“Laura and her daughter did a great job caring for my fussy cat while I was away. She gave him plenty of attention and care, sent updates and photos, and helped me feel at ease knowing he was being looked after. I would be happy to book with her again. Thanks again, Laura!”

“Claire is wonderful- was a life saver for Beatrice! Had a walker suddenly quit on me short notice - sent Claire a request on a Sunday and she was at my house for meet and greet the same day. I work so much and it is a relief that my Beatrice is cared for and it is truly sincere as she is a fur mom too!”
“Yan did a great job with my two cats! One of my cats is really particular about things and she adjusted great to his needs. So so happy with her! I could travel with the peace of mind that my babies were well taken care of! Highly recommend, especially for owners with more particular cats!”

“Yea, I found a new pet sitter! My previous pet sitter, who I loved, recently retired from pet sitting so I was left with the task of finding a replacement who could fill her shoes. I found that and more with Sarah! She did an awesome job taking care of my cat Smokey. Very thorough and professional covering all the needed bases. I highly recommend her if you're looking!”

“Dana is a gem! She took incredible care of my cats and made my place look better than when she showed up! She thoroughly cleaned all the litter and made friends with my cat and always got freshwater as well… Like clockwork every morning and evening… 10 stars as far as I’m concerned! Thank you so much, Dana… Highly highly recommend her!”

“Heather did a meet & greet the day before we had her scheduled. She was a great fit for our two Golden Retrievers. She completed both visits including notes and pictures. We will definitely use Heather again!”
About: As a lifelong animal lover and experienced dog owner, I understand that every pet has a unique personality and needs. I’ve raised and trained two medium-to-large dogs with very different temperaments—one with fear-based aggression and the other a confident, strong-willed Husky. Through those experiences, I learned the importance of patience, consistency, positive reinforcement, and understanding canine body language to help dogs feel safe and confident. Outside of pet care, I’m a full-time elementary school teacher. My career has strengthened my ability to provide calm, reliable care while maintaining clear, consistent boundaries with kindness and compassion. I believe those same qualities help pets feel secure and build trust quickly. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, enrichment activities, cuddles on the couch, or simply having a calm companion while you’re away, I’m happy to tailor my care to their routine and personality. I’ll treat your pets as if they were my own and make sure they receive plenty of attention, affection, and attentive care. As a teacher, my availability is greatest during evenings, weekends, holidays, and school breaks, and I always strive to provide dependable communication and updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I have flexibility during breaks from school, and weekends are also flexible for me morning, afternoon, evenings. I am occasionally available weeknights during the school year. I have a fenced in yard with space to run and I have a dog that is very social. My dog is not crated, yours can be if you prefer (please provide crate if needed).
“Sarah is excellent! She’s a very responsive and took great care of my cats while I was away on holidays. Would definitely recommend her as a responsible and friendly sitter.”

“Victoria was so sweet with our Macadamia! She was very generous to take her on walks, pick up her poop in the yard, & bring our packages in. Will definitely book again! I know our dog Mac was in great hands☺️”

About: Hello! I would love to take care of your dog while you are away! We now have a sweet cavapoo so your dog needs to be friendly to other dogs. I am home all the time so your dog will receive plenty of love and attention. In order to provide individualized attention I will only house sit one dog at a time. I can take your dog for walks or they can stay home, whatever you prefer. Your dog will be treated like family in my home. My family always had small dogs so I will only house sit little guys that are good and gentle to children and our puppy. We have had experience with senior dogs and dogs that required medication. I will just need detailed instructions on how to better care for them. I look forward meeting you and your sweet little pet. We are usually home all the time. My husband works from home, so someone will be with your dog at all times except rare exceptions. We have a fenced yard and your dog will always be supervised. We also put gates on the front porch when a dog is visiting to avoid runaways. We have a friendly small Cavapoo so your dogs needs to get along with other dogs.
About: - I DO NOT TAKE DOGS THAT ARENT HOUSE TRAINED - I DO NOT TAKE DOGS OVER 10 YEARS OLD I have owned animals from dogs/cats to reptiles and birds. Doing this to hang out with animals without getting my own as I travel for work right now. Message me to negotiate price, very negotiable. I mostly work from home but do go into the office every now and then. When I am caring for an animal in my home I will not be going into the office unless totally needed, my entire schedule can be devoted to your pet. I like to try and make pets feel comfortable, I know their owner leaving can be stressful and I want to try and mitigate that. I am not the type to feed them and run, I will be spending significant amounts of time with your pet whether that’s in my home or yours.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Goodlettsville
Honey has taken care of our cat and dog several times now, and she has easily become our favorite sitter. We always try to book her first whenever we need someone because we know our pets are in such wonderful hands. She is truly fantastic with both animals. Our dog is usually very reserved, but he has really come to love Honey and feels comfortable around her, which is rare. Our cat is much easier to please, but loves her too. Honey doesn’t just feed them and leave — she plays with them, gives them lots of love and attention, and really goes the extra mile to make sure they’re happy and comfortable while we’re away. We feel completely at ease knowing Honey is caring for them. She’s reliable, trustworthy, and clearly loves what she does. If you’re looking for a pet sitter who treats your animals like her own, look no further. We can’t recommend Honey highly enough!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Goodlettsville. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
