“This was my first time leaving my pup Tony with someone! I went through all the “nervous dad” feelings, but the moment I got that first picture of my boy from Michelle i IMMEDIATELY felt better. Michelle and Bryce were so good at keeping him busy- it seemed like playtime was all day! They treated Tony like he was their own, and I’m so greatful! I wish I could book myself a vacation at Michelle and Bryce’s home!”

“We had a 10/10 Rover experience with Marissa! She was super easy to coordinate with and we could tell that she took the best care of Eddie. He was so sleepy when we brought him home from playing with her pup all weekend! We will definitely be calling her again.”

“Kirsten did a great job and our dog Juno was happy. She provided updates and pictures while we were on vacation which made us feel comfortable that our dog was having a good time. Will definitely book again! Thanks!”

“Teresa was absolutely wonderful! She took such great care of my fur babies—sending regular updates and the sweetest photos. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. She’s kind, reliable, and a joy to work with. I’ll definitely be booking with her again!”
“We had a great experience! They have two dogs of a similar size to ours, and both were very friendly. We did a meet-and-greet before booking to make sure all three dogs got along well, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. Everything went smoothly, and our dog was comfortable and well cared for the entire time. We felt very confident that our dog was in a safe and happy environment. Highly recommend!”

“Savannah was very accommodating on short notice. She was willing to watch both my pups and didnt even bat an eye lash when we went from no medications to three for my young pup that had a sudden onset of diarrhea the day before I was leaving for my trip. When I picked up my pups they both looked happy and healthy. Highly recommend”

“Finn had so much fun hanging out with Macy and Teddy for the weekend! Macy was very communicative, flexible and easy to work with! Thank you Macy, I will definitely be reaching out for future trips!”

About: For the past 10 years, I have dedicated myself to pet sitting, providing long walks, boarding, and even some training. Growing up, I was never able to have pets of my own, so pet sitting has given me the joy of welcoming, many animals into my life as a part of my extended family. My reliability, friendliness, and patience, have allowed me to build trusting relationships with both pets and their owners, ensuring that every pet in my care feels safe, loved and wellcared for. I am in the works to enter graduate school, allowing for plenty of time to take care of your pet babies. Caring for them would make my day a bit more brighter Your pets are allowed in my home as my own, lots of cuddles, walks, and love. When at your home I will make sure to follow all task asked, play time, and many belly rubs
About: Hi! I’m Reganne, and I’ve been caring for dogs for over 10 years. Growing up, I regularly watched our neighbors’ four dogs—including a Boxer, Yorkie, Puggle, and mixed breed—so I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. Today I’m a proud Labrador mom myself, so I know how important it is to leave your dog with someone who will care for them like their own. I’ve experienced everything from puppy energy to medications, post-surgery recovery, and giving lots of extra love to anxious pups. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, sticking to a routine, or simply curling up on the couch for cuddles, I’m happy to tailor my care to what makes them happiest. I’ll also send plenty of photo and video updates because I know that’s what I’d want if someone were watching my own dog! My goal is simple: for you to enjoy your time away knowing your best friend is safe, loved, and having a great time. I work full-time with a flexible schedule, which allows me to come home throughout the day. Your pup will never be left alone for more than about 4 hours at a time. Before work, we’ll start the day with a walk, potty break, breakfast (if needed), and some playtime. I’ll come home midday for another potty break, exercise, and plenty of attention before returning home after work for the evening. My goal is to keep your dog’s routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. I know firsthand how hard it is to leave your dog with someone else. My goal is to make both you and your pet feel completely comfortable from the moment we meet. I’ll follow your dog’s routine as closely as possible, whether that’s medications, feeding schedules, crate training, favorite toys, or sleeping arrangements. I keep a clean, calm, pet-friendly home and believe communication is just as important as great care. You’ll receive regular photo and video updates, so you’ll always know your best friend is safe, happy, and loved.

“Went out of town for the weekend. Seems like Darcy enjoyed herself with the other two pups. Jaliyah sent photos and was super responsive when I texted. Hoping to use her again when I need to leave my dog over night!”

Laura is an exceptional dog sitter. I boarded my dog with her for a week and knew my dog was in good hands. Laura is knowledgeable and intuitive about dogs in general and in the specific needs of my dog. She sent me videos and texts throughout the week which reassured me of my dog's wellbeing.

Delilah was absolutely wonderful with my dog, Ginger! She cared for her for 10 days while my husband and I traveled overseas, and I had complete peace of mind the entire time. She kept me updated, was flexible with scheduling, and treated Ginger like one of her own. When we picked Ginger up, she was happy, healthy, and clearly well loved. It was obvious she had received lots of attention and affection. I truly appreciate the care Delilah provided and wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, reliable, and caring pet sitter!!

Savannah was very accommodating on short notice. She was willing to watch both my pups and didnt even bat an eye lash when we went from no medications to three for my young pup that had a sudden onset of diarrhea the day before I was leaving for my trip. When I picked up my pups they both looked happy and healthy. Highly recommend

Allie and Katya are simply the best sitters! Their care and attention is bar-none. Daily updates were shared and the best gift they gave was my peace of mind. Knowing my senior pup was in the best of hands allowed me to enjoy carefree. I will definitely be reaching out to them again in the future! ❤️❤️

Krissy was amazing! I have a bit of an anxious/reactive dog so leaving him with anyone scared me to death. As soon as I met her I knew she would make both of us feel safe and worry free! He was so happy and she sent me pictures of Ralphie/kept me updated several times a day. Would definitely recommend her for your babies :)

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
