Availability
Given I have two huskies at home, my schedule is structured around caring for them as well as the pets I’m looking after. If I don’t check on my own pups, I’ll hear about it—literally they make sure I know I’ve been gone too long when I get home. I’m currently not working full time, which gives me good flexibility and availability for pet care throughout the week. I’m able to provide reliable visits and consistent care, and I just ask for a day or more notice when possible so I can plan accordingly and make sure every pet receives my full attention and care.

When I care for pets in your home, I treat it the same way I would want someone to care for mine—respectfully, responsibly, and with a lot of attention to detail. I follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible so they stay comfortable in their own environment, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, medications, and any special instructions. I take time to build trust with each pet so they feel safe and relaxed with me in their space, whether that means playtime, cuddles, or just keeping them company. I also make sure your home is cared for—keeping things clean, secure, and exactly how you left it. My goal is for your pets to feel at ease and for you to feel confident they’re in good hands while you’re away.

A typical day
I love to keep pets happy and engaged, and the best way is getting to know their personality first, then walks, play tug of war, catch, dog version of tag or for cats laser tag, and then of course giving them calm time and cuddles before leaving.

I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember and have experience caring for all kinds of pets, including dogs, cats, ferrets, lizards, and small rodents. I have two huskies of my own that I’ve raised since they were 8 weeks old, so I’m very comfortable with daily routines, training, and high-energy pups. I’m also very timely and organized, which helps me stay consistent with feeding schedules, potty breaks, and care routines. I’m confident and comfortable giving medications and vitamins when needed, as well as cleaning up any accidents without hesitation. I’ve helped friends care for their pets over the years, and I always treat every animal like my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and get plenty of attention, playtime, and cuddles while you’re away.

Nicole is an excellent and responsive communicator, which was very important due to this being the first time ever using Rover, let alone a pet sitter. She provided care and attention with my GSD that mirrored the texts and pictures I received throughout the check-in. Our GSD made a new friend 🧡 I confidently booked her again for an upcoming multi-day trip where she will be staying at the house for the duration. I do not typically leave reviews, but this was my privilege for a deserving professional.
Nicole was fantastic will definitely be using her again. Great communication skills, personable and loving to our dog. Highly recommend her.
