“Corbyn is awesome u have been using her services for months. She treats my puppy great and is really good about communicating with me. I cannot recommend her enough! She is honestly is a gem!”

“I really appreciate Shelley so much. Our soft-coated wheaten terrier is always looking for a job, and sometimes I get too busy to find one for her. So Shelley comes every week during my morning bible study. This regular visit allows me to focus on my other responsibilities so that my heart is ready for meeting with my group and Jesus without being so stressed that I resent the pooch for needing so much attention. She's a great dog, but sometimes requires more focus, energy, and time than I'm able to give. The weekly break has proven to be a great investment. Shelley and Presley have become such great friends and a wonderful extension to our family for comfort and peace of mind. ❤️”

About: *I’m located in Smyrna TN* I love animals and pets! I'm familiar with training. Pets are allowed on the couch. My schedule is very open and flexible so I am able to accommodate for last minute requests (If spots are available) because I understand that sometimes last minute requests are necessary. I love boarding pets! I have taken care of other client's pets not using rover, including cats, while they are off on vacation. I'm available 7 days a week, 24 hours. I have immediate outdoor access and can provide a set food schedule routine. I enjoy training and cuddling and bonding, playing outside or chilling inside. I have a fenced yard with plenty of land. I have my own dog who is very friendly and playful with other dogs. I enjoy going on walks and playing with dogs to get their exercise requirements in. I provide a safe and pet friendly environment with treats and toys. And dogs can choose where they sleep on the couch at night.

I am excited to build trusting relationships with pet owners and their beloved companions while offering reliable and personalized pet care services. For short-term pet care, a simple guide of your pet's routine and needs would helpful to meet your expectations and ensure proper care during my visits. For example, feeding schedules and amounts, exercise/stimulation routines, medication administration (if applicable), and any other specific instructions. For longer-term or ongoing care, I believe in establishing trust and understanding through an onboarding call or visit. This allows me to get acquainted with your pet's personality, preferences, and any special needs they may have. For pets with special requirements, such as medical conditions or behavioral considerations, an onboarding session is essential to ensure I can provide the best possible care. By prioritizing open communication and personalized attention, I strive to create a seamless and stress-free experience for both owners and their beloved pets.

“Karissa is easy to communicate with and has always been responsive. We worked with her previously to watch our dog in our house for a couple days. She came for a preliminary visit to meet us and our pup. We had to cancel that trip due to an illness and Karissa was very understanding and accommodating with our need to cancel. We reached out again recently for a one-time walk, and appreciate that Karissa was able to accommodate our request on relatively short notice. She took great care of him and sent detailed info and photos of their time together. We already have another in-house appointment scheduled and feel comfortable that our pup is in good hands. We highly recommend Karissa!”

“My dog loves walks with Corrie. Corrie is always prompt and reliable and the fact that my dog loves her makes me feel better leaving her in Corrie's care. I highly recommend Corrie!”

About: I have always been an animal lover. I have had 4 cats to grow up with throughout my life, being my best friend since I was a baby, to watching me graduate from school. I love still getting to pet sit and see some of them from time to time. I recently moved back to Nashville with my cat, Lucky, and two German Shorthaired Pointers, Scout and Lily. Building a long-lasting, trustworthy relationship with my pet-sitting clients has given me the pleasure to care for some amazing dogs and get to watch them go from playful puppies to sassy seniors. I am very attentive to details, so whatever your paw-baby needs from exercise, medications, or specific diets, I am happy to fulfill their needs. I love taking my dogs on long walks at the park, and my dog Scout will have me throw his ball all day long. My dog Lily is a little bit of a lazy bean, so if your pet needs a snuggle friend, I am here to help. Keeping your mind at ease that your fur-babies are happy and thriving is my top priority, so I frequently message my clients with updates on their pets' eating progress, daily exercise, medications, and any additional needs. Oh, and of course, pictures of their paw-babies !!! I am available to take 2-3 total clients per day with drop in visits and dog walking services. If you are needing House Sitting Services message me a 2 weeks minimum in advance so I can fit it into my schedule. Drop In Visits Monday-Sunday I will visit your pet 2-3 times per day spending time with them and taking them out for a walk or playing with them and their toys. I will give them fresh food and water every time I visit and give medicine if requested. If your pet is a little lazy bug like my dog Lily and just wants to couch surf and bird watch out the window I am happy to help. I will update you with photos and updates on how your fur-baby is doing throughout the day. Rates for House Sitting clients are higher to reflect on current gas prices and multiple travels to and from your home. When house sitting at a clients home I will watch over your fur-baby for 2-3 time periods of the (day and evening). Spending the night at the clients home if needed. When I have to leave your home to let my dogs out, your pet will stay on the pre-set bathroom break schedule max 4 hours. I will take your dogs out for walks if requested for drop in visit and house sitting bookings or I will make sure they get exercise in your home playing with their toys. For my cat clients I will make sure they get their exercise with their toys and they will get fresh food, water, and a clean box each day. Rates for House Sitting clients are higher to reflect on current gas prices and multiple travels to and from your home.
“Diana had been awesome to my new puppy! She has been working with him and taking him out for me since he was about 9 weeks old. She has awesome communication and always available and willing to help no matter if it’s early mornings or later nights. I’m so appreciative to have her around!”

About: I currently work at a vet clinic as a vet assistant. I have to make sure the animals are clean and that their cages are too and do any other kennel work. As well as putting owners and their pets in rooms before the vet sees them and I also will assist when anyone asks me whether it is just holding a dog, or drawing blood, etc. I own a cat here at college and 3 dogs back home. I’m currently a student at Mississippi State. But have a lot of off time when not in class. And especially during the summer I can give your pets a lot of attention. I currently have 3 dogs, a cat, and a turtle. I regularly feed my pets. I let out my dog regularly to go to the bathroom. I clean out my turtle tank regularly as well. I also have to give my dogs medicine regularly and clean out my dogs ears. I also will bath then regularly. I have a cat that stays with me at college too.
“Katherine is great! Very patient and accommodating. My dog has anxiety and she was able to calm her down and make sure she felt comfortable. She came with treats for my pup which was fantastic! Highly recommended for anyone to use!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
