, and a ferret at home, so I understand how much pets mean to a family. I am excited to build trusting relationships with pet owners and their beloved companions while offering reliable and personalized pet care services. For short-term pet care, a simple guide of your pet's routine and needs would helpful to meet your expectations and ensure proper care during my visits. For example, feeding schedules and amounts, exercise/stimulation routines, medication administration (if applicable), and any other specific instructions. For longer-term or ongoing care, I believe in establishing trust and understanding through an onboarding call or visit. This allows me to get acquainted with your pet's personality, preferences, and any special needs they may have. For pets with special requirements, such as medical conditions or behavioral considerations, an onboarding session is essential to ensure I can provide the best possible care. By prioritizing open communication and personalized attention, I strive to create a seamless and stress-free experience for both owners and their beloved pets.
About: My family and I live on a farm with our Border Collie, Solo, our Toy Australian Shepherd, Scout, 2 indoor cats, Snowy and Speedy, at least 2 barn cats, Mama Kitty and Glitter, 3 horses, Magic, Radi and Jazzy and 8 sweet chickens. There are always animals around the farm to feed, water, brush and enjoy playing with for everyone! My family, along with my 8 and 10 year old kids, have helped take care of many friends dogs, cats and chickens when they are out of town and we would love to help you out as well. We understand how hard it is to leave your fur babies and worry about them while you are trying to enjoy vacation with your friends and family or trying to concentrate at work. We have had dogs and cats from the time they were puppies and kittens until they lived to be 16 years old. I currently take care of all the animals on the farm, with a little help from the kids! Plus, my partner has worked as a vet tech and trained both dogs and horses, working with and around animals for 25 years! Your sweet fur baby will be in great hands with us! After finishing remodeling our house and with both kids finally in school, I have lots of time during your workdays to help with all your fur babies! And during the summer, the kids love to help me with all the animals! I love caring for and loving all animals! I would love to come hang out, walk, feed, brush, play and check in on them during the work day! I love having a flexible schedule to be able to help with your sweet animals while still being able to pick up my children from school and attend their activities. They also love all animals and may come with me to help take care of them when it is safe and the opportunity allows!
About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember — growing up, my family had dogs, turtles, birds, rabbits, and lizards, so I'm just as comfortable with cats and small pets as I am with dogs. I also attended a high school built around animal care, giving me formal training on top of a lifetime of hands-on experience. On top of that, I'm a college graduate, which taught me the same things animal care requires: personal responsibility, patience, and attention to detail. I treat every pet like it's my own: same routine, same patience, same attention to detail every single visit. Pet care is my full-time focus, so I have a flexible schedule with steady availability throughout the week for walks, drop-in visits, and extended stays. I always confirm exact timing with you directly so visits fit your pet's normal routine. Since all my visits happen at your home, I treat it with the same care and respect I'd want for my own, securing doors and alarms exactly as instructed, keeping to the routine you've laid out, and never deviating from your pet's normal environment.

“WOW! Barbara is the BEST. She took such great care of my dog Winnie while I was out of town. She fed, watered, walked, and played with Winnie and sent me prompt updates with multiple photos each day! She even picked up my mail for me! Cannot recommend Barbara enough. She is thoughtful, warm, and polished. I was so scared to leave my dog in someone else’s care and Barbara absolutely assuaged any concerns I had. 12/10. Will be rebooking!! 💕”

About: Hi! I’m Victoria, from TN, reliable and caring pet lover who treats every pet like family. Offering efficient dog and cat drop-in visits/walks. Plenty of playtime, cuddles, and care while you're away. I’ve grown up with animals for the majority of my life from livestock to domestic! A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
