About: I have experience as both a dog sitter and watcher on Rover, but had to take an extended break due to work, however, now that I have time again I would love to help take care of your fur baby! I am currently taking a break from the corporate world so have a very flexible schedule and am happy to take your pup for long or short walks or do longer or short house visits. Anything to make your pup as comfy as they can be when you are away! I have experience dealing with senior dogs with mobility, incontinence, and cognitive issues. I also have experience ensuring any bully or flat nose breed dogs do not overheat during the hot Nashville summers. I will always keep your baby on a leash and only provide treats if allowed (but will always provide praise and pats).
âOnce again, Ellen was the best sitter for my fur babies! Didnât have to worry about them while we were out of the country because we knew they were in good hands!! Highly recommend!â

Robin was AMAZING with our 2 cats (10 years old & 4 months old). Punctual, lots of pictures, videos, and extensive notes, plus her gentle personality shows why sheâs a purrfect match to care for cats. They loved her and we canât wait to hire her again! đž

Weâve used Connor a number of times while we go out of town. Heâs consistently responsive, timely, and does a great job taking care of our cats. Iâm incredibly appreciative of him and would recommend him to anyone looking for someone to take care of their pets.

Sarah was positively amazing! She was so kind and attentive to Gus's needs and even thought of things that I (his owner) didn't think about. She went above and beyond to make sure that Gus felt safe and secure. She took adorable photos of Gus and kept me updated on him throughout our time away. I cannot recommend Sarah highly enough!

Amy was a wonderful sitter for our elusive cat, Neko. She was very respectful of our home, extremely communicative, and aware of his needs throughout our time away. She was also very helpful in giving us updates on our home while we were away - giving us peace of mind. We were very happy with Amy and will happily book her again when are away from our Neko!

I canât recommend her enough! She watched my dog, Apollo, for four days while I was away, and I had complete peace of mind the entire time. Apollo can be a little hesitant with new people, but she was incredibly patient and took the time to earn his trust instead of rushing the process. Before long, they were absolute besties, and it was so reassuring to see how comfortable and happy he became with her. She followed every care instruction perfectly and truly goes above and beyond to make sure the dogs in her care feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I also really appreciated her daily updates and detailed feedback about how each visit wentâit made being away from Apollo so much easier. Itâs obvious she genuinely cares about the animals she looks after, and Apollo absolutely adored her. I have no doubt heâll be thrilled the next time he gets to spend time with her. I would trust her with him again in a heartbeat!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
