“My dogs absolutely LOVE Leah and her entire family! This was their second stay there and they knew where we were headed the minute I turned down her road, they could hardly contain their excitement and literally leapt out of my car when we arrived! Leah is so sweet and sends daily updates with adorable pictures. You can always see how much fun they are having! It’s so nice not having to worry about them, it’s obvious they are receiving not only great care but tons of love, too!! Thank you, Leah! You and your family are top notch!”

“Molly was great! We went on a long weekend trip and our dog seemed very happy and comfortable there. She even took her on a 5 mile walk! We will definitely be using Molly in the future!”

“Hannah and Ryan took excellent care of our new little dog who suffers from separation anxiety. They were patient with her especially being timid and recently spayed. Once she was comfortable at their home, they introduced her to Beans, their cat. Would book again if out of town. Plus is they only take one pet at a time.”

“He looked like he had a ball! This is our second time leaving him in boarding care and after 20 minutes of leaving I was no longer worried. Thanks for giving us a relaxing 10 day adventure and Jack will be back to play more.”

“Our two dogs had a great week with Brandon! He was so responsive to questions and sent us photos and videos daily. Our dogs came home happy and we will definitely be using Brandon again!”

“Very trustworthy and responsive with updates daily. We left our 2 dogs with her while out of the country for a week. The dogs came back happier than when we left them. We plan to try to use again and recommend them.”

“Katherine was the best!! She made Koda feel right at home, snuggled with him, walked him, and got some good backyard play time in. I was very grateful that she took such good care of my nervous boy! Definitely will reach out again :)”

“Pamela was an excellent Foster Mom for our sweet girl! She sent pictures and was even willing to hold onto her longer when a volcano opened up on our vacation to Hawaii! (Fortunately, we were able to get unscathed!) 5 ⭐️ for sure!”

“Olivia was excellent! Myles truly loved the love and attention he received 😊 which makes mama’s heart happy too. Would definitely rebook against. Thank you Olivia.”

“Nathan was great! So communicative. He was so good to our girl. She came home happy and exhausted from all her fun! Will definitely use him again!!”

“Margaret was fantastic. Our pup was so well cared for, and he was very active the whole time (per his Fi collar). She sent us great videos and pictures everyday and was flexible with pick up/drop off times with us when we thought our plane might get delayed.”

“First time trying Rover and can’t recommend Madeline enough! She was great from start to finish! Extremely communicative, thoughtful, and energetic. I know Piper had a great time during her stay and I’m sure anyone’s furry friend would have the same great experience!”

“Waka had a great time with Gary. Gary sent pictures and videos during Waka's stay. Waka is high energy and Gary worked well with him. I dropped off and picked up a happy pup!”

“Austin was a great dog sitter for Moose! He kept me updated with messages and pictures - and I’m sure Moose really enjoyed having a playmate, Lucy, as well. Would 100% use Austin again and recommend you do too!”

“John was very accommodating and worked with us. I was a little nervous about leaving my (new) dog (Brownie is a shy dog at first) with anyone but I felt comfortable that he was going to do well and both him and Brownie ended up hitting it off! Highly recommend!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Goodlettsville
I had my two dogs with Niyired for 6 days. They were well taken care of and they seemed happy in their boarding place. The place was clean and they had ample place to play. The sitter sent pics from time to time. I wished to get more pics as we missed our dogs a lot during the travel. But it was really nice of her to help us at the last minute when two other sitters canceled. We will surely use this sitter again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
