“Christa will be our go to cat sitter going forward. She was punctual, communicative, and just all around great with our cats. We enjoyed our vacation knowing that our cats were well taken care of. 10/10 recommend”

“Second time booking with Ashlie. She checks in on the girls and takes them on walks which they seems tired tired from. Exactly what we want! She checks in and asks questions about changes in the dogs temperament and goes the extra mile to wipe their feet from the rain! Thank you!”

“Yoko always does a fantastic job checking in on my kitty Holston. I’m a flight attendant and it’s tough to leave him but I always know he’s in good hands with Yoko.”

About: Nothing special about my pet care experience just a long time pet owner and enjoy being around animals.I don't have any fur babies currently, lost mine recently and I'm not ready to be a full time owner again, but happy to help y'all. I'm available on weekends fri-sun pretty much any time from 0700-1900 unless I notify clients about anything that would require to reschedule or cancel. Thank you. Personally for me my dogs in the past have always been a part of the family even if it gets other people rolling their eyes at me.

About: Hi! I'm Ben, and dogs have been the best part of my day for as long as I can remember. I've cared for everything from tiny seniors with medical needs to high-energy big breed pups who love to chew. I treat every dog and cat like one of my own and I'm excited to give your pet the same love I do to my mine! I work from home full time, which means your dog gets near-constant company rather than being left alone for hours. My schedule is flexible throughout the day, so I can keep up with feeding times, regular potty breaks, walks, and play without rushing. Rover's "Safety, trust & environment" section is where owners decide whether to actually hand you their dog, so it should be concrete and specific rather than reassuring fluff. Here's a blurb covering the full range of services, with placeholders for your details: Safety is the first thing I think about with every dog in my care. For boarding, my home has an acre yard with no busy roads nearby, and I keep dogs leashed and under close watch any time we're outside or in a new environment. I stick closely to feeding routines, medication schedules, and any instructions you give me. There is no improvising with your dog's care. You'll get photo and video updates at every visit, so you always know your dog is safe and happy. If anything ever seems off, you'll hear from me right away.
“Cyndie is always great with my pups! I know they are in good hands when she comes to spend a little bit of time with them. She provides excellent updates and tons of pictures! Highly recommend.”

“Awesome cat sitter. Shortly after the initial meet and greet, I already felt comfortable with Savannah taking care of my fuzzy family. She took pictures every day, well, whenever my cats came out of hiding ?. She even cleaned up the vomit! Very grateful for the care she offered. Thank you Savannah!”
About: I absolutely adore animals and would love to meet yours! I live in the Mount Juliet area, and I have a flexible schedule. I worked at a pet kennel during college, located in IL called Tanglewood Kennels. I have experience with many different breeds and sizes. I can be available for regular walks during weekdays too, as I am currently working remote/doing freelance. I am also available for dog or cat sitting in your home. Unfortunately, I can not bring pets to stay at my home, as I have a cat who is not very socialized atm. P.S If you have a Bernese Mountain dog please book me immediately, they melt my heart haha!
“Hannah is the literal best! Both my cat Jenkins and my dog Nana love her and she takes such good care of our home when she stays. Couldn’t ask for a better caregiver to our babies!”

“Leah checked in and sent a picture of my boy every time she visited while I was away, and he seemed so happy in every shot. Leah is courteous and reliable, and I'm really glad she was the person to drop in while I was not home. I highly recommend Leah and will I hire her again the next time I have to be away.”

“Jade is so nice and did a great job checking in on my two kitties over the holidays. I get super anxious leaving them but after meeting her and seeing her interact with them I knew they were in good hands! I really appreciated that she was attentive to all the details I told her and kept me updated me on everything. I would definitely recommend her :)”

“Emily did a phenomenal job. She was very reliable, professional, and dependable when it came to making sure our three babies were taking care of during our travels outside of the country. We will definitely be using Emily again.”
“Jennifer was great with our pack! We appreciated the detailed updates and wonderful pictures she took. Will definitely be using her again and highly recommend her to take care of your pack.”
About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was 14 through friends, family, and neighbors. I have been expected to feed, bathe, walk, and clean litter boxes. I have had a love for animals since I was a young child and always make sure they have the love and care they need. I have an older boy named Taz who I love dearly. I currently work full time Mon.-Fri. until around 5 o clock. I am available in the evenings during the week, and any time on the weekends. I worry about my baby when I am away so I completely understand the expectation of your animal being taken care of however is best for him/her. It’s important to me to give each animal the attention they need and also respect your wishes as well as theirs.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Rural Hill. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
