Megan & Kerry took great care of Olivia Benson for days. Communication was prompt and all our requests were honored. Their sweet pup Monty shared her fluffy bed and her toys with Olivia … we can’t wait to go back!!

Emily took wonderful care of my fur baby, Sugar, while we were visiting Nashville. She has a large fenced yard where the dogs can play, and I appreciated the extra safety measures she took. Emily put Sugar’s collar on in addition to her harness in case she somehow got loose, which showed me she was thinking ahead and treating Sugar like one of her own. Before I left, Emily carefully introduced Sugar to the other dogs and made sure everyone got along and that Sugar was comfortable. That gave me tremendous peace of mind. I felt completely comfortable leaving my girl in her care, and it was obvious Sugar was well loved and well cared for while we were away. I would happily trust Emily with Sugar again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and conscientious pet sitter.

About: Welcome to my profile! For 6 years I’ve shared my life with a rescue dog (Buster) and have walked and boarded dogs regularly since moving to Nashville in 2024. Buster loves having company around! I’m especially good with shy or protective rescues, but I can accommodate any size or breed of dog. Puppies are welcome as well. Calm energy, reliable routines, and great care guaranteed. Quick weekend getaway? Running out of town on a last-minute notice? 2 week Vacation? Just reach out and let me know what dates you need covered and I’m your guy! Buster has proven to be a good hang for any dog. You can ensure that your dog will not be bored or bothered! From long walks by the river to movie nights chilling on the couch, my spot has proven to be a great place to host your pup. Send me a request and I will be quick to respond! I understand that leaving your pup with a complete stranger can be a bit nerve-wracking. Especially if your dog has any specific needs. Worrying about how your dog is doing while you’re out of town is the last thing need to be concerned about. I will make sure to set up a meet-and-greet prior to your pup’s stay to ensure that trust is established and that you are comfortable and confident in the decision to book with me 🤙 I can work around whatever your needs are! My job is flexible and I can work from home. You can guarantee that your dog will be given proper attention and exercise throughout the duration of their stay. Safe, dog-proofed home in an apartment complex right by the riverwalk with lots of dog-friendly accommodations. Will follow your exact routines and needs. And of course, daily photos and updates!

Daria is literally the BEST when it comes to someone watching your pup. I have a brand new puppy (now 3 months old) and work 12 hours shifts. Daria was always willing to be up early to let me drop off Mack on the way into work and grab her on my way back from work. I genuinely felt like Daria loved Mack as her own and always felt as ease when Mack was with her. She sent me plenty of pictures throughout the day and now Mack has a new best friend, Boone. Thank you Daria :)

About: I'm newly home all day and want to help out folks who need someone who will truly care for their furry friend. I'm a dog lover and have two rescued doodles. They are both dog, cat, and kid friendly and can't wait to make new friends! My dogs get one walk a day, plus potty breaks in our yard, as needed. This is how I take care of our Rover friends, too. I do more walks when the Nashville weather isn't scorching! My priority is to provide the care that your dog needs. I have a fenced-in backyard and love all doggos. I can't wait to meet you!

About: Hi! I'm Allison, and as a devoted dog mom myself, I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pup with someone new. My goal is to make both you and your dog feel as comfortable as possible by providing a calm, safe, and loving home while you're away. I recently moved back to Nashville after spending seven years in Denver. Before that, I cared for dogs through Rover here in Nashville and was fortunate to build relationships with many wonderful repeat clients. I'm so excited to have the time and space in my schedule to welcome dogs into my home again! I work from home, so your dog will have plenty of companionship throughout the day. My dog, Birdie, is an 8.5 lb sweetheart who loves making new friends but is just as happy spending the afternoon snoozing beside me. Because we live in an apartment and enjoy a quieter lifestyle, I exclusively board small dogs (open to medium if we sound like a good fit!) who thrive in a calm environment. Every dog is different, and I want to keep their routine as consistent as possible. Whether they have a favorite toy, specific feeding schedule, medications, or little quirks that help them feel at home, I'd love to hear all about them. Birdie takes a nightly pill, so I'm comfortable administering oral medications and am happy to keep up with your dog's medication schedule while they're in my care. Birdie is crated when I’m not home, but if your dog prefers to free roam that is totally okay. I'll treat your pup with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else, and I don't take that responsibility lightly. If you're looking for a peaceful home where your dog will be cared for like family, I'd love to meet you and your pup! Pet care is already a part of my everyday routine! I work from home, so I'm able to provide plenty of companionship, potty breaks, and individualized attention throughout the day. My dog, Birdie, and I enjoy a calm lifestyle with walks when the weather is nice, lots of downtime, and plenty of cuddles. I'll do my best to keep your dog's routine as consistent as possible so they feel comfortable and at home during their stay. Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I only board small dogs (medium dogs are welcome if we seem like a good fit!) so everyone has plenty of space to relax, and because I work from home, they'll be supervised and have lots of companionship throughout the day. I take time to learn each dog's routine, preferences, and any medical needs so I can make their stay feel as familiar and stress-free as possible. My goal is for your pup to feel like they're staying with family, not just a sitter. This extends to your home as well, but your pet gets the added benefit of being in a familiar place. Please note that for overnight stays, my 3-year-old/8-lb dog, Birdie, will be tagging along. She’s fully potty trained, a little shy but great with dogs AND cats. I’m more than happy to answer any questions you may have about her, and we would of course love to meet you if this sounds like a good fit! .

About: -Worked for an Animal Chiropractor for 4 years, I also was hired to pet sit some of my clients fur babies. -Worked doggy day care and was a kennel technician at a pet resort for 2 years - interned at a wolf sanctuary for 1 year -volunteered at a free roam cat shelter for 2 years I work remotely as a customer service representative, so I'm home throughout the day and have a flexible schedule to provide plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and potty breaks. I'm also an avid traveler, so I don't currently have pets of my own. Rover is the perfect way for me to enjoy the companionship I've been missing while giving your pet lots of love, care, and attention in a safe, comfortable environment. I currently reside in an apartment that boasts a secure, gated courtyard in the complex. Also, there is great walking and parks in my area.

About: I'm a dog trainer first, sitter second. I've cared for dogs since getting my own three years ago, self-taught through hands-on trial and error. My American Bulldog and I walk off-leash through downtown Nashville daily — strangers stop to compliment his manners. I specialize in powerful, often-misunderstood breeds like Bullies, Pitbulls, Rottweilers, and American Bulldogs, and I bring real training reinforcement to every stay or walk, not just supervision. Pet care is my full-time focus, not a side gig squeezed into spare hours. I'm available every day except Sunday — Monday through Friday 7am to 7pm, Saturdays 9am to 5pm — for walks, drop-ins, daycare, boarding, and training sessions. I live in a 2-bedroom apartment with my own dog, who's friendly with other animals. The complex has a fenced, secured dog park and an on-site wash station for baths after walks or park time. I keep a crate on hand, though I prefer clients bring their own for their dog's comfort. Boarding is capped at three dogs at a time, small to medium sized only, so every dog gets real attention rather than getting lost in a pack.

We are from West TN, but visit Nashville to see our adult children. We immediately liked Eli, he gave off a very trustworthy, friendly vibe. The doggies went with him without looking back, lol. They evidently had a great time with Eli. He kept them for a few hours while we went out in Nashville to hear our son sing/play. Eli lives near midtown, so it was very close to drop them/pick them up. Mello and Rip can be a bit “much” together, but Eli handled them like a champ! Eli took them on a walk, which they love, and they were happy doggies when we picked them up. We have already referred Eli to our friends who live in Nashville, that need a night away or time to get things done. We will definitely use Eli again.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Nashville on Rover is $36.63 per day (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of August 2026, there are 1,252 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Nashville. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Nashville commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 1,252 sitters in Nashville, 87% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
