About: Hello! I have been taking care of pets for 7 wonderful years! When I’m not teaching energetic kiddos, I dedicate my time to looking after energetic fur babies! I have two fur babies of my own: Bitzie, a Netherland Dwarf bunny, and Ausker, an Aussie! Please trust me with the care of your pets as I have both the experience and passion for pets of all kinds. I am a teacher, so I am available 24/7 during summer break (June-July) as well as weekends and holidays during the school year. I gladly welcome any same day appointments as I know life happens! First, and most importantly, I follow the directions given to me; you know what’s best for your babies and I am more than willing and able to follow your lead on their care. With drop-in visits, my goal is play (or sit) with your babies for however long is needed. I am also willing to drop in for feedings and/or medication administration.

About: The first thing I ever remember really wanting in life was a dog. We got my first dog when I was about 4 years old. Her name was Heidi and she was a stout old-fashioned style Boston Terrier. We proceeded to adopt and foster 6 or 7 more Boston Terriers as members of the Southern Cross Boston Terrier Rescue through the years. Finally at age 28 I adopted the dog I had been dreaming about since watching Balto as a tot : a white Siberian Husky with blue eyes. Kida quickly became my whole world and I never gave up on her when the training got "ruff." Four years later the second love of my life came to me in divine timing. Our last of the Boston Terrier Era had crossed the rainbow bridge and I saw how lonely Kida was. I thought it was the perfect time to start looking for her black wolf brother. Less than a month later an 8 week old Australian Shepherd/Malinois/Dutch Shepherd mix casually sat on my foot at the dog park. We took one look at each other and the rest was history. That being said, I now definitely have experience handling high-drive doggos with a myriad of concerns. I am able to implement most types of training that your dog may need while on walks or while you're away. I am a freelancer completely, so I'm almost entirely available to devote time to your pets, with the exception of several hours per day to devote to mine! Since I have two high-drive dogs of my own, I'm avoiding boarding for now. But I am able to stay in your home or make visits, whichever is preferred. I am more than happy to obviously feed and keep the fur babies hydrated, while also playing with them for an hour or two, administering any medicine that needs to be taken, crating them, taking them for walks, relaxing with them, and really just giving them whatever they need!
