About: What sets me apart is my unique blend of experience with both senior dogs and playful puppies. I understand the special care seniors need for comfort and health, while also providing the energetic training and socialization that puppies thrive on. Friends and family have trusted me to watch their fur children for years. My passion for dogs ensures that each furry friend receives personalized attention and love tailored to their age and needs. I currently am not working and caring for my toddler. I have more than enough time to fit in caring for your precious furry friend. I love all animals and know how important a routine is. I am happy to help in any way I can. In my home, we have a senior dog, senior cat and a younger cat. They are such joys and fill our hearts with so much love. My senior dog is currently on medication administered daily, so I understand the importance of making sure timely medications occur. The cats share a litter box which is cleaned daily as well as shared food. I take my dog for a walk everyday for at least an hour.
“Gray was so incredible with our boys! They seemed so happy with her taking care of them and she sent the best photos and updates during our time away! We will definitely be booking her again for our boys during our next vacation! Thank you, Gray!!”

About: (Returning in January 2027 for bookings!) As a lifetime dog and cat owner, dog walker at a local animal shelter, and puppy foster, I am extremely passionate about animal welfare and very experienced. I have cared for senior dogs, including our family’s beloved boxer-pitt mix who passed in May of 2025, and I currently help my mom wrangle her 120 pound Great Dane named Moose. I fostered puppies of all ages and sizes (and their mamas too on rare occasions) and am very comfortable with all the ups-and-downs of puppy ownership. All that to say, there is no age, size, or energy level range that I haven’t encountered! I don’t mind if your pup needs me to take them out at 3am to potty, needs food that requires 30 minutes of preparation beforehand, or has a medication routine that requires a lot of hiding things in peanut butter. It’s all standard protocol for me! I’d love to meet your pets and give you the peace of mind that they are deeply loved and cared for when they’re with me. I work full-time M-F 7am-4pm, but am able to work from home when needed. I would try to work from home as much as possible when scheduled to petsit, and on days where that is not possible, take half days. My job is thankfully very flexible! I am someone who would rather be overly-cautious to a sometimes ridiculous degree. I will take every precaution to keep your pet and home safe and in a comfortable environment. I am knowledgeable about the health and safety issues when it comes to young puppies and vaccinations/decreasing parvo risk. I value communication and would rather receive too much information about your pet and its routine than too little! Feel free to send me a ten page essay about your pets, their routine, and what steps you’d like me to take to keep them happy, safe, and healthy.
About: I have taken care of puppies, kittens, senior pups, cats, and those in the middle ages! I can accommodate frequent feeding/ walking/ water refill/ medication schedules if I am staying overnight. I am familiar with pet meds and physical therapy needs after helping my own baby through FHO surgery. I am happy to go on longer walks and spend time outside with your baby or just give lots and lots of pets! I can accommodate special needs or abilities, please just be detailed in your request and care routines. I’m available all day for overnight house sitting! For drop-in visits and dog walks, my schedule is open to your needs and even late night! Whether I’m staying overnight or coming by for daily visits, I focus on keeping your pet’s normal routine intact so they feel safe, calm, and loved. -In Your Home (Overnight & Drop-ins): I follow their feeding, potty, and medication schedules, clean up any messes immediately, and respect your house rules. I ensure all doors and gates remain secure during walks and backyard time. -Love & Engagement: I spend dedicated quality time playing, walking, and cuddling so they never feel lonely while you're away. -Clear Communication: You’ll get detailed daily check-ins with photo and video updates, giving you total peace of mind that your home and pets are in caring hands.
About: I’ve always had a passion for animals, especially the ones who need a little extra love or patience. I have experience with behavioral and allergy-prone dogs, and my background as a pharmacy technician gives me confidence when it comes to medications and health needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first! I work Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, so I’m available for evening visits, walks, and weekend care. Whether your cat needs calm companionship or your dog needs a gentle hand, I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own. 🐾 I’ve cared for many pets in their own homes, helping them feel safe and relaxed while their owners are away. I always follow each pet’s routine to keep things as normal and stress-free as possible.
About: I have had pets since the day I was born. As an adult I have cared for cats, dogs and some exotic pets as well. I love animals and know you can’t be everywhere at once. I have been entrusted to care for celebrities pets including on tour in multiple cities. My experience as a personal assistant comes in handy when it comes to helping with tasks you may not have time or energy for. The goal is to make pet parents feel confident in their pets care & happiness with each service. I have a pretty flexible schedule and will happily discuss particular times and schedules based on you and your pet’s needs. Some days are completely open while other will have some blocks of time I am unavailable. Right now I am not offering pet care in my home, but I know the importance of respecting an animal’s environment along with their parents space and rules. I am diligent about ensuring pets are kept safe & where they need to be.

About: Hey there! I’m Kyle, I am 23 years old and just graduated from the University of South Carolina. I am here in Brentwood with my parents for the next year or so and am trying to make some extra money before I accept a full time job and move out to my own place. I have had many pets since I was born, as well as a lot of random baby/house/pet sitting jobs since I was a freshman in high school. I love all types of dogs and pets, including my gigantic golden labradoodle Striker. I love walking and being outside and would love to meet and take care of your dog!! I have also grown up with many different dogs and animals so fully trust myself to keep your animals safe.

About: Hi! My name is Eve! I'm a lifelong dog lover and dependable pet caregiver who understands that pets are family. Over the years, I've cared for many different breeds, sizes, and personalities of dogs. I've helped walk dogs for friends, neighbors, and family members, and I've provided dog-sitting care for many pet owners while they were away. Whether your dog loves to play or prefers a quieter environment, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and included.
Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Brentwood Estates
Hallie did drop ins for our pups Molly and Finn on a very special weekend for us - our wedding! We know from previous visits that she takes the best care of our two pups and once again she exceeded our expectations! She is such a wonderful person and truly has a heart for pups. Bonus - she takes the best photos!!!! We love her so much. ❤️

We had such a great experience with Christine! She stopped by every day around 1:00 while I was at work, my son was at school, and my husband was traveling, and it gave me such peace of mind knowing our pup was in good hands. She was prompt, dependable, and truly took the time to play with him both inside and outside, make sure he had plenty of water, and give him some attention and exercise during the day. She also made sure he was safely kenneled before she left. I especially appreciated the detailed notes and pictures she shared through Rover after each visit — it was so nice to be able to see how he was doing while I was away. She did exactly what she said she would do and went above and beyond to make sure our pup was happy and cared for. I would absolutely recommend her and will definitely use her again!

So thankful to have found Jill to take care of my fur babies. I always hate leaving them but knew they were being well taken care of. She showed up for the meet and greet with pen and paper in hand for notes. While we were gone she communicated at each visit with pictures and questions if she had any. Will definitely be using her again in the future!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first .
sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
