Animals have been my passion for as long as I can remember. I’ve had just about every animal you can imagine throughout my life—paws, hooves, claws, scales, you name it. Caring for animals isn’t simply a job for me; it’s something I genuinely love. I’ve worked as a veterinary technician full-time and part-time since 2002, giving me more than 20 years of hands-on experience caring for animals. I also spent 16 years as a zookeeper, where I cared for a wide variety of species and gained extensive experience with animal behavior, handling, health, and individualized care. Your pets will be in experienced hands with me. I’m comfortable caring for animals with different personalities, ages, routines, and medical needs. I have experience administering medications, including oral and injectable medications, as well as providing grooming care such as bathing, brushing, shaving, nail trims, and anal gland expression. My husband works from home, so one of us is always home with the pups. They’ll have plenty of companionship, attention, and supervision rather than being left alone for long periods. Most importantly, I understand how difficult it can be to leave your pets with someone else. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing they are safe, loved, comfortable, and receiving the same level of care and attention I would want for my own animals. Whether your pet needs a weekend of cuddles, a little extra patience, medication, grooming, or simply someone who understands animals, I’d love the opportunity to care for them🐾❤️

Schedule
I work during the day during the week but my husband is home all day and so your pups will always have one or both of us around to snuggle and play with.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a seven year old Australian Shepherd named Tucker who gets along amazingly with all. The yard is fully fenced in with a privacy fence and is completely secured. Tucker loves to burn off energy running but is also a big snuggle bug who loves spending time on the couch with us. Our dog and the dogs in our care are never just left outside alone. One of us is always out there with them throwing a ball or just hanging out watching.

A typical day
Depending on your dog’s activity level, we enjoy playing fetch with higher energy dogs that we watch or just lounging and loving on the older or more low energy ones.
