Growing up in Colombia, I began caring for pets at the age of 15, starting with my family, friends, and neighbors. My love for animals led me to work with nonprofit organizations for years. Plus, my partner has worked as a vet tech and trained both dogs and horses, working with and around animals for 25 years! Your sweet fur baby will be in great hands with us! After finishing remodeling our house and with both kids finally in school, I have lots of time during your workdays to help with all your fur babies! And during the summer, the kids love to help me with all the animals! I love caring for and loving all animals! I would love to come hang out, walk, feed, brush, play and check in on them during the work day! I love having a flexible schedule to be able to help with your sweet animals while still being able to pick up my children from school and attend their activities. About: Hi! I’m a high school teacher who teaches culinary arts. At home, I have a golden retriever, Saffron and a Labradoodle, Leo. I live on 2 1/2 acres, one of which is fenced in and perfect for furry friends to run and play! I am a teacher and gone from 7 am to 3:30 pm, but my parents live next door and watch my animals when I am away. Growing up, my brother had a service dog who was part Great Dane and part Black Lab. He became part of the family! I think that’s what started my love for animals. Since college, I’ve had at least one pet. While in Culinary school, I worked long hours. For Christmas, I got my cat, Basil. She was at the door with a “meow” at the end of long days in the kitchen. When I began my career as a culinary teacher, I bought my first house with a back yard and almost immediately added my girls, Sage and Sketch to the household! I work full time as a high school teacher. but live next door to my parents who watch over my pets. They love them as if they were their own! I have an acre, fenced in back yard. My dogs love the country, running and playing in the back yard! They are house dogs, but love the chance to run as much as possible.

About: **Due to extreme heat this summer I will use my discretion with shortening walks for your dog’s health** Current work schedule: I go in office 3 days a week but I can possibly I can flex my days. Available for services with that in mind! I need at least a week for new clients to schedule a meet & greet! I do not accept daycare & boarding without one because I require our pets to meet ahead of time so we can assess if they would be a good fit together. Aside from growing up with small dogs all around, I have solo cared for my senior rescue for the last 6 years up until his passing of old age. I have experience with both puppy and senior dog care, and am very careful with any physical concerns such as arthritis. I have experience administering oral medication both through treats and syringing food. I will love to hang out with your baby whether it’s going on walks, playing, or just coexisting - I’ve done it all. The best feeling I have is knowing I’ve given my dog a life full of love and enrichment, and I’m happy to help as you do the same for yours. I also have owned a cat and cat sit for friends and am more than happy to drop in on them and show them some love! I am definitely also a huge cat lady. I am very patient and understanding that I am a visitor to your pet and I will respect their boundaries while they are under my care. I currently live in a 1BR apartment, have a balcony but there are paths and a dog park even within my complex, so there’s no shortage of areas to walk! I always keep my babies on leash.
