About: I grew up with dogs and cats and haven’t looked back! We currently have two dogs, 7 & 1, Shiloh and Shepherd. I raised a puppy with my sister and most recently Shepherd who is a retriever/poodle mix. I am currently building a small business but it is very flexible. I can be available every day at any hour and would love overnights, weekends and longer term stays! I will treat them as my own. We will spend a lot of time together. I love taking walks and having a furry friend with me. I want them to feel as safe and secure with you gone as possible. I will provide daily photo and text updates so you can see what fun we've been having. I will bring in the mail, take out the trash, and water plants as well.
“Ashley was super sweet! My dog can be hyper and she was able to handle her with no problems! And she was able to accommodate to my dogs schedule. Your dog will be well taken care of in her hands!”

“Claire is wonderful- was a life saver for Beatrice! Had a walker suddenly quit on me short notice - sent Claire a request on a Sunday and she was at my house for meet and greet the same day. I work so much and it is a relief that my Beatrice is cared for and it is truly sincere as she is a fur mom too!”
“Cassi is amazing with our two dogs, Bear & Maggie. Cassi gave Maggie, our shy girl, time to slowly warm up to her, eventually winning her over. They enjoy her visits, and we are relieved to know they are loved and well-cared for while we are gone. We are grateful to have found Cassi and look forward to continuing to have her watch our pups!”

“We were so lucky to connect with Dana for a last minute pet sit. She was very communicative and followed our instructions to a tee. We would definitely use her again and highly recommend her!”

About: I have always had pets in the home. I have watched a lot of animals over the years & I even make sure the family comes back to a clean home. You wont even know I was there. I currently only work part time from 8 AM - 2 PM so there is plenty of time to play with the dogs/cats. I don't do much on the weekends so I would be at the house most of the time! I live with 2 dogs myself now & I love to cuddle with them & play. I currently do not watch dogs in my own home but would love to come to yours. This also helps so the dogs/cats are comfortable in their own space.

“Morgan was literally the best. One of our cats was diagnosed with diabetes just a couple weeks before we went out of town and Morgan was quick to learn how to give him his insulin and make sure both of our cats were alive and well taken care of the whole time we were gone!! We've never had to hire a cat sitter before so this was an incredible first experience. We're so thankful for her & can't wait to have her back!”

Jennifer is amazing!! Really goes above and beyond. My cats loved her so much that they didn’t really care when I came back from my trip lol. She even took the trash out for me which was so nice. She is very thoughtful and sent me pictures of the cats as well.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
