“Stephanie was amazing! She was very effective communicating by letting me know everything that happened with my puppy while she dropped in. Great photos and updates for my 10 week old puppy, as there was great progress during the time she was visiting! She’ll be my go-to!”

“Very communicative and sent so many cute pictures! Was such a relief to have Abigail stop in to let Jordy out while I’m at work. Will absolutely use again in the future. Very reliable.”

“Jill was so great! She had to find my hiding senior cat and give her oral meds, and she managed both, sending pictures along the way. We are thankful for Jill’s help and would be happy to book with her again.”
“Katherine is the best pet sitter in Nashville! She helped so much and was so reliable for my cat JoJo! She even sent daily updates and photos which put me at ease each day! Look no further for your next sitter for your animal.”

“Whitney was incredible! This was my first time being away from my cat since I got him, so I had a million questions and lots of little things to note. She handled everything I asked—and more. I was nervous leaving my cat with a stranger, but she completely put me at ease. I will absolutely be booking with her again!”

“Laura is a wonderful pet sitter! The care, attention to detail, follow up, and professionalism is top notch! I was gone for almost two weeks and I could enjoy my trip knowing she was there taking care of and giving the best of care to my little rat terrier.”

“I have a very skiddish cat so for me to leave her with Hannah and know my cat was comfortable enough to come out and get some attention while I was gone was very reassuring! My cat was well fed and well loved while I was traveling and I'm very appreciate to know I can trust Hannah to do it again!”

“Bae Lee helped me out at the literal last minute when I was already out of town and was able to do a drop in for my cat that day and the next day as well. Very very appreciative of her patience with my miscommunications due to terrible phone and internet service lol. Will definitely use Bae Lee again!”

“Ellen is my go-to Rover whenever I have to go out of town. My kitties love her and she always takes the time and effort to capture many great photos and leaves a thorough visit summary. Highly recommend!”

“Rachel was absolutely amazing with our cats! Not only had we recently introduced a new cat into our family, but we were traveling for one of our longest times away ever! We could tell from her communications and pictures that they were happy and cared for. We have very social and loving cats, and Rachel kept them feeling safe. She went WAY ABOVE the job description and helped with relationships of the cats, health, and even a little home emergency! I feel so lucky to have found her and would contact her immediately if I knew I needed a pet sitter again, or if any of my friends and family needed a pet sitter. Thanks so much, Rachel! 10 out of 10 recommend!”

“Alexandra was great! She updated me and took a picture of my pup while she was visiting. She took Winston outside, fed him, and played with him to give him a little company. I would recommend Alexandra.”
“Thanks so much to Anna for checking in on our dogs this afternoon! This is our second time booking on Rover with Anna and it won’t be the last. Anna is communicative, on-time and very detail-oriented!”

“Amy was great! There were difficulties on our building's end with access, but she was so communicative and worked to navigate the issues. Our little man appreciated her visits, and we would be happy to have her watch him again.”

“Jessica took awesome care of my kitty while I was gone!! This was my first time using rover but I’ll definitely be booking with Jessica again in the future. She sent great updates and pictures on both visits.”

About: I work professionally with a dog rescue in Nashville, where I spend time with dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and personalities. I’m regularly around rescue dogs and puppies and have experience handling dogs in new environments, reading their behavior, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I’ve also fostered dogs myself, which has given me hands on experience caring for dogs in my home and adapting to each dog’s individual needs, personality, and routine. I’m patient, attentive, reliable, and genuinely love getting to know each dog’s individual personality and routine. Whether your pup needs walks, playtime, lots of attention, or simply someone to keep them company, I’ll treat them with the same care I’d want for my own! For boarding, I’m home full-time three days a week, and sometimes more, which gives me plenty of flexibility to make pet care part of my routine. I’m available for drop-ins and walks at any time on Sundays and Mondays. Tuesday through Thursday, I’m available from 6–9 a.m. and 6:30–10 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays from 6–9 a.m. and 4:30–10 p.m. For dogs staying with me, my apartment building also has a fenced-in dog park, making it easy to provide plenty of potty breaks, outdoor time, and playtime throughout the day. I know how important it is to feel completely comfortable with the person caring for your pet. I’m attentive to each pet’s individual needs and will always follow your instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, routines, and any house rules. In my home, pets will receive plenty of attention and supervision. I’ll make sure they feel comfortable in a new environment and keep their routine as consistent as possible. My apartment building also has a fenced in dog park for outdoor time, play, and potty breaks. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of both your pet’s routine and your space. I’ll make sure your pet gets the care, attention, and exercise they’re used to, and I’m happy to provide regular photo and text updates so you know how they’re doing while you’re away.

100/10 will book again! I had a last minute booking because my kitty had an accident and had to have surgery 1 week before a non refundable work trip- literally last minute!9pm morning before- she was very communicative and makes sure to send all the pictures. she was on time every time and never got overwhelmed with my (5 cats total) So very kind as well!!!! Spectacular! Amazing! Attentive!!

This was our 2nd time using Rebecca and it was equally fantastic. She's very communicative giving us updates on our cats. She cleans up any messes and makes sure they are all doing well and gives them love when they allow it 🤣. I'll definitely use Rebecca again and would absolutely recommend her to others. Thanks so much!

Teresa was absolutely amazing! She watched our three cats for a few days, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. This was our first time using Rover, and Teresa made the entire experience so easy and reassuring. She went above and beyond. From providing thorough check-in notes and lots of pictures to keeping track of how much each cat was eating. She was especially thoughtful with our shy cat and even paid attention to where their food was placed to make sure they were comfortable. She kept the litter box clean, took out our trash, and even went out of her way to pick up our keys herself. We would absolutely book Teresa again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, thoughtful, and attentive pet sitter!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cumberland Heights. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
