“Second time booking with Ashlie. She checks in on the girls and takes them on walks which they seems tired tired from. Exactly what we want! She checks in and asks questions about changes in the dogs temperament and goes the extra mile to wipe their feet from the rain! Thank you!”

“Felt very comfortable and at ease leaving my 13 YO senior husky in Mary’s care! She was very quick to respond/communication was a breeze. She seemed experienced and confident with large breeds. My husky seemed very at ease and happy with her during the meet and greet as well. Will def be booking her again if I’m in need of a sitter!! Thanks Mary!”
“Hayley is a dream! ☁️✨ I contacted her for home drop in visits for my 3 cats and i could not have chosen better. She was able to come do a meet and greet at my home before hand and do a quick walk around of care instructions. She is super friendly, loves animals and takes such good care of them. She is super flexible and works around any needs with your pets and makes sure to send feedback and pictures of how your pets are doing throughout. She takes time to spend time with them and make sure they’re well and set. My cats had an accident and she was able to jump in and take care of it. She responds to texts quickly and proactively answers any questions, specially for this cat mamma that was so scared to leave her cats for a long time for the first time. Hayley is so easy to work with and I 100% recommend her service. I know I will definitely reach out back to her to look after my cats again. Hayley, you are so awesome and caring! Thank you for everything! You’re the best! ?”

“Christa will be our go to cat sitter going forward. She was punctual, communicative, and just all around great with our cats. We enjoyed our vacation knowing that our cats were well taken care of. 10/10 recommend”

“I had to go out of town because of an emergency and Ashley visit my dog Luna, that's a very timid, nervous dog during all 4 days and she was really great taking care of her. Highly recommended!”

“Emily did a phenomenal job. She was very reliable, professional, and dependable when it came to making sure our three babies were taking care of during our travels outside of the country. We will definitely be using Emily again.”
“Appreciated the care and attention Cyndie provided. Her photos were great and often showed a tired dog from having so much fun. Great communication which left me feeling settled being away from home.”

About: I had a dog for 17 years and a cat for 10. I love animals and since my dog passed, I would love to take care of other people's pets while I am grieving the loss of mine. My dog being a senior helped me learn how to administer different meds if your animal needs that. I work in education so I work from 7:30- 3:30 but come home for lunch everyday to check in and go out for a potty break. I have a friendly cat. I have a decent sized back yard with a dog chain. My neighborhood is also very walkable for physical activity.
“Liz was absolutely amazing watching our two cats! Very thoughtful, communicative, and caring. We got reports every day including super cute pictures! Absolutely recommend- the best sitter we’ve had after many years using rover!”
“Hannah was so kind to fill a very last minute need to walk my dog. She was very quick to respond, on time and did a great job keeping me informed of her visit with him. Would definitely recommend!”

“Jordan was wonderful! She stopped by multiple times during our trip and spent time loving on our pup and sent us a picture each time. We'll definitely use her again!”

“Stephanie did an excellent job watching my pooch! She came to meet my dog prior to drop in visits and I could tell right away my dog was in good hands! She showed up on time and sent pics each day and even let me know the temperature in my house was getting cold and needed adjusting. I highly recommend using Stephanie if you have the chance, I know I will be using her again! Thanks for taking such good care of Cash!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Green Hill
Jenny was absolutely wonderful with our cat while we were away! She was reliable, caring, and gave us complete peace of mind knowing our pet was in such good hands. She took the time to make sure everything was taken care of and even kept us updated, which we really appreciated. We highly recommend Jenny to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter. Thank you, Jenny!

Dayna is so friendly and was great with my energetic pup and my unpredictable cat (sometimes coming inside sometimes not). She provided thorough communication throughout the entire weekend and even sent some cute pics. I would definitely trust my animals with her anytime and would love to work with her again!!
Crystal was absolutely excellent! We booked her fairly last minute for three drop-in visits for our cat. We had to extend it to five drop-ins due to a change in our flight, and she was flexible and helpful. She sent lots of photos and updates. She was even kind enough to drip our faucets since it was going to be super cold out, feed our fish, and brought in some packages for us. I would use Crystal again and recommend her!

Jordan is top-tier and took really great care of my cat. I would 100% rebook with Jordan. Jordan helped me out at the last minute for the holidays when I was in a bind. I received detailed information and photos of my cat while I was out of town for the week. I greatly appreciate Jordan’s help.

Andrea was amazing! I felt 100% confident that our Sasha girl was in good hands while we were away. Andrea came over beforehand to meet Sasha, and she was just lovely. There was great communication while we were away. I received pics and updates after visits, and could see everything back home was going great. I’m so happy to have found Andrea, and she’ll be my ‘go to’ in the future :)
With very short notice, Alicia agreed to drop in visits for our 2 cats. I explained that the cats would likely hide when she arrived as they are quite shy with people they don’t know. To our surprise, both cats came out to see her on the first visit! Alicia is very experienced with animals and we felt confident leaving our animals to her care. We will definitely be calling Alicia again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
